Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of CAD/CAM all-ceramic onlay in the restoration of molars with extensive defect after root canal therapy(RCT).Methods:260 molars with extensive defect were restored by all-ceramic onlay after RCT.The patients were followed up for 18 months. The restoration effects were assessed using USPHS criteria. Results:The success rate of CAD/CAM all-ceramic onlay was 98%.Restoration exfoliation was found in 3 cases, fractured in 2 cases.Conclusion:CAD/CAM all-ceramic onlay can be applied in restoring extensive postenor tooth-defection after RCT.

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of acupoint injection with nucleotide plus conventional western medicine treatment for moderate and severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).Methods Sixty patients confirmed as moderate and severe COPD were evenly randomized into treatment group and control group. The treatment group was given conventional western medicine treatment and injection with nucleotide on bilateral Dingchuan points, and the control group was given conventional western medicine treatment alone. The treatment lasted for one year. The frequency of COPD acute onset and hospitalization times within one year were recorded.Meanwhile, the severity of dyspnea was evaluated with Medical Research Council (MRC) dyspnea scale scoring. Results (1)The frequency of COPD acute onset and hospitalization times within one year in the treatment group were lowered, and the differences were significant compared with those in the control group (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01).(2) After treatment,MRC dyspnea scale scores in the treatment group were improved (P < 0.05 compared with those before treatment),but the improvement of the scores was insignificant in the control group(P > 0.05).The intergroup comparison showed that the effect on improving MRC dyspnea scale scores in the treatment group was superior to that in the control group (P < 0.05),indicating that the severity of dyspnea was much improved in the treatment group as compared with the control group. Conclusion Acupoint injection with nucleotide is effective on enhancing the therapeutic effect of conventional western medicine treatment for moderate and severe COPD.

The effect of recombinant human phospholipase D2(rhPLD2)in vivo was investigated on the secretion of serum glycosyl phosphatidylinositol-specific phospholipase D(GPI-PLD)in guinea pigs of chronic asthma.Ater treating the guinea pigs attacked by chronic asthma with rhPLD2,the GPI-PLD activity detection was canrried out by phase separation of human placental alkaline phosphatase in Triton X-114.Compared with the healthy guinea pigs(NS group),the serum GPI-PLD in the guinea pigs of chronic asthma are much higher than that of control groups,P≤0.01.Our results showed that rhPLD2 could significantly reduce the secretion of GPI-PLD when the guinea pigs were attacked by chronic asthma.

OBJECTIVE To know the disinfection and sterilization work quality in some hospitals, and to improve nosocomial disinfection and infection control management. METHODS Field selective examination and laboratory examination methods were used to carry out survey. RESULTS The eligible rate of indoor air was the lowest during three years in two provinces. The eligible rate of endoscope disinfection efficacy and ultraviolet radiation intensity was low. The eligible rate of autoclaving quality and oral instruments was more than 80% in the last two years. The eligible rate of sterile medical devices was over 90% in the last three years. CONCLUSIONS The results suggested that nosocomial infection incidence rate be decreased by improving disinfectant environment, adding disinfectant equipments or medical treatment instruments and enhancing doctors′ and nurses′ washing hands awareness.
