Objective To investigate the association between HLA-DQ and the susceptibility to toxoplasma among Chongqing Han population.Methods Toxoplasma infected subjects were screened out by cross-sectional survey,then the control subjects were selected through pair matching at the ratio of 1∶1.Polymerase chain reaction and sequence specific primer(PCR/SSP) were used to determine the frequency distribution of HLA-DQ1 and DQ3 in the two groups.Results The gene frequency distribution of DQ3 was increased among the toxoplasma infected individuals as compared with control subjects and the odds ratio(OR) of DQ3 was 4(P0.05).Conclusion HLA-DQ3 may be associated with toxoplasma infection in Chongqing Han population.

AIM:To establish a simple RP-HPLC method for determining levodopa in Mucuna pruriens var.utilis,and study the levodopa content in different parts of Mucuna pruriens var.utilis and in various growth periods two cultispecies(white flower and purpleflower). METHODS: A RP-HPLC method was used for the determination of levodopa on a Polaris RP-C18(250 mm?4.6 mm,5 ?m) column.The mobile phase was methanol-potassium dihydrogne phosphate(10∶90,pH3.38)for seed,flower,leaf,stem and root,and methanol-potassium dihydrogne phosphate(5∶95,pH3.17)for pod.The detection wavelength was at 280 nm,and flow rate was 1 mL/min. RESULTS: The levodopa content in seed and white-flower cultispecies were higher.In the growth periods,the levodopa content was higher in the sample collected when the pod matured and became dry. CONCLUSION: White-flower cultispecies of M.pruriens var.utilis is the good cultispecies.matured and dry pod is the optimal harvesting time for this herbal medicine.

OBJECTIVE:To analyze the drug use in the inpatients undergoing allogenic stem cell transplantation.METHODS:The drug use in 24 inpatients undergoing allogenic stem cell transplantation from 2004 to 2007 were analyzed retrospectively in respect of drug variety and drug cost etc.RESULTS:The average drug cost for the inpatients undergoing stem cell transplantation was(66 418.56?24 381.73)yuan,comprising 61.69% of the total cost of hospitalization.The top 20 drugs in terms of consumption sum were mainly drugs for immune system,drugs affecting hematological and hematopoietic system and anti-tumor drugs etc.The top 20 drugs in terms of DDDs were mainly immunosuppressants,anti-tumor drugs and adjunctive drugs,with DUI ≤1 for the majority of the drugs.CONCLUSION:The drug use in the inpatients undergoing allogenic stem cell transplantation in our hospital was rational on the whole.

Objective To understand the female sex workers and floating population in Yuzhong district of AIDS intervention effect ,To provide the basis for future planning of AIDS intervention in high-risk population .Methods 2011 in Yuzhong area ,By questionnaire survey and serological testing on 400 FSWs and 400 floating population .Results The rate of knowledge about AIDS among female sex workersis was 91 .75% ,higher than the floating population(73 .5% );female sex workers and floating population in a recent condom use rates was 74 .25% and 74 .71% ;the rate of condom insist to use was 48 .25% and 39 .08% ;the rate of Hiv prevalence was 0 .50% and 0 .75% .Conclusion To further increase the female sex workers and floating population coverage of in-terventions ,the role of a bridge cut off the high-risk groups in AIDS transmission of sexual contact ,and has important significance to the spread of AIDS control in Yuzhong District .

BACKGROUND:Articular cartilage is a highly diferentiated tissue, which is very limited in its ability to repair after injury. Stem cel therapy for cartilage repair has completely solved this problem. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the mechanism that diferent growth factors induce the diferentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels into chondrocytes. METHODS:Passage 5 rat bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels were induced by diferent growth factors and their combinations, including transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGF-β1) group, TGF-β1+insulin growth factor-1 (IGF-1) group, and bone morphogenetic protein 2 (BMP-2)+IGF-1 group, TGF-β1+BMP-2 group, TGF-β1+IGF-1+ BMP-2 group, and blank control group. At 21 days of induction, cels were stained with alcian blue and alizarin red; RT-PCR was employed to detect colagen I mRNA expression. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Alcian blue staining showed metachromasia in the cytoplasm and mesenchyma, and proteoglycan was expressed green; alizarin red staining showed no orange calcium nodules. The bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels were preliminarily deduced to diferentiate into chondrocytes, but could not express the cel phenotypes of bone cels. In the blank control group, the expression of colagen I mRNA was negative. Compared with the TGF-β1 group, the mRNA expression of colagen I was lower in the BMP-2+IGF-1 group, but higher in the TGF-β1+BMP-2 group and TGF-β1+IGF-1+BMP-2 group (P < 0.05). Moreover, the expression of colagen I mRNA was highest in the TGF-β1+IGF-1+BMP-2 group (P < 0.05). These findings indicate that TGF-β1 alone is able to induce the chondrogenic diferentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels, and the combination of TGF-β1, IGF-1 and BMP-2 can play the biggest role to induce the chondrogenic diferentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels.

