Phosphatidylserine (PS) is a phospholipid that is abundant in eukaryotic plasma membranes, has crucial biological functions.Under cell apoptosis, cells can not generate enough ATP for energy and the concentration of cytoplasmic Ca 2 +increases, resulting in PS eversion.Apoptosis and the clearance of apoptotic cells are essential processes in animal development and homeostasis. For apoptotic cells to be cleared, they must display aneat me signal, most likely PS exposure, which prompts phagocytes to engulf the cells.PS is exposed by the action of scramblase on the cell's surface in biological processes such as apoptosis and platelet activation.Once exposed to the cell surface, PS acts as an eat me signal on dead cells, and creates a scaffold for blood-clotting factors on activated platelets. The molecular identities of the flippase and scramblase that work at plasma membranes have long eluded researchers.Indeed, their identity as well as the mechanism of the PS exposure to the cell surface has only recently been revealed. We describe how PS is exposed in activated platelets and in apoptotic cells, and discuss the clearance of apoptotic cells.

In recent years, with the rapid development of antitumor targeted drug therapy, the preparation of antitumor liposomes and its targeting research have attracted attention of scholars. Anti-tumor targeted drug treatment requires the drug to reach the tumor site has a relatively high concentration and longer retention time, the tumor cells have a strong cytotoxic activity, while normal cells no significant side effects. The drug has an in vivo distribution and specificity for the target fine action. The preparation methods of liposomes include film dispersion method, reverse evaporation method, ethanol injection method, supercritical reverse phase evaporation method and freeze-drying method. Antitumor targeting liposomes can be divided into active targeting liposomes and passive targeting liposomes. Targeted liposomes can specifically target tumor cells by recognizing specific targets in the tumor tissue, thus enriching tumor cells and killing tumor cells. In this paper, the preparation of anti-tumor liposomes and the progress of its targeting, for future study and application of liposomes provide a reference.

AIM: To study effects of tumour necrosis factor alpha(TNF?) and interleukin-10(IL-10) on human cytomegalovirus AD169 (HCMV AD169) infection in human embryonic lung fibroblasts (HEL),and the ability of the infected HEL to produce TNF?. We have attempted to understand the effect of cytokines in the immune of HCMV infection. METHODS: TNF??IL-10 were added separately with different concentrations before 24 h HCMV infection of HEL to study the effect of TNF? and IL-10 on multiplication of HCMV. HCMV was incubated with HEL, TNF? in culture supernatants were measured at 4, 24, 48, 72, 96 h postinfection. The level of TNF? was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay( ELISA). RESULTS: The addition of TNF? with the concentration of 10-100 ?g/L or IL-10 with the concentration of 1-10 ?g/L before 24 h HCMV infection of HEL could remarkably inhibited the multiplication of HCMV in HEL. Level of TNF? didn't increase in infected cell supernatants. CONCLUSION: TNF? and IL-10 play an important role in the immune of HCMV infection.

Objective To search for the methods of inducing the high stability rat middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) model and to noninvasively assess the method of model effect. Methods Six kinds of filaments with different diameters were used to induce rat MCAO models and their success rate, incidence of subarachnoid hemorrhage, and infarct volume were compared. The model scores were performed to assess the model effect after the operation and at 24 hours after reperfusion. Results Higher model success rate and lower incidence of subarachnoid hemorrhage were achieved when the 0. 28 mm in diameter and 0.32-0.34 mm in tip diameter filaments were used. 1he sensibility and specificity were higher when the model scores were performed at 24 hours after reperfusion. Conclusions Using the filaments of 0.28 mm in diameter and 0. 32-0. 34 mm in tip diameter for intraluminal thread could improved the stability of the models. The model scores at 24 hours after reperfusion could noninvasively assess the model effect.

OBJECTIVE:
To evaluate the efficacy of sublingual immunotherapy with dermatophagoides farina drops on children with allergic rhinitis.
METHOD:
This was retrospective study analyzing the efficacy of dermatophaguides farinae drops SLIT in 110 patients (aged 4-14 years old) with house dust mites induced allergic rhinitis (without asthma). All the patients were divided into the SLIT group (n = 60) and drug group (n = 50). Patients in SLIT group received sublingual immunotherapy combined with symptomatic medication, and patients in drug group only received symptomatic medication. We recorded and evaluated the total nasal symptom scores (TNSS), total medication scores (TMS) and visual analogue scale (VAS) of the 2 groups at three time points, before the treatment, and the treatment for 1-year and 2-year.
RESULT:
After 1-year and 2-year treatment, compared with drug group, TMS, TNSS and VAS in SLIT group decreased significantly (P < 0.01). When compared with baseline, we got the similar result as compared with drug group. Besides, the TMS of drug group increased significantly after treatment (P < 0.01). And no significant difference was observed in TNSS and VAS. In addition, there was significant difference in the Proportion of patients withdrawing symptomatic medication in SLIT group and drug group (68.33%,16.00%, respectively; P < 0.01). There were 4 local adverse reactions occurred during the treatment and no serious adverse events occurred.
CONCLUSION
Sublingual immunotherapy with Dermatophagoides farinae drops showed significant clinical efficacy in children with allergic rhinitis comparing with pharmacotherapy.

Objective To detect the expressions of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA), C-erbB-2, p53, estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR) in order to explore the proper margin for breast conservative surgery on Chinese women. Methods We collected 40 resection specimens from breast cancer patients who had received radical surgery. Then we divided each specimen into primary tumor group and hyperplasia and gene expression characteristics of PCNA, c-erbB-2, p53, ER and PR were measured by pathological and immunohistochemical assay in the five groups. Results With the further distance from the primary tumor, the proportions of high-risk disease and positive gene expressions of PCNA, c-erbB-2 and p53 in paracarcinoma tissues gradually decreased (P<0.05). Higher risk and more positive expressions were related to paracarcinoma was no correlation of PCNA, ER and PR expressions adjacent to breast cancer with tissue differentiation and lymph node metastasis (P>0.05). a safe and appropriater region for breast conservative surgery.
