1.The Effects of Diazepam on Vestibular Compensation Following Unilateral Labyrinth injury

This report presents two cases of unilateral acute labyrinth loss resulted from injury,each showing delay in compensation possibly due to long-term administration of diazepam.The recent literature of the effects of the drugs onyestibular compensation is reviewed.The vestibular"suppressants"property of diazepam delays compensation when used on a long-term basis.However,it might be useful in controlling vege- tative symptoms and thereby possibly facilitate compensation when used on a short- tern basis.
2.Investigation in psychological state and it's correlation factors of family members of dderly cancerpatients

Objective To investigate the psychological state and its correlation factors of family members of elderly cancer patients. Methods A total of 76 family members of elderly cancer patients were investigated with questionnaires with Zung's self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS). Their psychological state and its correlation factors were analyzed. Results Incidence rate of anxiety of elderly cancer patients' family members was 52.63%, and incidence rate of depression was 46.05%. The mean standard score of SAS and SDS of elderly cancer patients' family members were both significantly higher than domestic norm. Difference of family member's gender, ways to pay health care fee, pain degree and disease condition led to different SAS and SDS score. Conclusions Family members of elderly cancer patients possessed different degree of psychological obstacle which related with multiple factors. Medical staff should not only think highly of patients' psychological state, but also their family members'. And meanwhile they should take corresponding strategy to reduce the incidence rate of anxiety and depression state in those family members.
3.Analysis of legal contagious diseases failed to report

Objective To appraise the real situation of lega l contagious diseases exactly, to find and to correct the problems in reportin g epidemic diseases in time. Methods Census and sampling surve y were applied in the different level medical institutions and inhabitants to in vestigate the legal contagious diseases failed to report. Results 13 species of legal contagious diseases were found out in medical institutio ns, amouted to 5 917 cases, and the rate failed to report was 29.85%; there wa s signifi cant difference in different medical institutions; 9 species of legal contagious diseases amouted to 546 cases were found out in 56 947 inhabitants, and its inc idence rate was 505.73 per 100 000, while the rate failed to report was 48.71%. C onclusions We should strengthen the reporting of epidemic disease in ru ral and indiviual medical institutions.
4.Effect of TRPC6 after astrocytes activation in traumatic brain injury

Objective To explore the role of astrocytes transient receptor potential channel 6(TRPC6) in rat brain injury (TBI).Methods Thirty-nine male Sprague-Dawley(SD) rats were divided into the sham operation group,injury group and deferoxamine(DFX) group(n=13).According to the previous model construction scheme established by our research group Feeney method,the rat brain impact injury model was established.The Morris water maze test was performed and the defected brain volume was measured.The immunofluorescence was adopted to detect the co-expression of TRPC6 and GFAP.Then Western blot was performed.Results The defected brain volume after TBI in the DFX group was significantly decreased compared with the injury group [(115.35 ± 13.70)mm3 vs.(209.99 ± 16.70)mm3]] (P<0.05).The Morris water maze test found that the platform search strategy and search time in the DFX group were(3.13 ± 0.35) and(36.15 ± 26.63)s,which were significantly improve d compared with (2.13±0.64) and(110±47.34)s in the injury group(P<0.05).The immunofluorescence found that GFAP in the DFX group was highly expressed,moreover the co-expression with TRPC6 was increased.Western blot found that TRPC6 in the DFX group was significantly down-regulated(P<0.01).Conclusion In rat TBI early stage,strocytes are activated after DFX treatment and TRPC6 is highly expressed,playing a neuroprotective role.

Objective To investigate the mechanism of acupuncture in anti-depression. Methods 100 depressive patients were randomly divided into acupuncture group and Amitriptyline group, 50 cases in each group. 6.Correlation among concentrations of high sensitive C reactive protein, uric acid, brain natriuretic peptide and coronary heart disease