Objective To investigate cytotoxicity and its mechanism of bilirubin on different types of neurons of rat in primary culture. Methods Toxic effect of bilirubin on primary cultured neurons (at cerebellar oranule hippocampal and cortical neurons) was observed. Ncuron survival was detected by fluorescei diacetate (FDA) staining. Measurement of fluorescent intensity of intracellular dilirudin were performed by microspectroflurimetry imaging system. Results Biliruin induced cytotoxicity to different type neurons in a dose-dependent manner. Exposed at 8d to different concentrations of bilirubin (4.3 ?mol/L、8.6 ?mol/L and 17.1 ?mol/L); cerebellar gtanule neuron survival werc (50.1?3.1)%,(18.5?2.3)%, (2.0?2.4)%, cortical neuron survival were (90.7?7.8)%, (85.3?5.3)%,(74.5?2.4)%, and hippocampal neuron survival were (75?6)%, (62?5)%, (49?5)% respectively. The toxic effect of bilirubin on ccrebellar granule neuron was significantly higher than that on hippocampal and cortical neurons. The fluorescent intensity of bilirubin in gra- nule, hippocampal and cortical neurons were 33.4?2.3、10.7?3.0、21.9?4.3 respectively three hours after addition of bilirubin to the medium. Objective To analyse CT signs of lumbar spinal degenerative diseases.Methods CT findings of lumbar spine in 1180 cases with degenerative disease lumbocrural pain were analysed.CT classification of degenerative disease of lumbar spine was carried out according to the lumbar structures in combination with clinical sign.Results Lumbar spinal degenerative disease could be classified into 6 types:intervertebral disc degeneration(degenerative rate 65.3%);lumbar vertebra degeneration(degenerative rate 48.1%);vertebra facet joint degeneration(degenerative rate 36.0%);ligment degeneration(degenerative rate 25.4%) ;degenerative stenosis of lumbar spinal canal(degenerative rate 44.0%);and degenerative lumbar spine unstability(degenerative rate 25.0%).The former 4 types were belonged to primary degeneration of lumbar spine,the latter 2 types were belonged to secondary degeneration of lumbar spine.Conclusion CT classification of lumbar spinal degenerative disease is helpful to clinic in diagnosis and therapy.

Objective To study the Value of low dose CT scanning with gas-contrasted and low window level in diagnosing gastro-colon lesions.Methods 126 cases suspected with gastro-colon lesions were randomly devided into two groups,group A(69 cases) were scanned with conventional water-contrast or non-contrast and conventional expose dose,and with conventional window level,group B(57 cases) were scanned with gas-contrasted and low expose dose,and using low window level.The images were evaluated by 2 experienced radiologists,the results including doctor's self-confidence and diagnostic accurate rate in both group A and group B were compared based on the endoscopic results.Results The diagnostic self-confidence of radiologists and the accurate rate in evaluating the lesions in group B were obviously superior to group A.Conclusion CT scanning of gastro-colon with gas-contrasted,low expose dose and low window level is markedly superior to conventional one.

The toxicity of HCN inhaled via the respiratory tract in dogs and the therapeutic effects of DMAP and AmNO2 for such form of HCN intoxication were studied. The LD50 of HCN when inhaled was 850.4?80.4?g/kg.When the dosage of 2?LD50 of HCN was given to the experimental animals, the signs of intoxication developed rapidly. Uneasiness, struggling, strident barking, and respiratory excitation were observed several seconds after the exposure. Subsequently there was spasm of the extensors and rigidity of the extremities. Finally general inhibition and paralysis ensued. Respiration and heart beat stopped 6 and 7 minutes after exposure. If DMAP (3.25 mg/kg intramuscularly) or AmNO2 (2 ampules through inhalation) was administered 15 seconds after exposure, the survival rate of the animals was 90% or 100% respectively.When the dosage of 4?LD50 of HCN was inhaled and the two drugs were administered 45 seconds after exposure, the survival rate of the animals treated with DMAP remained as high as 90% (9/10) .But the survival rate of those treated with two ampules of AmNO2 or even three ampules reduced to 20% or 40% respectively.The amount of HCN inhaled during respiratory intoxication, the problems of early diagnosis and the administration of DMAP at the site of accident were analyzed and discussed.
