Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of intracutaneous catgut embedding therapy on chronic injury of soft tissues. Methods: 106 cases of cervical spondylosis, myofascitis of back, lumbar muscle strain or the third lumbar vertebra transverse process syndrome were randomly divided into intracutaneous catgut embedding therapy group and acupuncture-cupping control group, 53 cases in each group.
