ObjectiveTo evaluate effects of hyperbaric oxygenation on motor function in children with cerebral palsy. Methods49 infants with cerebral palsy were classified into two groups, hyperbaric oxygenation group(29cases) and control group (20 cases). Two groups were treated with cerebrolysin and received family rehabilitation drill. In additional, the hyperbaric oxygenation group was treated with hyperbaric oxygenation therapy. The children's motor function of two groups was evaluated before and after the treatment.ResultsThe effect in the hyperbaric oxygenation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.01). Conclusions Hyperbaric oxygenation is an effective therapy on infantile cerebral palsy.

Chinese Journal of Perinatal Medicine 2000;0(04):-
Objective To investigate the expression of insulin-like growth factor-Ⅱ( IGF-II ) and its mRNA in human placenta and to evaluate its role in the pathogenesis pregnancy induced hypertension (PIH). Methods The cellular distribution of IGF-Ⅱin normal and PIH placenta was determined by immunohistochemistry. Trophoblasts were digested, separated, and purified from placenta. IGF-ⅡmRNA expression in trophoblasts was detected by RT-PCR. The mean density was determined by image analysis technique. Results (1) IGF-Ⅱwas mostly found in syncytiotrophoblast, cytotrophoblast and amnio-chorion. The strongest immunoreactivity was observed in the syncytiotrophoblast and cytotrophoblast. (2)The mean density of PIH placenta (0.324?0.042) was significantly lower than that of normotensives (0.360?0.072,P

Objective To investigate effects and safety of dexmedetomidine on the prevention of abnormal mental in patients after liver transplantation. Methods 160 patients after liver transplantation were randomly divided into the two groups using the drawing method:midazolam group(n =80),dexmedetomidine group(n =80),compared the two groups of patients with general, mental abnormality and the occurrence of adverse reactions. Results There were no significant differences in the general situation (gender, age, postoperative ventilator time,ICU stay time,oper-ation time, blood FK506 concentration,APACHEII score 24 hours after operation)of the two groups of patients (P >0.05),the spirit of the abnormal rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P =0.009), incidence of hypotension and hypertension in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P =0.035,0.029).Conclusion Dexmedetomidine can effectively reduce the postoperative mental disorders in patients in the early stage after liver transplantation.

Objective:To investigate the polymorphism of HLA-DQA1 genes in Jing nationality of Central Vietnam. Methods:Applied PCR-SSP tecnique to determine the polymorphism of the HLA-DQA1 alleles of 105 healthy children and youth, unrelated individuals in Central of Vietnam.Results:10 HLA-DQA1 alleles were detected of which DQA1*0104 were the most common allele with frequency of 21.3% and lowest frequency is DQA1*0601.Conclusion:The results indicate that HLA-DQA1 alleles polymorphism of Jing nationality in Central Vietnam is different from the other Chinese. AIM: To investigate therapeutic effects of recombinant human growth hormone(rhGH) on rat sepsis and its possible mechanisms. METHODS: Mean arterial pressure (MAP), levels of plasma TNF?,IL-1? and endotoxin, leukocyte count and survival rate within 1 week were determined after E. coli injection among control group, sepsis group and sepsis+rhGH group. RESULTS: (1)rhGH diminished the decrease of MAP, reduced plasma endotoxin and TNF? levels and increased neutrophil ratio in total leukocytes in sepsis rat. rhGH increased survival rate within 1 week on sepsis rat. (2)No changes were found in IL-1? level among the three groups. CONCLUSION: rhGH showed desirable beneficial effects on rat sepsis, which may attribute to: improving circulatory function; maintaining intestinal mucosa barrier, attenuating bacteria/endotoxin translocation and inhibiting the production and release of TNF?.

Objective To investigate the changes of inflammatory factors in the blood serum and their relationship with the immune status of patients with active pulmonary tuberculosis(TB).Methods A total of 97 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis were included from Feb 2003 to Oct 2005,57 of active TB,40 in resting period.Another 41 healthy people were used as normal control.ELISA and APAAP method were used to detect the level of TNF-?, IL-1,IL-6 and the changes of CD_(4),CD_(8)and CD_(4)/CD_(8).Results The levels of IL-1,IL-6,TNF-? were(15.3?1.3),(80.5?7.3) and(77.2?9.8) ng/ml in the normal controls,(33.7?3.6),(293.6?30.5) and(190.7?25.2) in the patients of active TB,and(18.2?2.1),(130.7?14.5),(87.5?10.2) ng/ml in the patients at resting period, which were highest in the patients of active TB.The ratio of CD_(4)and CD_(4)/CD_(8) was(32.3?2.9)% and(0.83?0.17) in the patients of active TB,lower than(48.2?4.4)% and(0.83?0.17) of normal controls. Conclusion The increase of inflammatory factors and decrease of immune activity were the clinical characteristic of patients with active pulmonary tuberculosis, which are of inverse relationship.

Objective:To study the preventive and therapeutic effects of Jiechangyan Qixiao granule ( JQX) in the rats with ulcer-ative colitis ( UC) induced by dextran sulfate sodium .Methods:The UC model was induced by drinking dextran sulfate sodium ( DSS, 4%) freely in Wistar rats weighting 180-220g.Guben Yichang tablets and sulfasalazine was used as the standard drugs for the compari -son.After 7-day intragastric administration of Jiechangyan Qixiao granules at the dose of 2.70, 1.35 and 0.68 g· kg-1 · d-1 , the se-rum levels of malondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD), nitric oxide (NO), interleukin -6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), and the protein expression of myeloperoxidase (MPO) and intercellular adhesion molecule (ICAM-1)in colon and nuclear factor(NF-kBp65) were detected. Results:Compared with the model group, the granule at high and medium dose could sig-nificantly increase the activity of SOD in blood and decrease the contents of MDA , TNF-αand IL-6 (P<0.05 or P<0.01).The granule could also notably decrease the MOP activity in colonic mucous of UC rats (P<0.05 or P<0.01), and the contents of NF-kBp65 and ICAM-1 in the inflammation reaction(P<0.01).Conclusion: JQX shows promising efficacy in the treatment of UC rats induced by dextran sulfate sodium .
