ObjectiveTo explore the factors related to infections of intravenous catheter as well as preventive measures.MethodsIn 598 cases of patients with central venous catheterization,indwelling time,location,bacteriology were monitored among 130 patients with suspected venous catheter infection.ResultsIndwelling catheter lasts for 3 days at least,70 days at most.For 77 out of toual cases,microbiology culture of catheter tip and blood culture were positive,accounting for 12.88％.Detected pathogens were 151 in total.Gram-negative bacteria were 48(31.79％),gram-positive bacteria were 78(50.65％),fungal were 25 (16.56％).Among these,the most common pathogens were Staphylococcus epidermidis,Staphylococcus aureus,Candida and Acinetobacter,most of the bacteria had a high degree of drug resistance.The choice of position:infection rate of subclavian vein and basilic vein was lower than that of the superclavian vein and internal jugular vein,infection rate of catheterization time ≤ 13d was lower than that of ≥ 14d.ConclusionsThe choice of subclavian vein and basilic vein,standardization of puncture technical,strict catheter care,shortening of catheterization time and improvement of the general condition of patients can reduce catheter-reiated infections.The rational use of antibiotics is a critical measure to reduce vascular catheter infections of patients.

Objective To study the diagnostic significance of the gray degree of lip-around and facial edge skin on the spleen-stomach symptoms.Methods With the International ColorCheck,160 cases of facial digital images were got from physical examination groups.The gray degree of the upper and lower lip-around and facial edge skin were judged.Questionnaires of spleen-stomach symptoms were also collected from the people.Results Logistic results showed that the dark upper lip-around skin were closely related with dry mouth,stomach pain,etc; the dark lower lip-around skin were closely related with hiccups,etc; the dark facial edge skin were closely related with bloating- afternoon,bad-breath,vomiting,cool-stomach,the thick white fur and so on.Conclusion The gray degree of lip-around and facial edge skin implied the status of the spleen and stomach function,which could be used as diagnostic indicators for spleen and stomach symptoms.

Objective To obtain the fatal aortic isthmic systolic index(ISI)with prenatal ultrasound,and to establish reference ranges for normal live fatal aortic isthmic systolic index(ISI). Methods A total of 251 normal fetuses at 18?37 gestation weeks were collected and underwent Dop?pler ultrasound examination to obtain the fatal aortic isthmus waveforms. Peak systolic velocity(PSV)and systolic nadir(NS)were measured on the waveforms. ISI was derived from the ratio NS/PSV,and its relationship with gestational weeks was analyzed. Results ISI value was between 0.19 and 0.21,from 18 to 24 gestational weeks. As the gestational weeks increasing,PSV increased;however,NS decreased gradually. At about 28 weeks,a brief end?systolic deceleration wave was observed on the aortic isthmus waveforms,and this trend led to ISI towards a mean value of zero at about 30 weeks. At the end of pregnancy,ISI was about-0.33. The curve equations were established regarding the gestational age as the independent variable X,PSV,NS and ISI as the dependent variable Y respectively. Conclusion Prenatal ultrasound can measure the fetal aortic isthmic systolic index,which is helpful in the diagnosis of fetal cardiovascular anomalies and evaluation of fetal intrauterine status.

Objective To evaluate the effects of nutritional intervention on the incidence of malnutrition in patients on maintenance hemodialysis (MHD).Methods Totally 196 patients on MHD were randomly assigned to nutritional intervention group (n =98) and control group (n =98).Nutritional intervention or free diet were given in these two groups.The incidence of malnutrition in these two groups was recoded.Results The baseline age,biochemical indicators,and incidence of malnutrition were matched in these two groups (P ＞0.05).After 6 months,although the number of the patients with malnutrition [35.7％ (35/98)] was slightly increased in the intervention group,it showed no significant difference when compared with the baseline level [33.7％ (33/98),P ＞0.05].In the control group,however,the incidence of malnutrition [59.2％ (58/98)] significantly increased (P ＜0.05).The incidence of malnutrition was significantly lower in the intervention group than in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Nutritional intervention can lower the incidence of malnutrition in patients on MHD.

