1.Study on Pharmacokinetics of Mussaenoside in Rats

This article was aimed to study the pharmacokinetics of mussaenoside in rats. Gardenoside was used as the internal standard in the content determination of mussaenoside in rat plasma with HPLC. The chromatographic conditions were Diamonsil C18 (2) column (150 mm í 4.6 mm, 5 μm), mobile phase of methanol:0.5% glacial acetic acid (30:70), flow amount of 1.0 ml/min, detection wavelength at 238 nm, column temperature at 30℃. Compartment model fitting of average plasma concentration in rats - time data had been conducted after mussaenoside was given to mice through single intravenous injection with the help of DAS 2.0 pharmacokinetics intelligence analysis software. The results showed that the plasma concentration using 2-comparment model intravenous injection calculation method, which corresponded well to that of actually measured (weighting of 1), was proved superior to other models. The distribution half-life time (t1/2α) was 9.892 min and the elimination half-life time (t1/2β) was 55.384 min. It was concluded that the established method was convenient, accurate and stable, which can be used for the study on phar-macokinetics of mussaenoside. Mussaenoside was distributed rapidly in the body of rats. The main process of mus-saenoside in the body of rats was elimination. The metabolic rate was at moderate speed.
2.Nosocomial Acquired Pneumonia in Elderly Patients with Cerebral Apoplexy

OBJECTIVE To investigate the clinical features of nosocomial acquired pneumonia in elderly patients with apoplexy.METHODS A retrospective study was carried out to investigate the clinical data of 724 elderly patients with apoplexy in Department of Neurology during Jan 1st,2003 to Dec 31st,2005.RESULTS The nosocomial acquired pneumonia rate was 12.26%.The nosocomial infection rate in patients with cerebral hemorrhage and cerebral infarction was 23.79% and 6.48%,respectively.The incidence rate of nosocomial acquired pneumonia was related positively to long time in hospital,underlying disease severity,consciousness,swallow,preventive antibiotic therapy and diabetes.CONCLUSIONS More attention should be paid in clinical treatment and nursing care in order to lowering the occurrence of the nosocomial acquired pneumonia.
3.Application of M-bus to concentrated oxygen supply data acquisition and measurement

This paper introduces a kind of design scheme with the application of M-bus to concentrated oxygen supply data acquisition and measurement.The method to integrate all kinds of consumable equipments and products of different companies is also presented.It is proved that the data acquisition system by M-bus can be applied to concentrated oxygen supply data acquisition and measurement in hospital.
4.The value of transnasal esophagogastrodudenoscopy in clinical application

Objective To evaluate the value of the transnasal esophagogastrodudenoseopy(EGD)in clinical diagnosis and therapy.Methods The study includes 1000 patients referred for diagnostic and therapie EGD.All patients were received the examination after 2%lidocaine was administered into the uaris.We obtained biopsy specimens from 824 patients.Results Among the 1000 patients,971 were completed successfully by transnasal EGD,and the remaining was completed by classical transoral EGD.During the examination,we extracted the esopha6eal foreign body in two patients.and performed the pyloric stenting in one patient.Enteral feeding tubes were placed in 18 pafients.We found that the endoscopic manifestation is consistent with the histopathologic examination(the concordance rate is 84%).Conclusion The transnasal EGD has the goodish value in the clinical diagnosis and therapy.
5.THE ANTIOXIDATIVE ACTION OF MALTOL ON AUTO-OXIDATION OF ERYTHROCYTES

The effect of maltol to prevent erythrocyte from auto-oxidation is presented. When erythrocytes were incubated at 37 ℃ for 24 h in vitro, oxyhemoglobin was decreased, methemoglobin, superoxide freeradical, lipofuscin and Heinz's body were increased as well as membrane proteins were changed. These reactions could be inhibited by maltol.
6.The Effects of Preoperative Bronchial Arterial Infusion Chemotherapy for Stage III_A NSCLC

