1.THE CLINICAL EXPERIENCE OF MINOR BLUEGREEN DRAGON DECOCTION IN TREAT-MENT OF CHRONIC COUGH

Objective To evualate the clinical efficacy of Minor Bluegreen Dragon Decoction in the treatment of chronic cough.Methods 106 cases of chronic cough were randomly divided into Minor Bluegreen Dragon Decoction in the treatment group of 59 cases, and Compound Liquorice Tablets treatment of 47 cases of the control group, the improvement de-gree of the symptoms (cough and expectoration) were observed before and after treatment.Results The treatment group and the control group the total effective rate were 86.4% and 36.2%, and the treatment group was significantly higher than that in control group (p<0.01).Two groups of cough and expectoration symptom improvement in varying degrees after treatment, but the treatment group was more effective(p<0.05).Conclusion Minor Bluegreen Dragon Decoction treatment of chronic cough patients (excluding other respiratory disease), is effective and safe, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
2.Effects of 125 Ⅰ seeds interstitial brachytherapy on orbital adenoid cystic carcinoma

BackgroundAdenoid cystic carcinoma is a malignant tumor originating from lacrimal gland epithelium with high recurrence rate and mortality because of its invasiveness. Although surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy are used clinically,the curative effect is not enough satisfied. ObjectiveThis study was to provide an experimental basis for clinical application of 125 Ⅰ seeds interstitial brachytherapy. MethodsHuman ACC-2 cell links were transplanted subcutaneously in the back of 30 SPF BALB/C nude mice to establish the ACC model,and 25 of these mice with suitable sizes of tumor were selected and randomly divided into the G1 (0. 4 mCi 125 Ⅰ ), G2 (0. 6 mCi 125 Ⅰ ) ,G3(0. 8mCi 125 Ⅰ ) ,and G4( 1.0mCi 125 Ⅰ ) groups according to the different therapeutic radioactivity treatments,with 5 nude mice for each group,and a 125 Ⅰ seed without radioactivity was used in 5 mice as the control group. The dimensions of the tumors were measured at 2-day intervals and the inhibition rates of tumors were calculated. Nude mice were killed 14 days later by the broken neck method,and the amount of apoptosis and necrosis as well as the maximum effective radius of tumor to 125Ⅰseed were detected under the transmission electron microscope and routine pathological examination. ResultsFourteen day after operation, the dimension of tumors was (3713.19±243.23)mm3 in the G0 group;while in the G1 ,G2 ,G3 and G4 groups,the dimensions of tumors were (3113.35±316.54) mm3,(2635.85±261.21) mm3, (2538.37±312.16) mm3 and(1686.28±231.65) mm3,respectively, showing a significant decrease in comparison with the Go group( P<0. 05 ). The tumor inhibitory rates in the G1 ,G2,G3 and G4 group were(20. 11±3.09)%, (36. 18±2.54)% ,(40. 83±4. 17)% ,and(66. 63±5.34)% ,with an obvious elevation with the increase in the dose of 125 Ⅰ ( F=120. 240,P=0. 000). Correlative analysis showed that the intensity of radioactivity from 125Ⅰhad a positive correlation with tumor inhibitory rate (r =0. 653,P =0. 008 ). The maximum effective radius were ( 5.2 ±0.5 ) mm, ( 6.4 ±0. 7 ) mm, ( 7.4 ±0.4 ) mm, and ( 8.2 ±0. 5 ) mm in the G1 ,G2, G3 and G4 groups, with the considerable differences among them (F=29. 22, P=0. 000). Radioactivity of 125 Ⅰ exhibited positive correlation with the maximum effective radius ( r =0. 609, P =0. 004). Conclusions125 Ⅰseed implantation brachytherapy can inhibit the growth of the transplanted ACC in BALB/C nude mice by suppressing the proliferation of tumor cells. It is a safe ,feasible and effective method to treat adenoid cystic carcinoma.
3.CT analysis of acute intracranial trauma

