Objective To explore the effect of collaborative health education by both doctors and nurses on parturition? Methods One hundred and sixty primiparas at uterogestation undergoing analgesic parturition were assigned equally into the control and observation groups according to their admission sequence? The control group received routine nursing intervention and the observation group the collaborative health education by both doctors and nurses? The two groups were compared in terms of analgesic effect, vaginal delivery and post-partum hemorrhage? Result The rates of analgesic delivery and vaginal delivery in the observation group were significantly higher and the volume of postpartum hemorrhage was significantly smaller than those of the control group(all P < 0?05)?Conclusion The collaborative health education may be effective in alleviating mental stress of the preimiparas, enhancing the analgesic effect, increasing the rate of vaginal delivery and decreasing the volume of postpartum hemorrhage?

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(6):880-887
BACKGROUND:A variety of embryonic stem cells induction and differentiation systems have been established so far, while the research that promotes embryonic stem cells to differentiate into hematopoietic stem cells is stil at an initial stage, and the induction efficiency needs to be improved.
OBJECTIVE:To active the Wnt/β-catenin signal pathway in mouse embryonic stem cells with exogenous win3a as an inducer, and then to observe whether the activation of this pathway wil promote the directional differentiation of embryonic stem cells into hematopoietic progenitor cells.
METHODS:The ES-E14TG2a mouse stem cells were cultured with the exogenous wnt3a (100 μg/L) for 21 days, the content ofβ-catenin was tested by cellimmunofluorescence and western blot, and expression of Wnt downstream target gene was detected by quantitative reverse transcription PCR to determine the activation of Wnt/β-catenin signal pathway. Single-layer adherent culture method was used to induce the directional differentiate of above-mentioned cells into hematopoietic stem cells, and detection of hematopoietic development associated surface marker CD34+/Sca-1+was achieved by flow cytometry;meanwhile, the expression of hematopoietic associated gene was measured by quantitative reverse transcription PCR.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:We found thatβ-catenin accumulated in ES-E14TG2a mouse stem cells after cultured with wnt3a (100 μg/L) for 21 days;the expressions of Wnt downstream target genes such as Pitx2, Frizzled, Sox17 and Oct4 showed the different degrees in increase, meaning the activation of Wnt/β-catenin signal pathway. Furthermore, during the time that we used single-layer adherent culture method to induce hematopoietic stem cells, the CD34+/Sca-1+cells accounted for 20.2%of total cells at day 14, and control cells only accounted for 11.9%. Again, expression quantity of hematopoietic associated gene BMP4, FLK2 and CD34 increased while Smad5 was suppressed significantly. Our data suggest that sustaining action by wnt3a wil active Wnt/β-catenin signal pathway, and also promote the directional differentiation of ES-E14TG2a mouse stem cells into hematopoietic progenitor cells.

ObjectiveTo investigate the correlation of lipids and lipoproteins with cardiac function in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD).MethodsParameters of blood pressure, serum lipids and lipoproteins, clinical features, radionuclide ventriculographic and coronary angiographic findings were analyzed retrospectively in 584 CHD patients treated with standard treatment.ResultsThe left cardiac dysfunction of CHD patients was correlative positively with age, systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), blood glucose, body mass index (BMI), smoking, total cholesterol(TC) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-ch) significantly(P<0.001), not correlative with high density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-ch). The left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and left ventricular peak filling rate (LVPFR) were decreased along with the levels of TC and LDL-ch increased (P<0.05~0.01).ConclusionTC and LDL-ch are positively correlative with left cardiac dysfunction in CHD patients. In order to reduce cardiac damage of CHD associated with hyperlipoidemia, more attention should be paid to the amelioration of coronary arteriosclerosis and the reduction of serum lipids and lipoproteins.

To study the protective effect and the mechanism of asiatic acid (AA) from Potentilla chinensis on alcohol hepatic injury in rats. Male Wistar rats were randomly divided into six groups: the normal control group, the AA control group (8 mg · kg(-1) AA), the model group (5.0-9.0 g · kg(-1) alcohol) and high, medium and low-dose AA-treated groups (alcohol + 8, 4, 2 mg · kg(-1) AA). Each group was orally administered with the corresponding drugs once a day for 24 weeks. Approximately 1. 5 hours after the final administration, all rats were killed, and their blood samples and hepatic tissues were collected. The AST and ALT in rat serum and the contents of MPO, TNF-α, IL-1β, SOD, GSH-Px, GSH-Rd and MDA in hepatic tissues were detected. The expressions of NF-κB, TLR4, CD14, MyD88, TRIF and protein expression in hepatic tissues were measured by western blot. The pathological changes in liver tissues were observed by histological examination. The results showed that compared with the model group, the AA-treated groups showed significant decreases in serum ALT, AST and MDA and increases in the activities of SOD, GSH-Px, GSH-Rd and MPO. Moreover, AA markedly inhibited the expressions of TNF-α, IL-1β, TLR4, CD14, MyD88 and NF-κB. The histological examination showed alleviated hepatic issue ijury to varying degrees. In short, asiatic acid (AA) from P. chinensis could protect alcohol-induced hepatic injury in rats. Its mechanism may be related to the inhibition of NF-κB inactivation and the reduction of inflammatory response.

10.In vitro drug release profiles and mucoadhesive property of bioadhesive microspheres of metronidazole.
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2002;37(3):226-228
AIMTo prepare bioadhesive microspheres of metronidazole (Metro) with prolonging resident time in the stomach and sustaining drug release.
METHODSThe microspheres were prepared by a drying-in-liquid method. The appearance, particle size and drug release in vitro were examined. The factors influencing bioadhesive property and drug release, such as ethyl cellulose (EC)/carbopol 934P (CP) ratio, particle size and Metro content were investigated.
RESULTSThe average diameter of the Metro-EC-CP microspheres was 559.9 microns. The release profiles of metronidazole were shown to fit to first-order equations well. With the increase of CP content in the Metro-EC-CP microspheres, the microspheres showed better mucoadhesion and faster drug release. The drug release rate decreased with the increase of particle size and the decrease of Metro content.
CONCLUSIONThe Metro-EC-CP microspheres have a sound mucoadhsive property and sustained drug release when the ratio of EC and CP was 17:3 and Metro content was 25%. The drug release was shown to last for 8 h in 0.1 mol.L-1 hydrochloric acid.
