2.Study on transvaginal hydrolaparoscopic pelvic adhesiolysis in the infertile women
Chinese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2009;44(11):812-815
Objective To investigate the safety and efficacy of transvaginal hydrolaparoscopic pelvic adhesiolysis (THLPA) treatment in the infertile women. Methods From May 2007 to Sep.2008,30 infertile patients underwent THLPA.The dye-test,hysteroscopy,and dye-test using catheterization of tubal ostium by hysteroscopy were performed at the same time.Pelvic adhesions were scored according to the revised American Fertility Society classification of endometriosis (1985).The adhesions were graded as mild (score 1-9),moderate (10-19),and severe (≥20).Twenty-four cases were in mild adhesions,5 moderate adhesions, and 1 severe adhesion. The duration of the operation and discharge, pelvic adhesions score, tubal patency, complications, and pregnancy rate were investigated. Results (1) THPLA:the majority of pelvic adhesions in all patients were successfully performed adhesiolysis.Only a little filmy adhesions of proximal peritube of 7 tubes and proper ligament of 5 ovaries and cohesive adhesions of 4 ovaries did not underwent surgical lysis.(2) Tubal patency:35 tubes were of proximal occlusion by dye-test,of which 21 (60%,21/35) were unobstructed and 4 (11%,4/35) were partly unobstructed after the dye-test using catheterization of the tubal ostium by hysteroscopy.(3) The duration of operation:the overall operative time were (32±6) minutes in mild adhesion,(52± 6) minutes in moderate adhesion, and 83 minutes in severe adhesion.Of which the time of THLPA were (11±5) minutes in mild adhesion,(35±7)minutes in moderate adhesion, and 62 minutes in severe adhesion,respectively.(4)The duration of discharge:the postoperative discharge time was 120-175 minutes. No complications occurred.(5)The rate of pregnancy:in the (15.8±4.3) months' follow-up,the rate of pregnancy was 45% (13/29),which one patient lost follow-up.Conclusions THLPA is safe, efficacious and not being hospitalized management. When compared with laparoscopy,it is simpler, more economic, and less minimally invasive approach. The appropriate indication of THLPA is to treat filmy, especially mild pelvic adhesions. It could partly avoid transabdominal operative laparoscopy for the infertile women.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2004;0(02):-
Tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand(TRAIL) is a recently identified cytokine of apoptosis that selectively induces the apoptosis of various tumor cells but not normal cells. The members of this family known to date are TRAIL and its five related receptors.TRAIL and its receptors are expressed in ovarian malignant tumor cells and can induce their apoptosis. Many chemotherapeutic agents can enhance TRAIL-induced apoptosis of malignant tumor cells,so TRAIL-induced cytotoxicity holds a powerful promise in the fight against ovarian malignant tumor.

Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2010;08(4):222-225
Objective: To investigate the effect of combined acupuncture and rehabilitation on intelligence and motor development of high risk infants with perinatal brain injuries. Methods: Ninety-seven survived cases in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) were allocated into a treatment group of 53 cases and a control group of 44 cases following the consent of the parents. Cases in the treatment group were treated by combined acupuncture and rehabilitation; whereas cases in the control group were treated by conventional child care methods. Systemic follow-up has been made for 2 years. Then the infants' intelligence was evaluated respectively in the 6th, 12th and 34th months. Results: Compared with the control group, the mental development indexes (MDI) and physical development indexes (PDI) in the treatment group were increased by 14.96 and 9.82 respectively. There was a significant difference (X2=8.1659, P<0.01) in the abnormal intelligence rates between the treatment group (15.1%) and the control group (40.9%,). Conclusion: Combined acupuncture and rehabilitation can effectively improve the mental and physical development of high-risk infants with perinatal brain injuries. Additionally, this therapy can decrease the disability rates and increase the infants' quality of life.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of 0.1% tacrolimus ointment and 0.1% mometasone furoate cream in the treatment of chronic actinic dermatitis (CAD). Methods Forty male patients with CAD were recruited and divided into two groups randomly.Twenty cases were treated with 0.1%tacrolimus ointment (Group A), and the other 20 cases were treated with 0.1% mometasone furoate cream (Group B) . The medications mentioned were applied topically to the lesions on the face twice a day and mizolastine tablet 10 mg per day given orally for 4 weeks. The therapeutic efficacy and side effects of medications were observed. The enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method was used to measure the serum levels of IFN-γ, IL-2 and IL12 in CAD patients before and after treatment with topical tacrolimus ointment and mometasone furoate cream. Results (1) Both groups had overall response rates of 100%, with no statistically significant difference ( > 0.05) . (2) Serum levels of IFN-γ,IL-2 and IL-12 were down-regulated after treatment in both treatment groups respectively ( < 0.01) . No statistically significant difference was found between the two treatment groups ( > 0.05) . Conclusion 0.1%tacrolimus ointment is effective in the treatment of CAD. Its therapeutic efficacy is equivalent to that of 0.1%mometasone furoate cream. It can be used as a possible steroid sparing equivalent.

OBJECTIVE: To observe the protective effects of Corydalis ambailis migo total alkaloids (COAMTA) on cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury in rats and to investigate its mechanism. METHODS: The effects of COAMTA on decapitated gasping mouse model and rat model of middle cerebral artery ischemia (2 h)/reperfusion (22 h) were observed. The neurological scale, cerebral infarcted volume and cerebral water content subjected to cerebral middle artery ischemia/reperfusion in rats were recorded. The activities of nitric oxide synthase (NOS) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) and the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) in the ratso brain were measured. Cell apoptosis in ischemic penumbral area was observed with light microscope in the method of terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase mediated dUTP-biotin nick end labeling (TUNEL). RESULTS: The average gasping time of the mice (6.0 mg/kg or 9.0 mg/kg COAMTA) was significantly prolonged, the cerebral infarcted volume and cerebral water content of the rats (5.0 mg/kg or 7.5 mg/kg COAMTA) were significantly decreased, as compared with the control groups. The average activity of SOD in cerebral tissue of the rats (5.0 mg/kg or 7.5 mg/kg COAMTA) was significantly higher than that of the control groups, meanwhile, the average activity of NOS and the content of MDA declined significantly. The cell apoptosis in ischemic penumbral area of the rats (5.0 mg/kg COAMTA) was significantly inhibited as compared with the control groups. CONCLUSION: COAMTA can facilitate the protection against cerebral ischemia/reperfusion damage. The mechanism is related to inhibiting the activity of NOS and lipoperoxidation, increasing the activity of SOD and decreasing the neuronal apoptosis.

Chinese Journal of Health Policy 2016;9(12):23-28
This article is based on a questionnaire survey of healthcare professional organizations and interview leaders of them. The results of this investigation show that the number of staff is small, and lack of highly qualified human resources. The organizations rely on donation for income and some of them run at a deficit. The functions such as professional self-discipline are not well performed. The analysis reveals four reasons why functions are not well per-formed:the bureaucratic style of the professional organizations and unclear legal status;the limited authorization from legal and administrative bodies;the defects in the governance system and the lack of capacity. Four aspects of policy recommendations are were proposed: to clearly define the role of the professional organizations and authorization through legal and administrative procedures; to strengthen support of professional organizations through various poli-cies;to improve governance and build comprehensive regulation mechanisms;to enhance the capacity of these organi-zations and so on.
