ObjectiveTo determine the relationship between the expression of bax and bcl-2 gene in mucous adenocarcinoma of rectum and patient′s prognosis.MethodsImmunohistochemical method was used to evaluate monoclone antibody of bax and bcl-2 protein in 38 cases of mucous adenocarcinoma of the rectum. ResultsThe positive-staining rate of bax was 77.8% in Dukes′ A and B stage compared to 45.0% in Dukes′ C stage( ? 2=4.260,P=0.039).The intensity of positive-staining of bax over bcl-2 was significantly correlated with tumor stage(P=0.04) and the survival (P=0.001).ConclusionThe expression rate of bax and bcl-2 gene was very high in mucous adenocarcinoma of large bowel, and it might have a prognosis implications in patients with colonic mucous adenocarcinoma.

Objective To investigate the manifestations of cardiac involvement in the patients with mucopolysacharidosis Ⅰ (MPS Ⅰ).Methods The clinical data of 10 MPS Ⅰ patients were collected.Electrocardiography (ECG) and echocardiography (Echo) were performed in all patients and then analyzed.Results Among the ten patients,seven were men.The onset age of MPS was (0.5 ～ 8.0) years old and the age of diagnosis was (1.8 ～ 20.0) years old.Two patients had grade 2 precordial systolic murmur.ECG was abnormal in three patients with right ventricular hypertrophy in two and right axis deviation in another one.Echo showed valvular thickening and insufficiency in nine patients,enlarged left atrium and ventricle in one patient,hapulmonary hypertension and right ventricular hypertrophy in two patients and abnormal left ventricular configuration in five patients.Conclusions Cardiac involvement is common in MPS Ⅰ patients and may present as valvular thickening with regurgitation,abnormal left ventricular configuration and pulmonary hypertension.The cardiac involvement progresses with age.ECG and Echo should be done regularly during follow-up of MPS Ⅰ patients.

Methods The qualitative analysis of piceid and emodin are taken by TLC, and content of emodin was determined by TLCS and HPLC. Results The contents of emodin significantly increased in samples fried with rice wine, vinegar and salt compared with the crude. Conclusion Different methods and ajuvants made a certain influence on the contents of emotion in P. cuspidatum.

Double-stranded oligomeric nucleotide encoding PEP-1 peptides was synthesized, prokaryotic expression pET15b-pep-1-p27mt recombinant constructed, E. coli BL21 (DE3)pLysS transformed and induced with IPTG to highly express fusion protein PEP-1-P27mt. Fusion protein with an N-terminal His-tag could be purified by Ni2+-resin affinity chromatography and identified by SDS-PAGE and Western blotting. Cultured EC9706 cells treated with PEP-1-P27mt revealed that PEP-1-P27mt was transduced into cells after 15 min and reached maximal intracellular concentrations in 2 h. PEP-1-P27mt of 1 micromol/L final concentration could most strongly suppress the growth. It was suggested that PEP-1 can carry P27mt across membrane, which provides a new biological protocol for using cyclin dependent kinase inhibitors p27mt in suppressing the growth of tumor cells.

Objective To assess the effects of 7,8-dihydroxyflavone (7,8-DHF) on the striatum (ST) in normal cynomolgus monkeys using 99Tcm-TRODAT-1 imaging.Methods A total of six healthy female cynomolgus monkeys were included in this study.Three of them were fed with normal food (control group),and the other three were given oral administration of 7,8-DHF in addition to normal food (experimental group).The SPECT/CT imaging was performed at different time after 99Tcm-TRODAT-1 injection.The ROI of ST was drawn on images of 3 consecutive transverse slices that could be visualized best.The cerebellum (CB) was taken as the background reference area.The radioactivity uptake ratios of ST/CB at 1,3,4 and 5 h were calculated respectively.Paired-t test was used to analyze the data.Results ST radioactive uptake ratios showed continuing increase on the delay images.ST/CB uptake ratios of the control group at 1,3,4 and 5 h were 1.43±0.04,1.82±0.06,2.04±0.12,2.42±0.23,respectively,and those of the experimental group were 1.35±0.08,2.40±0.09,2.74±0.13 and 3.25±0.15 respectively.There was no significant difference between the two groups at 1 h (t =2.57,P＞0.05),while ST/CB uptake ratios of the experimental group at 3,4 and 5 h were significantly higher (t values:2.77,2.87 and 2.92,all P＜0.05).Conclusion 99Tcm-TRODAT-1 SPECT/CT imaging can be used to assess the DAT activation effect by 7,8-DHF on ST of cynomolgus monkeys.

Objective To evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of hook plate and fascia lata graft in management of chronic acromioclavicular joint dislocation.Methods From May 2012 to March 2014,a total of 16 cases of chronic acromioclavicular joint dislocation (Rockwood type Ⅲ) were treated with hook plate and fascia lata graft.They were 10 men and 6 women,from 19 to 57 years of age (mean,34.7 years).Seven cases were at the left side and 9 at the right side.All injuries resulted from direct violence.The time from injury to surgery ranged from 8 to 54 weeks (mean,12.4 weeks).At the final follow-ups,the shoulder function was assessed using the Quick Version of the Disabilities of the Arm,Shoulder and Hand Score (DASH) and visual analogue scale (VAS),and the efficacy using Karlsson's evaluation system.Results All surgical wounds primarily healed.The dislocation of acromioclavicular joint was corrected,without any vascular or neural damage.The patients were followed up for an average of 12 months (from 6 to 18 months).No plate breakage,screw loosening or redislocation was observed.The DASH and VAS scores of the shoulder at the final follow-ups (25.42 ± 8.34 and 2.22 ± 1.70,respectively) were significantly improved,compared with the preoperative ones (43.72 ± 12.35 and 6.33 ± 1.37,respectively) (P ＜ 0.05).According to the Karlsson's criteria,10 cases were excellent,4 good and 2 moderate.Conclusion In management of Rockwood type Ⅲ chronic acromioclavicular joint dislocation,hook plate and fascia lata graft can restore dynamic balance and stability of the acromioclavicular joint,resulting in solid fixation,early joint motion and limited complications.

Objective To explore the effect of repairing soft tissure defects of shank by anterior tibial artery periosteal perforator flap.Methods Eleven patients received the operation using anterior tibial artery periosteal perforator flap after reversing 180° repairs soft tissue defects of the same shank.The defect after the flap transfer was closed by skin-grafting.Results All the flaps of these 11 cases were successful.The fellow-up time was 3 months to 2 years.All fractures healed,and the appearance and the skin's color were satisfied.Conclusion The operation using anterior tibial artery periosteal perforator flap repairs soft tissue defects of shank has lots of merits:it is handled easily and causes small trauma and retains anterior tibial artery.It has a good success rate.The flap is thin that has a good appearance.