Objective: To explore correlation among concentrations of high sensitive C reactive protein (hsCRP), uric acid (UA), brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) and coronary heart disease (CHD).Methods: A total of 120 CHD patients treated in our department were enrolled as CHD group, and they were divided into single vessel coronary disease group (single-vessel group, n=51) and multi-vessel coronary disease group (multi-vessel group, n=69).Meanwhile, another 40 healthy subjects were randomly selected from our physical examination center as healthy control group.Serum concentrations of hsCRP, BNP and UA were measured in all groups, and compared with pairwise comparisons.Results: Compared with healthy control group, there were significant rise in serum concentrations of hsCRP[(3.95±2.24) mg/L vs.(19.78±5.15) mg/L], BNP[(70.57±19.47) pg/ml vs.(196.17±54.84) pg/ml], UA[(184.51±79.47) μmol/L vs.(407.17±96.84) μmol/L]in CHD group, and those of multi-vessel group were significantly higher than those of single-vessel group, P<0.05 or <0.01;Spearman rank correlation analysis indicated that serum UA concentration was significant positively correlated with hsCRP and BNP concentrations (r=0.551, 0.398, P<0.05 both), Gensini score was significant positively correlated with serum concentrations of hsCRP, BNP, UA (r=0.478, 0.552, 0.741, P<0.05 all), Sullivan score was significant positively correlated with serum concentrations of hsCRP, BNP, UA (r=0.503, 0.674, 0.892, P<0.05 or <0.01) in CHD patients.Conclusion: Serum concentrations of hsCRP, BNP, UA are closely related to occurrence and development of CHD.These three indexes can be used as screening indexes for CHD, and the effect of combined detection may be better.

The effect of far ultraviolet radiation on scavenging active oxygen radiacal of polysaccharides from Sargassum thvnbergii and Sargassum kvrneri was studied. The results showed that the scavenging superoxide an ion radiacal levels of two polysaccharides were obviously decreased after 24h by UVc radiation,but the inhibition of the peroxidization of PU-FA was very prominent.The changes of IR spectra before and after far ultraviolet radiation on the two polysac-charide were also studied by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)and infrared absorption spectroscopy(IR)
8.Study on effect of UC-MSC in IPF experimental model induced by bleomycin in mice

Objective To investigate protective of umbilical cord-mesenchymal stem cells ( UC-MSC ) on idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis ( IPF ) experimental mode was induced by bleomycin in mice .Methods IPF experimental mode induced by bleomycin with intratracheal injection , and then the fourth generation UC-MSC was injected in caudal vein.The lung tissues were obtained to evaluate the influence of UC-MSC on IPF by the observation of histological evaluation(HE) and Masson staining, the detection content of hydroxyprine(HYP), superoxyde dismutase(SOD) and malonaldehyde ( MDA) .Results The HE and Masson staining showed that bleomycin +UC-MSC group could alleviate inflammatory cell infiltration and pulmonary interstitial collagen deposition.bleomycin+UC-MSC group could decline the content of HYP(P<0.01), MDA(P<0.05) and improve the content of SOD(P<0.01)compared with bleomycin group.Conclusion UC-MSC exhibits an protective effect on IPF experimental mode induced by bleomycin in mice.
9.Preparation and purification of polyclonal antibodies against human Fc?/?R and the polymeric immunoglobulin receptor

Objective:To generate rabbit anti-human Fc?/?R and Poly Immunoglobulin Receptor(pIgR) polyclonal antibodies.Methods:The EC12 domain of human Fc?/?R and the D1 domain of pIgR were expressed as including bodies in Escherichia coli.The purified proteins were used to immunize rabbits to generate polyclonal antibodies.The immune sera were characterized by ELISA and Western blot analysis,then absorbed with cross-action and purified by antigen linked beads.Results:The titers of antiserum were 1∶6 4000 and 1∶25 6000,separately.There was little cross-reaction between the two immune sera.Conclusion:The polyclonal antibodies against human Fc?/?R and pIgR without cross-reaction were successfully generated and could be useful tools to study the relationship between the two receptors.
10.Observation of Tianwang Buxin Decoction in the Treatment of Heart Yin Deficiency Type of Generalized Anxiety Disorder

Objective] To observe the clinical effects of Tianwang Buxin decoction in the treatment of heart Yin deficiency type of Generalized Anxiety Disorder. [Methods] 63 patients with Generalized Anxiety Disorder(heart Yin deficiency type) were randomly divided into three groups: Tianwang Buxin decoction group, paroxetine group, Tianwang Buxin decoction combined paroxetine group, course of treatment for 8weeks.Contrast the scores of three groups by HAMA before and after treatment. [Results] The clinical efficacy was almost the same among the three groups without significant difference, but the decrease of HAMA scores of Tianwang Buxin decoction combined paroxetine group was obviously lower than Tianwang Buxin decoction group and paroxetine group(P<0.05), among which, TCM group and combination group of TCM and WM had less side effect than WM group. [Conclusion]The clinical efficacy of Tianwang Buxin decoction group is almost the same with the paroxetine group without significant difference. The clinical efficacy of Tianwang Buxin decoction combined paroxetine group is more significant.