Objective To study the curative effect and mechanism of moxibustion on heat-sensitive acupoints combined with Erwei Badu Powder in the treatment of elderly herpes zoster (HZ) with type of stagnant heat of liver channel. Methods Sixty-five patients with HZ were randomly divided into treatment group (35 cases) and control group (30 cases). Two groups were orally given Longdan Xiegan Decoction and aciclovir conventionally, the treatment group was given moxibustion additionally on heat-sensitive acupoints combined with Erwei Badu Powder, and the control group was only given external application of Erwei Badu Powder for 10 days. The symptom scores, levels of T lymphocyte subsets and serum interleukin-2 (IL-2) were observed before and after treatment, the curative effect was evaluated, and PHN was followed up. Results The effective rate was 85.71%(30/35) in the treatment group and 66.67%(20/30) in the control group. The curative effect of treatment group surpassed the control group (P<0.05). Incidence of PHN was lower (P<0.01). The levels of CD4, CD4/CD8, and IL-2 increased and the level of CD8 decreased significantly in two groups compared with those before treatment (P<0.05). All indexes were better in the treatment group than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The curative effect of moxibustion on heat-sensitive acupoints combined with Erwei Badu Powder in treatment of elderly HZ is better than that of Erwei Badu Powder only, particularly in reducing the occurrence of PHN, improving neuralgia and insomnia. The mechanism may be related to increasing levels of CD4, CD4/CD8 and IL-2, and improvement of body’s cell-mediated immunity.

Objective To summarize the perioperative nursing care of the elderly patients with hip fracture.Methods There were 95 elderly patients with hip fractures admitted to hospital and received the fixation of artificial joint replacement and preoperative and postoperative nursing care from June 2010 to September 2013.Results Ninety-five patients were recovered and discharged from the hospital. They had stayed the hospital for 11 to 28 days and the average time was(17.5±2.5)d.One patient had developed pneumonia after surgery and one patient had incision infection.After treatment both patients were cured.Conclusions When the elderly patients with hip fracture stayed in the hospital,the nurses should give them good care.The nurses should provide them with mental care based on their psychological and physiological characteristics,help the patients to prevent the complications,guide the patients through rehabilitation training,enhance daily living and promote the patients’health as soon as possible.

Objective To optimize extraction technology for volatile oil of Pogostemon cablin in the second traditional veterinary drugs anti-stress granule.Methods The single factor was used to investigate the concentration and amount of the ethanol before inclusion of volatile oil.The L9(34) orthogonal design was used to optimize the factors in the process of inclusion.Results The optimal of technology method was that volatile oil was dissolved with 95% EtOH by 1:20(mL/mL),the ratio of oil and ?-CD was 1:8,?-CD was prepared the concentration of 10%,ultrasound pool was at 40 ℃,2.0 h.Conclusion The optimized process is stable and adjustable quality.

Conclusion The changes of ash bark bacteriostasis were basically identical with known coumarin component content. Aglycone bacteriostasis of ash bark was superior to glycoside, fraxetin and aesculetin bacteriostasis were most powerful in 5 kinds of coumarin monomer.

Objective To verify and evaluate the methodological performance of chemiluminesent micropaticle immunoassay(CMIA) in the ARCHITECT i2000SR analyzer for detecting estradiol(E2),progesterone(Prog),luteinizing hormone(LH),follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),prolactin(PRL) and testosterone(Tes).Methods The precision,accuracy,linearity range,reference interval and low detection limit in the 6-indicator sex hormones detection were verified according to the CLSI related documents.The results were compared with the performance indicators or acceptable quality target claimed by the manufacturer.Results The within-run imprecision of 6-indicator sex hormones was ≤2.62%,the total imprecision was ≤3.17%.Accuracy was within ±9.41%.The slope(a) within linearity was 1.00 ±0.05,and the correlation coefficient(r2) was >0.995.The coincidence rate of reference interval was ≥90%.The low detection limits were less than the indicator claimed by the manufacturer.Conclusion The methodological performance of 6-indicator sex hormones detected by the ARCHITECT i2000SR analyzer is satisfactory,reliable in detection results and suitable for clinical needs.