ObjectiveTo study CT features of acute intracranial trauma and changes of hematoma in acute stage. MethodsCT findings of acute intracranial trauma of 152 cases were analyzed. ResultsIn 100 cases with intracranial hematoma, the hematoma enlarged obviously within 5-72 h after trauma in 25 cases; the hematoma enlarged markedly within 72 h-7d after trauma in 3 cases. In 76 cases of cerebral contusion, counter point trauma was found in 17 cases. In 61 cases of subarachnoid hemorrhage, high density in cerebral sulcus was shown in 49 cases. Skull fracture was found in 75 cases. Conclusions Intracranial hematoma may enlarge gradually within 7d after trauma. Cerebral contusion was partially due to counter point trauma. Hemorrhage in cerebral sulcus was demonstrated on CT as increased density in the cerebral sulcus, which is the most important sign of subarachnoid hemorrhage. Hemorrhage in interhemispheric fissure was demonstrated on CT as centipede-line increased density, which is an important sign for differentiating from subdural hematoma. Skull fracture was closely related with lntracranial trauma, which was complicated with adjacent extradural hematoma frequently.
5.The abnormal expressions of immunoglobulin light chains Kappa and Lambda in malignant tumors

Objective To investigate the abnormal expressions of immunoglobulin light chains kappa(Igκ)and Lambda(Igλ)in malignant tumors.Methods The concentrations of the Igκ and Igλ in serum were measured by rat nephelometry in 60 cases of malignant tumors and 15 cases of healthy people.Results The liver tumor patients had a higher concentration of Igκ and Igλ in serum than normal people(P<0.01).There wre not significant differences between the levels of Igκ,Igλ and κ/λ ratio in the stomach tumor,lung tumor,proctologic/colonic tumor,mammary tumor,oesophagus tumor and normal peoples(P>0.05).Conclusion The measurment of Igκ,Igλ and κ/λ ratio in serum would be helpful for the diagnosis of the liver tumor.By continous observation with Igκ,Igλ and κ/λratio in serum could predict the development of disease.

7.Efficacy and safety of linezolid in the treatment of gram-positive coccus in-fection in the elderly

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of linezolid in the treatment of gram-positive coccus in-fection in the elderly.Methods Clinical data of patients (>60 years old)infected with gram-positive coccus and treated with linezolid for 10 days between January 2013 and December 2014 were collected,the therapeutic efficacy of linezolid were analyzed,laboratory indexes before and 14 days after linezolid treatment were compared,possible adverse effects were analyzed.Results A total of 70 old patients were enrolled,the majority of patients were infec-ted in lower respiratory tract (62.86%)and were infected with Staphylococcus aureus (42.86%,of which 19 were MRSA),more than 80% of the patients were >70 years old,had length of stay > 30 days,and admitted in ICU, more than 70% of the patients were with deep venous catheterization and indwelling urinary catheterization.Platelet count (PLT)after 14 days of linezolid treatment was significantly lower than before treatment([132.00±45.00]× 109/L vs [156.00±78.00]×109/L,P =0.009);the total therapeutic efficacy of linezolid was 81 .43%(57/70), while the rate of adverse effects was 17.14% (12/70).Conclusion Linezolid is effective for treatment of gram-posi-tive coccus infection in the elderly,and may be a good choice of empirical treatment.PLT should be intensively mo-nitored during the process of linezolid therapy.
8.Contrast-enhanced Digital Subtraction MRI in Vertebral Metastases

Objective To evaluate the clinical application of contrast-enhanced digital subtraction MRI in vertebral metastases.Methods 50 patients with vertebral metastases were scanned by contrast-enhanced T_1WI with an injection of Gd-DTPA(0.1 mmol/kg).Digital subtraction were performed between post-contrast-enhanced images and pre-contrast-enhanced images.Vertebral metastases were evaluated by means of a contrast to noise ratio(CNR) and signal to noise ratio(SNR),and boundaries were compared between subtraction MRI images and conventional contrast T_1WI MR images.Results Contrast-enhanced digital subtraction MRI images were better than conventional contrast T_1WI MR images in showing the lesions. 10.Determination of the Content of Astragaloside Ⅳ in Qi Zao Granules By HPLC-ELSD

Objective To determine the content of astragaloside Ⅳin Qi Zao Granules.Methods Equipped with the evaporative light scattering detector (ELSD), a RP-HPLC method was established. The chromatographic column was C18 and the column temperature was at 30 ℃.The drift tube temperature was at 40 ℃and the evaporative gas was nitrogen with pressure of 3.5 bar.The mobile phase was acetonitrile-water(30∶70) and the flow rate was 1mL/min. Results This method showed a good linear relationship in the range of 2.51~50.2 ?g astragaloside Ⅳ. The average recovery was 98.13 %with RSD being 1.28 %. Conclusion The method is sensitive and accurate and can be used for the quality control of Qi Zao Granules.