Objective To evaluate preoperative bronchial atery infusion(PBAI) chemotherapy combined with surgery for patients with stage III A non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC). Methods Seldinger procedure was used to insert the tube to bronchial artery branch which supplied blood to the tumor. The chemotherapeutic drugs were infused through the tube. After 1~3 courses of PBAI chemotherapy, the patients received operation. The patients receiving surgical treatment without PBAI chemotherapy at the corresponding period were chosen as control group. The radical resection rate and survival rate of the two groups were analyzsed. Objective To analyze the clinical effects of internal radiation of iodine-125 seed implantation in the treatment of advanced pancreatic carcinoma.Methods 22 patients with unresectable and advanced pancreatic carcinoma were treated by the internal and interstitial radiation using iodine-125 seed implantation.Results Survival of 20 months was observed in 5 patients,10 ~ 20 months in 9 patients,2 ~10 months in 8,patients with an average of (13.47 ± 8.12) months.Among the 22 patients,complete response was obtained in 5 patients,partial response in 8 patients,no response in 7 paticnts,and the other showing PD.The response rate( CR + PR) was 59%.Conclusions Intra - operative internal radiation by iodine - 125 seed implantation does show some therapeutic effects for advanced pancreatic carcinoma.

Objective: To investigate the mechanism that glutamine downregulates the cytokine expression in lipopolysaccharide-stimulated human peripheral blood mononuclear cells.Methods:PMBC were extracted from healthy volunteer by density gradient centrifugation,and stimulated by lipopolysaccharide.The release of TNF-α and IL-10 was analyzed via enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and p-P38 via western blot. Results:Gln led to an increase in HSP70 expression,and decreased TNF-α、IL-10 release at 4 h after LPS stimulation.The expressions level of TNF-α、IL-10 and P-P38 were decreased after using SB203580.Conclusion:These results indicate that the effect of Gln could attenuate cytokine release in PBMC and might may be related to the inhibition of P38 MAPK.
9.Protein disulfide isomerase’s role in cardiovascular disease

Protein disulfide isomerase (PDI) is one of thiol-disulfide oxidoreductases that mainly located in the endo?plasmic reticulum (ER). It is generally known that PDI caralyzes the formation,rearrangement,breakage of disulfide bonds, and this enzyme is effective in regulation of protein folding. Now it is also known as a biomarker of cardiovascular disease. Protein disulfide isomerase can reduce infarct size and myocardial apoptosis in acute myocardial infarction (AMI). PDI can also improve changes of cardiac vulnerability in diabetic cardiomyopathy (DCM). Further more, it is also shown that PDI play an important role in hypertension and thrombosis. Therefore, this paper review the effects of protein disulfide isomerase in cardiovascular diseases.
10.Expression of TLR4 and TLR7 protein in cervical squamous cell carcinoma

Objective To study the changes of Toll like receptor 4,7 (TLR4,TLR7) protein in cervical squamous cell carcinoma ( CSCC) tissues and the relationship between expression and clinical pathological characteristics of the patients. Methods A total of 67 pa-tients with CSCC carcinoma( CSCC group) ,30 patients with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia( CIN group) and 30 patients with normal cervi-cal tissues(normal group) were detected by immunohistochemical method. The expression of TLR4,TLR7 protein and its clinical pathological characteristics of patients with CSCC in the samples were analyzed. Results TLR4,TLR7 protein positive rate of CSCC group were respec-tively 80. 60% and 76. 12%,which were significantly higher than those of CIN group (46. 67%,40. 00%) and the normal group(13. 33%, 10. 00%),the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05). TLR4,TLR7 protein positive expression rate in CIN group was significantly higher than that in the normal group (P<0. 05). The positive expression of TLR4 protein and CSCC in patients with FIGO stage,pathological grade,depth of invasion had a significant relationship(P<0. 05),pathological grade,the positive expression of TLR7 protein and CSCC in pa-tients with invasive depth had a significant relationship(P<0. 05). Conclusion There is increased expression of TLR4,TLR7 protein in cervical tissues of CSCC patients,and a certain relationship between the factors and clinical staging,pathological grading.
