Stable and reliable animal models are required for preclinical studies of new drugs .In this article , we reviewed the rodent models associated with positive symptoms , negative symptoms and cognitive impairment of schizophrenia and the behavioral evaluation on these models , hoping to provide useful references of animal models for the antipsychotic drug screening and preclinical studies .

Aim To evaluate the effects of fibrinolytic enzyme FⅡ from agkistrodon acutus venom on an experimental model of kidney thrombus induced by lipopolysaccharide(LPS). Methods The model of microvascular thrombosis in the rabbits kidney was performed by the method of Hermida, which was induced by infusing LPS. Treatments were begun simultaneously with LPS infusion, through the contralateral marginal ear vein. Six different groups were established: NS 10 ml?h~-1 was infused as the negative control group, urokinase ~20 000 IU?kg~-1 ?h~-1 as positive control group, FⅡwas infused with the dosage of 0.1(Low-dose), 0.3 (medium-dose),0.6 (high-dose) mg?kg~-1 ?h~-1 . The further rabbits, which were given neither LPS nor FⅡ, were infused with saline solution through both marginal ear veins. Kinney sections were examined for the presence of fibrin microthrombi. The measurement of FDP concentrations was used to assess the degradation of microvascular thrombosis. Results Intense fibrin deposition was also detected and FDP concentrations were (78.21?4.79)% and (84.27?6.21)% at 2 and 6 hours after LPS administration in LPS-control group. Little fibrin deposition was detected and FDP concentration also increased in urokinase control group. A lot of fibrin deposition was detected in Low-dose FⅡ group,little fibrin deposition was detected in medium-dose FⅡ group, and no fibrin deposition was detected in high-dose FⅡ group. Objective To assess the efficacy of early detection of breast cancer and the prognostic value of breast self-examination(BSE).Methods Randomized controlled trials(RCTs)involving BSE were included the present meta-analysis based on their qualities.The pooled analysis was performed with RevMany 4.2.8.Results Three RCTs were identified and then they were included the present metaanalysis.In women who conducted a BSE.the rate of biopsy fora lump in breast was 1.27%in the first 5 years,2.47%in more than 5 years but less than or equal to 10 years,and 2.50%in more than 10 years, respectively,all of which were significantly higher than in those who could not conduct a BSE(P<0.05) There was no significant difierence in the rate of final diagnosis and the mortality for breast cancer between the two populations in any follow-up time(P>0.05).Conclusion The rate of biopsy for a lump in breast in women could be increased by a BSE.which should not have been discarded from the early detection of breast cancer completely despite it is not helpful in increasing the rate of final diagnosis and decreasing the mortality for breast cancer.

Objective To investigate the diagnosis and treatments of delayed endolymphatic hydrops(DEH).Methods A restrospective study was conducted in 37 cases of DEH.who were tested with pure tone threshold,vestibular evoked myogenic potentials,high stimulation rate auditory brainstem response audiometry and vestibular ruction test.Conservative drug therapy was the major treatment.Results All the 37 patients had sensorineural hearing loss up to the medium-severe degrees at least.Twenty-five had hearing loss and endolymphatic hydrops on the same side,nine had contralateral type and three bilateral type.Ten cases had abnormal horizontal semicircular canal(HSCC) hydrops and saccular hydrops.Nine cases had abnormal HSCC function and nomal saccular function.Fifteen cases had abnormal saccular function and normal HSCC function.Twenty-five abnomalVEMP showed of loss of p13-n23,prolonged latencies of p13 and depressed amplitude cases with of p13-n23.18 cases were completely relieved from vertigo in a week.17 cases improved until totally relieved in two weeks,while the rest 2 cases that were subject to chemistry labyrinthectomy free of vertigo attack.Conclusion Pure tone threshold,EcochG,bithermal caloric test and vestibular evoked myogenic potentials are important diagnosis methods of delayed endolymphatic hydrops.Consevative drug therapy,especially diuretics and vascular dilation may play a major role in the treatment of delayed endolymphatic hydrops.

Breast cancer is one of the most common malignancies happened in female patients.The incidence of breast cancer in Chinese females has increased in recently years.Human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER-2) exhibits gene amplification or high expression of receptor protein in about one third of breast cancer patients.HER-2 positive breast cancer patients has poor prognosis,high risk of recurrence and short survival.Trastuzumab is a specific inhibitor of human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 [1],which has been widely used in the treatment of HER-2-positive breast cancer patients,and trastuzumab molecular targeting therapy compared with the traditional chemotherapy,with the advantages of high specificity and low toxicity.It changes the natural disease progression of patients with HER-2-positive breast cancer and prolongs the patient's survival time.This article will review the researches on the four aspects,which including the development and the application of trastuzumab in the treatment of HER-2 positive breast cancer.

Objective:To investigate the effect of Vitapex paste in the root canal for deciduous teeth with chronic apical periodontitis.Methods:200 children with chronic apical periodontitis were selected and divided into two groups.The observation group (108 cases)was given Vitapex paste.The control group (92 cases) was given Zinc oxide iodoform paste.The effect of Vitapex paste in root canal for deciduous teeth with chronic apical periodontitis was evaluated by filling quality after 1 month'treatment,the VAS scores before and after treatment,long-term curative effect were compared between two groups.Results:After 1 month'treatment,the suitable filling rate of observation group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).There was no statistical significance in the VAS scores between two groups (P＞0.05).After 1 week'and 1 month'treatment,the pain feeling were alleviated in two groups and significantly lighter in the observation group(P＜0.05).After 6 months' follow-up,the success rate was 96.3％ in the observation group and 87.0％ in the control group,the success rate of observation group was higher than that of the control group (P＜0.05).Conclusion:The filling process of Vitapex paste was simple and easy,which had a good therapeutic effect on chronic apical periodontitis of deciduous teeth and could relieve the toothache of patients.

OBJECTIVE:To estimate the cost-effectiveness of4therapeutic regi mens in the treatment of candidal vaginitis.METHODS:182out-patients with candidal vaginitis in the hospital where the authors worked were randomly di?vided into4groups:baofukang suppository group(A),miconazole suppository+miconazole cream group(B),povidone Iodine ointment group(C),and luohuazizhu suppository group(D),medical economy was applied to analyze the cost-effectiveness.RESULTS:The costs in4groups were56.2yuan,69.4yuan,75.3yuan,and53.9yuan respectively;The effective rates were93.3%,91.3%,91.3,and80.0%respectively;The ratios of cost to effectiveness were0.60,0.76,0.82,and0.67re?spectively;Compared with D,the added cost-effectiveness ratio of A,B,C are0.17,1.37and1.89respectively.CONCLU?SION:Baofukang suppository is a preferable drug to treat candidal vaginitis.
