OBJECTIVE:To study the influence of Dieda paste application on expressions of CD16/32and CD80of mouse macrophages in traumatic condition.METHODS:The mice were divided into3groups:treatment group,model group and normal group.Using Rene method,7time-periods were adopted.Purified mouse peritoneal macrophages were obtained and detected with flow cytometer.RESULTS:After48-hour treatment,the subgroups of positive CD16/32,positive CD80and neg?ative CD16/32changed significantly.CONCLUSION:Topical application of Dieda paste could regulate the expressions of CD 16/32and CD80to normal levels.

Objective To investigate the current status of postoperative life quality of 2-to 12-yearold children with congenital heart disease,to compare results between 2-to 4-year-old,5-to 7-year-old and 8-to12-year-old groups.Meanwhile,compare the results with foreign researches.Methods Pedsol cardiac module was adopted to investigate 255 children patients with letters in a certain heart center in Shanghai.The survey included heart problems and treatment,perceived physical appearance,treatment anxiety,cognitive problems and communication.2-to 4-year-old group was reported by parents and others were reported by both children and parents.The results underwent analysis and were compared with data of other countries.Results There existed statistical difference among three groups.Compared with foreign researches,quality of life of Chinese children was lower except heart problems and treatment.Conclusions We should provide suitable health care and family centered nursing according to physical and psychological development of children to improve children's quality of life.

Objective:To assess the metabolic side effects of the following atypical antipsychoties head-to-head:amisulpride,olanzapine,aripiprazole,quetiapine,risperidone,ziprasidone.Methods:We searched the MED-LINE,EMBASE,Cochrane Library,PubMed,CNKI,Web of science,Sinomed,WANGFANG DATA databases for randomized,blineded studies comparing the above mentioned atypical antipsychoties in the treatment of schizophre-nia or related disorders.At last three reviewers extracted the data independently.All the data would be analysed with meta ananlysis and the analysis software of the RevMan 5.1 provided by Cochrane network.Results:There were 49 studies in which 45 were written in English and 4 were written in Chinese included in the review.Olanzapine pro-duced statistically significantly more weight gain than all other second-generation antipsychotics.Risperidone pro- duced significantly more weight gain than amisulpride.Olanzapine produced statistically significantly more increase in glucose levels from baseline to endpoint than all other second-genetation antipsychotics.Risperidone produced statistically significantly more increase in glucose levels from baseline to endpoint than aripiprazole,quetiap-ine.Olanzapine produced statistically significantly more increase in cholesterol than aripiprazole,risperidone and zi-prasidone.Quetiapine produced significantly more increase in cholesterol than risperidone and ziprasi-done.Risperidone produced significantly more increase in cholesterol compared to aripiprazole and ziprasidone.Conclusion:Some atypical antipsychoties lead to substantially more metabolic side effects than other a-typical antipsychoties.When choosing an atypical antipsychotic agent for an individual patient these side effects with their potential cause of secondary diseases should be weighed against efficacy and characteristics of the individual patient.

After the systems, methods and criteria for assessment of scientific research capability in USA, Germany, Britain and Japan were described, the advances in studies on assessment of scientific research capability in China were summarized, their characteristics were compared, and the enlightenments to perform assessment of medical research institution capability were elaborated.

Objective To investigate the effect of different concentrations of TPh on hepatoma cells , cell viability and and its possible mechanisms of anti-tumor.Methods The inhibitory rate of hepatoma cells and cell viability on different concentrations of TPh and time were measured by MTT assay;The morphological changes of apoptosis were observed by Hoechst 33258 straining; Cell cycle distribution was evaluated by flow cytometry (FCM).The protein expression of Bcl-2 and Bax were detected by Western blot analysis.Results MTT assay showed that TPh inhibited the proliferation of HepG-2 cells in a dose-dependent manner, and the inhibitory rate increased with the increase of concentration.The inhibitory rate was 50.9% (P<0.01).The results of Hoechst 33258 staining showed that the fluorescence intensity of hepatocellular carcinoma cells was light blue in fluorescence microscopy and bright blue fluorescence in apoptotic hepatocarcinoma cells, and the apoptosis of hepatocarcinoma cells increased with the increase of drug concentration.The percentage of cells in G0/G1 phase increased with the increase of cell cycle, and the ratio of cells in S phase was decreased in G2/M phase compared with blank control group (P<0.05);Western blot results showed that compared with the blank control group, TPh inhibited the proliferation of Bcl-2 cells in a concentration-dependent manner ( P <0.05 ) , and the number of apoptotic cells increased with the increase of drug concentration (P<0.05), and the ratio of Bcl-2/Bax in the TPh group decreased significantly (P<0.05), and the expression of Bax gene increased. Conclusion TPh inhibits cell proliferation, promotes apoptosis and induces HepG-2 to block G0/G1 phase.Its mechanism may increase the expression of Bax and decrease Bcl-2 protein expression.

