Objective To detect the genetic amplification and protein expression characteristics of aurora-A in ovarian cancer and to interpret the role of aurora-A gene in course of onset, progression and regression phases of ovarian cancer. Methods The amplification of aurora-A gene was detected by quantitative PCR in 6 normal ovarian tissues and 8 ovarian cancer samples, and its protein expression was examined by immunohistochemistry in 6 normal ovarian tissues and 40 ovarian cancer samples, furthermore, the relationships between over-expression of aurora-A protein in ovarian cancer tissue and its pathologic classification, tissue differentiation, clinical phase, tumor proliferation trait and prognosis were analyzed. Results Quantitive PCR showed that aurora-A mRNA was significantly higher in 8 ovarian cancer samples than that in normal ovarian tissues(P0.05).Conclusion There are abnormal amplification and protein over-expression of aurora-A in ovarian cancer tissue,aurora-A probably play an important role in the onset and progression of ovarian cancer, and the novel biological treatment concerning aurora-A gene and its protein is probably a useful route for curing tumor.

Objective To evaluate the cancer risk among the inhabitants around a certain nuclear facility of Gansu Province after operation for nearly 50 years. Methods Specially developed forms were filled by countryside doctors in the villages 30 km on the leeward or at the lower reaches of Yumen City,Gansu Province where a nuclear facility had operated for nearly 50 years,to register the relevant data of those who died of solid cancer and leukemia during the period from 1 January 2004 to 31 December 2008 based on the relevant data and household survey.A town 90 km away from the nuclear facility with 4181 people were regarded as control area. Results The crude mortality and standardized mortality rate(SMR) of cancer were 95.51×10-5 and 93.56×10-5.respectively.The crude mortality and SMR of leukemia were 2.44×10-05 and 2.22×10-05, respectively.and the crude mortality and SMR of cancer were 106.88×10-05, and 89.31×10-5, respectively. The crude mortality and SMR of leukemia were 2.44×10-05 and 2.22×10-5, respectively in the investigated area, and the crude mortality of leukemia was 3.56×10-5 (only one leukemia cage died)in the control area in the same time. The cancer and leukemia mortality rates of the investigated area were similar to those of control area. Conclusions Nuclear facility does not significantly increase the cancer mortality among the residents living nearby.

Objective:To explore the effect of mind mapping combined with continuous quality improvement in the teaching of interns in gastroenterology department. Methods:The 55 students who interned in the gastroenterology department of our hospital from September 2019 to January 2020 were set as the control group and adopted traditional teaching methods; the other 54 students who interned in the gastroenterology department of our hospital from February 2020 to June 2020 were set as the control group; 55 students who interned in the gastroenterology department of our hospital from July 2020 to November 2020 were set as a combined group, and received mind mapping combined with continuous quality improvement teaching. The gastroenterology knowledge and theory assessment results, practical skills operation assessment results and learning initiative, self-study ability, comprehensive thinking ability, teamwork ability, analysis and problem-solving ability, induction and summary ability and so on were compared between the two groups, and the teaching satisfaction rate at the time of leaving the department were also compared. SPSS 20.0 was used for t test and chi-square test. Results:Before the training, there was no statistically significant difference in the three groups of theoretical assessment scores, practical skills operation assessment scores and various ability scores. When leaving the department, the theoretical assessment scores of the combined group and the mind mapping group were (89.74±4.18) points and (86.52±3.72) points, and the performance evaluation scores of practical skills were (90.04±4.86) points and (87.46±4.52) points, respectively. The theoretical evaluation scores and practical skills evaluation scores of the two groups were higher than those of the control group, and the combined group was higher than the mind mapping group, with statistically significant differences ( P<0.05). The scores of various abilities of the combined group and the mind mapping group were higher than those of the control group, and the scores of all indicators in the combined group were higher than those of the mind mapping group, with statistical significance ( P<0.05). The total teaching satisfaction of combined group and mind mapping group was higher than that of the control group, and the total teaching satisfaction of the combined group was higher than that of the mind mapping group. Conclusion:Mind mapping combined with continuous quality improvement has a significant effect on the teaching of gastroenterology interns, which can improve students' abilities and the teaching satisfaction.

Objective:
To investigate occupational health status about radiation workers from township hospitals in Gansu, China, and to explore the dose-effect relationship of exposure dose of radiation workers.
Methods:
A total of 390 X-ray workers from township hospitals in Gansu Province and 450 X-ray workers from the county/district-level hospitals in the county/district where the township hospitals were located were divided into research group and control group. Their workload, radiation protection condition, and occupational health monitoring data were used for impact assessment and risk estimation.
Results:
The annual workload of radiation workers from township hospitals was 845.33±361.622 people, and that of radiation workers from county/district-level hospitals was 1967.74±762.055 people; there was a significant difference in annual workload between the two groups of subjects (
