Objective To investigate the effect of outpatient nursing intervention in patients with chronic rhinosinusitis(CRS)on the aspects of clinical efficacy, quality of life and nursing satisfaction after medical therapy. Methods The clinical efficacy according to the judgment standard for clinical effect was valued. Medical outcome study short-form 36-items health survey (SF-36) was used to assess the quali?ty of life of the subjects. Satisfaction Questionnaire was used to evaluate the satisfaction scale of patients. Eighty subjects with CRS were randomly divided into the control group (40 cases) and the trial group (40 cases). The trial group was given nursing intervention on basis of usual nursing. In three months after treat?ment, the data and statistics analysis was purely descriptive by SPSS 20.0. Results Clinical efficacy:in the group, nineteen subjects were cured, fourteen subjects were improved and inefficacy occurred in seven subjects. The effective rate was 77.5%(31/40). In the trial group, twenty-six subjects were cured, twelve subjects were improved and inefficacy occurred in two subjects. The effective rate was 95.0%(38/40). There were differences in general data between the two groups (χ2=5.165,P=0.023). Quality of life:the average score of the control group was 58.10±5.04, while the average score of the trial group was 72.22±5.63, the average score of quality of life in the trial group was significantly higher than that in the control group(t=3.08,P=0.025). Nursing satisfaction:there were significant differences in nursing satisfaction between the control group and the trial group (u=-7.048,P=0.000). Conclusions Outpatient nursing intervention can improve the effect of patients with chronic nasal sinusitis after medical therapy, improve the quality of life and improve nursing satisfaction.

Objective To investigate the value of MRI for the preoperative diagnosis of breast cancer.Method 45 patients with breast mass were evaluated by MRI preoperatively, 17 cases were further inspected by dynamic MRI, and the time intensity curves were analyzed. Results Postoperative pathology revealed carcinoma in 24 cases, and benign lesions in 21. The correct preoperative diagnosis rate of MRI for breast cancer was 96%(23/24), and its false-positive rate was 2%(1/45).Conclusions MR imaging of breast has practical value in preoperative diagnosis for breast cancer.
5.Gastrointestinal Hormones and Oxygen Free Radicals in IBS Rabbits of Spleen Deficiency
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2006;0(05):-
[Objective] To observe the effect of Leweiyin of traditional Chinese compounds prescription on gastrointestinal hormones and oxygen free radicals in IBS rabbits of spleen deficiency, and to explore the possible mechanism for the treatment of IBS with spleen deficiency.[Methods] 36 two-month-old rabbits with white feather and black eyes(WHBE rabbit),half male and half female, were randomly divided into 6 groups:normal group, model group,Xiangsha Liujun pill group,Lizhu Changle group,low-dose Leweiyin-treated group,high-dose Leweiyin-treated group.Except the normal group, others were made into IBS model of spleen deficiency which was induced by damp heat stress and gavage with Fanxieye as well as method of either hunger or gorge. The drug groups were administered preventively from the medium-term of the model reproduction to the end of modeling. The rabbits of each group were observed.NO,NOS,MDA,SOD in serum and SP in colonic membrane were detected.[Results] NO,NOS,MDA in serum and SP in colonic membrane significantly more increased than the normal group(P

Objeictivie To investigate the diagnostic value of anti-mutated citrullinated vimentin (anti-MCV) antibody, anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide (anti-CCP) antibodies and glucose-6-phospha-teisomerase (GP1) for rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Methods Anti-MCV antibody, GPI and anti-CCP antibody were detected in serum samples of 109 RA patients, 24 non-RA rheumatic diseases patients and 19 healthy blood donors. The sensitivity and specificity of these parameters for the diagnosis of RA were analyzed. Results Both the positive rate and average cut off concentration of anti-MCV and GPI in RA were higher than those of non-RA rheumatic diseases or healthy controls (P<0.05). A significant difference was found between anti-MCV and GPI in RA patients. The most sensitive and specific parameter in RA was anti-MCV (99.1%) and anti-CCP (90.7%) respectively, but, when anti-MCV combined with anti-CCP, or GPI or anti-CCP and GPI, the specificity could be up to 98.1%. Coniclusions Anti-MCV, anti-CCP and GPI alone or in combination may be valuable parameters for the diagnosis of RA.

Objective To discuss the effect of the quality control circle(QCC)activities in reducing the incidence of cold in reflux-enema of children. Methods The QCC team was built, reducing the incidence of cold in reflux-enema of children was named as the theme,to grasp the present situation, set the goal, fix the methods and carry out countermeasures. Results Through the development of QCC,making the standards of reflux-enema,the incidence rate of cold reduced from 25.0%(7/28) down to 3.6%(1/28),the nurses' abilities of technical operation and communication improved significantly. Conclusions Application of QCC in reflux-enema of children is practical. It can effectively improve the nurses' awareness of participating in the implementation management and nursing management system.By making the standardization of reflux-enema,nurses can improve the quality and effect of the reflux-enema and ensure the quality and safety of nursing.

Objective To investigate the value of transrectal Doppler and contrast-enhanced ultrasonography(CETRUS)to discriminate benign and cancerous nodules in prostate. Methods Fifty-five patients with hypoechoic lesions(35 biopsy-proven benign nodules and 32 prostate cancer nodules)in the prostate underwent Color and power Doppler uhrasonography(PDUS),and the parameter of peak vascularization index(PVI)in each prostate nodule was recorded and the differences of PVI in the benign and cancerous nodules were analyzed.CETRUS was then performed on all cases. The enhancement patterns of the lesions and their surrounding peripheral zone tissues were observed. After CETRUS,lesion-specific TRUS-guided biopsy and the routine sextant biopsy were performed subsequently. Results PVI of 32 prostate cancerous nodules and 35 prostate benign nodules were (0.38±0.16),(0.24±0.19),respectively,measured by color Doppler ultrasonography. And the former was significantly higher than the latter(P=0.0023).PVI of the cancerous nodules and the benign nodules were(0.55±0.18),(0.32±0.21)(P<0.01).Malignant lesions showed significant increased peak intensity and earlier arrival time compared with their surrounding outer gland tissue, while benign lesions showed nearly equal peak intensity and time to enhancement compared with their surrounding gland tissue by CETRUS. Conclusions PVI measured by PDUS was more effective than that measured by color Doppler to discriminate benign and cancerous nodules in prostate.CETRUS could be helpful in discriminatory performance of benign and cancerous nodules in prostate.

Objective:To observe the effect of lidocaine on cerebral protection provided by retrograde cerebral perfusion. Method:Sixteen mongrel dogs underwent cardiopulmonary bypass and were cooled to 20 C. Circulation was then stopped and retrograde cerebral perfusion was carried out for 120 min, then CPB was resumed and animals were rewarmed to 36 C. Animals were divided into two groups:in lidocaine group(n=8),lidocaine was administrated continuously throughout the experiment (4mg/kg then 0.2mg?kg~(-1)?min~(-1) during cardiopulmonary bypass, 0.5mg/min during retrograde cerebral perfusion);in control group(n=8),normal saline was given at the same rate. Result:Cerebral tissue creatine phosphate and adenosine triphosphate concentrations and energy charge were significantly higher in the lidocaine group than those in the control group by the end of the experiment (creatine phosphate:2.44?0.53 versus 1.61?0.49?mol/g wet w,P