Objective: To study the clinicopathological characteristics，diagnosis，multiple modality therapy and prognosis of accessory breast cancer. Methods: Clinical data of 38 patients with accessory breast cancer seen in our hospital between October 1985 and November 2007. Results: The 38 cases of accessory breast cancer accounted for 0.15% of all 26,078 breast cancer cases during the same period.Six patients of stage Ⅰ and 3 patients of stage Ⅱ underwent breast-conserving local wide excision of the tumor plus axillary lymph node dissection,with the resection margins pathologically negative.The other 9 cases of stage Ⅱ patients were treated with Auchincloss mastectomy.Stage Ⅲ and stage Ⅳ patients were treated with Auchincloss or Halsted mastectomy.The most common histological type of accessory breast cancer was infiltrating ductal Carcinoma for 18 patients(47.4%)，of which 3 cases were associated with adenoma of the nipple tube.There were 6 cases of carcinoma simplex，6 cases of intraductal Carcinoma，3 cases of adenocarcinoma with focal squamous cancer cells differentiation，3 cases of medullary carcinoma，and 2 cases of mucinous adenocarcinoma.The most common pathological stages(according to AJCC staging of breast cancer,2002.6th edition)were stage Ⅱ and Ⅲ in 12 cases(31.6%)，stage Ⅰ in 6 cases，and stage Ⅳ in 8 cases.All patients were followed-up for 1 to 23 years.The median follow-up time was 6 years and 7 months，and the follow-up rate was 100%.Until November 2008，12 patients died of metastasis and the other 26 patients were still alive.The 5-year overall survival rate was 35.3%.significantly lower than that of breast cancer patients(66.8%).The 3-year survival rate was 77.8%.The 5-year disease free survivaI rate was 28.6%and the 3-year disease free survival rate was 63.6%. Conclusion: Accessory breast cancer is rarely seen but is aggressive.The diagnosis mainly depends on clinical characteristics，postoperative pathology and imaging examinations.Early diagnosis is essential.Surgery combined with other adjuvant therapies can improve patient survival.

Objective To assess the effects of dynamic monitoring of plasma Pro-B-type Natriuretic Peptide(Pro-BNP) in the evaluation of prognostic value and myocardial dysfunction in patients with septic shock.Methods The levels of plasma Pro-BNP were tested in 102 patients with septic shock on the 1,3,and 5 days.Data on ICU mortality and 28-day mortality were collected.The patients were divided into non-dysfunction group (CI＜3.0) and cardiac dysfunction group (CI≥3.0) according to levels of hemodynamic variables ( CI level).The prognostic value of plasma Pro-BNP was analyzed.Results Plasma Pro-BNP levels on the 1,3 and 5 days in 28-day survivors have a significant declining trend [( 1649.0 ± 257.5 ) ng/L,( 1867.6 ± 291.7 ) ng/L vs.(1229.9 ± 194.5) ng/L),while plasma Pro-BNP levels in non-survivors have an increasing trend [(4128.8 ± 1051.1),( 5315.9 ± 925.4 ) vs.( 6899.9 ± 1327.9 ) ng/L].There is statistical significance of plasma Pro-BNP levels at day 1,3 and 5 for the two groups ( t=3.057,5.083,and 6.290 respectively,P＜0.01 ).The 28-day mortality and Plasma Pro-BNP levels in cardiac dysfunction group were higher than of non-dysfunction group ( 28-day mortality:62.1％ vs.20.0％;Pro-BNP1:( 1592.8 ± 362.2 )ng/L vs.( 4556.6 ±732.7 ) ng/L;Pro-BNP3:( 2933.6 ± 421.7 ) vs.( 5768.5 ± 793.7 ) ng/L,Pro-BNP5:( 3014.5 ± 587.5 ) ng/L vs.(8873.9 ± 1670.1) ng/L ( x2=20.635,P=0.000,t=3.626,3.154,3.310,P＜0.01].Pro-BNP level greater than 3053 ng/L on the 5-day was an independent prognostic indicator of 28-day mortality ( sensitivity:88.4％;specificity:91.5 ％ ).Pro-BNP level greater than 2378 ng/L on the 5-day was an independent prognostic indicator of hospital mortality ( sensitivity:84.9％;specificity:91.8％ ).In multivariate logistic regression analyses,Pro-BNP level and APACHE score were independent predictors of 28-day mortality and hospital mortality.Conclusion Plasma Pro-BNP level shows obvious significance in evaluation of sepsis-induced myocardial depression severity in patients with septic shock.Pro-BNP level in ICU at day 5 after inclusion is an independent prognostic marker of mortality in septic shock.

