4.Survey of the demands of health knowledge among the military in-patients and countermeasures
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(10):-
Objective: To know the occasion and how the military in-patients understood the contents of health education, to discuss how to conduct the health education pertinently and how to make the military in-patients master the information and skill to get well effectively in a short time. Methods: By referring to literature samples and the main contents of health education of sections in our hospital, we designed a questionnaire including the main contents of health education、the fashion and the occasion of conduction in different phase of hospitalization, together with three subjects and 44 items, and we investigated 312 military in-patients in the way of questionnaire in combination of opening and closing. Results: Military in-patients considered the correlative knowledge of getting well as the shoe pinches of the main contents of health education. The communication between doctors、nurses and pation should be strengthened; Communication through talking and offering written materials were the two primary fashions of health education; The medical personnel and military in-patients disagreed in the time arranging of health education. Conclusion: We suggest the adoption of the educational method of ”advantage health education contents increased by degrees” to conduct health education; paramedic in all levels should pay attention to the feelings of military in patients, pay attention to the rational arrangement of the health education time and contents. We emphasize the training of paramedic's communication skills of talking and writing.
5.Discussion On Scheme For PACS Storage
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(11):-
Objective To layout the storage of hospital Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) in long term. Methods As an example for updating the PACS storage in our hospital, the scheme for PACS storage was presented to show how to improve the storage layout using the existing network topology and hospital information system for future update of storage. Results The selection and determination of scheme for PACS storage is relative to the long-term layout on hospital information construction. Conclusion Reasonable storage of PACS is an essential step in hospital digitization.

7.Oncolytic adenovirus in tumor targeted therapy
Journal of International Oncology 2009;36(11):815-818
Oncolytic adenovirus is known to carry out the transformation of adenovirus, which has kill-ing role on tumor defective gene phenotypes, and Can be used as vector for tumor targeted tbempy drugs. At pres-ent,H101 and dl1520 and other biological products are gained from adenovirus type 5-specific gene fragments, which targeted tumor cell defects in the p53 gene expression, can specifically recognize tumor cells and Carry out proliferation and lysis of tumor cells. These biological products can be used as vectors to carry the anti-tumor genes and result in more powerful anti-tumor effects.
8.Advance in glutathione S-transferase kappa 1
Journal of Central South University(Medical Sciences) 2017;42(4):468-475
Glutathione S-transferase kappa 1 (GSTK1) is a key regulator for adiponectin secretion and multimerization. In Caenorhabditis elegans,GSTK1 is involved in energy production and lipid metabolism.Meanwhile, the GSTK1 level is negatively correlated with obesity. It may alleviate the endoplasmic reticulum stress-mediated downregulation of adiponectin. Moreover,a polymorphism in human GSTK1 promoter is related with insulin secretion and fat deposition.Therefore,GSTK1 might be a novel target for the treatment of insulin resistance and the relevant metabolic diseases.
9.ARCHITECTURE OF THE PARABRACHIAL NUCLEUS IN THE RABBIT
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1957;0(04):-
The brainstems of 6 rabbits were cut transversely in series and stained fornerve cells or myelin. The architecture of the parabrachial nucleus was studied.Be-sides general observation the length and width of 100 nerve cells in each of the 5nuclear areas chosen were measured and analysed statistically with the help of adigital computer. The following items were calculated:ratio of length to width, itsmean and 95% tolerance interval;area of nerve cells, its mean and 95% toleranceinterval;80% elliptical contour of normal bivariates for the length and width of thecells;cluster analysis of the more dispersed nuclear areas and 80% elliptical contourof each cluster. We concluded that the parabrachial complex consists mainly of 3 nuclei, viz.medial parabrachial nucleus, lateral parabrachial nucleus and magnocellularparabrachial nucleus.Dorsal to the medial parabrachial nucleus there is asmall area, which was tentatively called“d”area in the present study. The medial parabrachial nucleus lies medial to the brachium conjunctivum. Its cells are more or less round in shape, varying markedly in size and canbe clustered into 3 groups according to their size. The lateral parabrachial nucleusis located lateral to the brachium conjunctivum. Its cells are smaller than those ofthe medial nucleus, mostly spindle in shape. Some larger cells can also be seen scat-tered among the smaller ones and the process of clustering has yielded 2 groups ofcells. The magnocellular parabrachial nucleus can be seen in the middle range ofthe nuclear complex. It lies ventrolateral to the brachium conjunctivum with denselypacked large round cells. Its demarkation with the surroundings is sharp.A dorsalextension of this nucleus can be seen wedging between the brachium conjunctivumand the lateral parabrachial nucleus. Its cells are also large and compacted but arespindle in shape.Cells of the“d”area are small and round. Its relation with eitherthe medial or the lateral parabrachial nucleus remain unsettled. The relation between the parabrachial nucleus and the K(?)lliker-Fuse nucleuswas discussed.
10.Clinical efficacy of Si Ling San in treatment of acute central serous chorioretinopathy
International Eye Science 2017;17(9):1773-1776
AIM:To investigate the clinical effects of traditional Chinese medicine, Si Ling San, on acute central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC).METHODS:We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 48 patients (48 eyes) with CSC, among whom 24 were given oral Si Ling San (as treatment group) and the other 24 did not receive any treatment (control group). The baseline and 1 or 3mo follow-up data for the best corrected visual acuity (BCVA), central macular thickness (CMT) and maximum height of subretinal fluid (SRF) were collected and then compared between the two groups.RESULTS:BCVA of the treatment group was not statistically different from the baseline level at 1mo (P>0.05), but it was significantly improved at 3mo (P<0.05).BCVA was better at 3mo than that at 1mo(P<0.05).In the control group, however, no significant improvement of BCVA was found at 1 or 3mo compared with baseline (both P>0.05).The BCVA of the two groups was not significantly different at baseline and 1 and 3mo follow-up (all P>0.05).In the treatment group CMT and SRF at 1 and 3mo were significantly lower than baseline (both P<0.05).CMT and SRF at 3mo were significantly lower than that at 1 month (both P<0.05).In the control group, CMT and SRF at 1mo were not different from baseline level (both P>0.05), while they were significantly decreased at 3mo follow-up (both P<0.05).CMT and SRF at 3mo were significantly lower than that at 1mo (both P<0.05).In addition, CMT and SRF of the treatment group at both 1 and 3mo were statistically lower than that of the control group (all P<0.05).CONCLUSION:This study preliminary suggest that oral Si Ling San has the potential to treat acute CSC.But further trials are warranted to study its role in improving the visual function, shortening the duration and reducing the recurrence of CSC.