Objective To investigate the changes of peripheral blood lymphocyte function in the children patients with acute phase of Henoch-Schonlein purpura(HSP),and to explore its significance in the diagnosis and therapy of HSP.Methods The peripheral blood lymphocytes subsets CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+,CD19+ and NK cells(CD16++ CD56+) were detected in 51 children patients with acute phase of HSP and 40 children undergoing physical examination by flow cytometry(FCM Results Compared with the control group,the counts of peripheral blood CD4+,CD4+/ CD8+and NK cells CD16++ CD56+) in the acute stage of the HSP group were significantly decreased(P<0.01),while the proportions of CD8+ and CD19+cells were significantly increased(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion The immunity dysfunction exists in the children patients with acute phase of HSP.The peripheral blood lymphocyte function detection has an important significance for the early diagnosis and treatment of HSP.

Objective To observe the changes of mechanical pain thresholds and autophagy related proteins microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3 (LC3) and sequestosome 1 (SQSTM1 also known as p62) expression levels in the C57BL/6 mouse models of chronic prostatitis/ chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS),and provide animal experimental evidence for CP/CPPS pain and autophagy study.Methods 36 male C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into three groups: the model group,control group and na(i)ve group.The CP/CPPS model was established by subcutaneous injection in the lower abdomen region with suspension liquid,containing protein extract of male SD rat prostate gland and complete Freund adjuvant.At 1month and 6 months after modeling,the mice were sacrificed and prostate tissues were harvested for histological examination using HE staining.Mechanical tactile hyperalgesia was measured with von Frey filaments.The autophagy-related proteins LC3 and p62 expression levels were detected by immunohistochemistry,respectively.The average IOD was measured by Image Pro Plus 6.0,and the statistical analysis was performed with GraphPad Prism 5 software.Results The histopathology showed the appearance of chronic prostatitis in the model group,representing hyperplasia and lymphocytic infiltration to a different degree and lasted for 6 months after modeling.Moreover,prostate intraepithelial neoplasia (PIN) appeared in the model group at 6 months after modeling,characterized by the disappearence of basement membrane and obvious nuclear abnormality,while the control and na(i)ve groups showed normal histology during the 1-6 months.Compared with the control and na(i)ve groups,the mechanical pain threshold in the model group was significantly decreased along with the time from (0.353±0.154) g at 0 week to (0.008±0.00) g at 22 weeks (P<0.05).The average IOD of LC3 and p62 expression in the model group was significantly increased with timing from [(2.767±0.464)%,(2.872±1.642)%] at 1month to [(13.501±1.900)%,(9.07±0.49)%] at 6 month,P<0.05.Conclusions A CP/CPPS model is successfully established in C57BL/6 mice.For the model group,the mechanical pain threshold is decreased and autophagy levels are increased gradually with time.These phenomena show that chronic inflammation microenvironment may promote pain and autophagy activity in the prostate,which is closely related with the occurrence and development of prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia.
