Objective] In order to guide the treatment based on syndrome differentiation and to provide theory and thinking method for further research , the article researched the experience in treating phlegm syndrome of Pro.Wu Weikang,a prominent physician of Longjiang medical school,and discussed the four treatments of phlegm syndrome. [ Methods] The article researched experience in treatment of phlegm syndrome mainly from four aspects: ①searching for the primary cause of disease in treatment; ②harmonizing method with warm medicine; ③treat qi before phlegm; ④synchronic treating phlegm and blood stasis. [Results] Pro.Wu Weikang maintained that strange and chronic diseases are accompanied with phlegm. Thus he advocated that searching for the primary cause of disease in treatment,the treatment with mild medicine,the priority over qi treatment and the simultaneous treatment of both phlegm and stasis. These principles are widely used in clinic and highly effective. [Conclusion]The experience in prescription component of the treatment of phlegm syndrome not only has a high scientific content ,but also has significant guidance of clinical practice.

AIM:To find a new way of treating premature beats(PB) to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Yi-(xinshu) Capsule(Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng,Radix et Rhizoma Salviae miltiorrhizae,Radix Ophiopogonis,Radix Astragali,etc.) METHODS:Randomized,controlled clinical study were conducted in 60 patients with atrial premature beats(APB),and 60 patients with premature ventricular beats(PVB).APB patients were randomly divided into two groups:Yixinshu Capsule plus Isoptin(study group,n=30) and Isoptin group(control group,n=30).PVB patients:Yixinshu Capsule plus Mexiletine(study group,n=30) and Mexiletine group(control group,n=30).Those patients were treated for four weeks.We used 24 h Holter to monitor the times of PB and myocardial ischemia in before and after treatment.RESULTS:In the study group and control group,the times of APB and PVB were decreased obviously after 4 weeks treatment(P

Objective To develop a new method for detection of anti-dsDNA antibodies Methods Plasma double stranded DNA were used as antigen substrate and derived with fluorescence thiazole orange homodimer Capillary electrophoresis with laser induced fluorescence was used for the detection of anti dsDNA antibodies of patient with Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) Results 23 out of 40 patients with SLE were positive(57 5%); 1 out of 25 patients with other autoimmune disease were positive; none of 45 controls were positive Comparison of this assay with Farr and dot immunobinding assay(DIBA)shows that CE LIF was more sensitive than DIBA and more specific than Farr Conclusions The assay was rapid, simple and reproducible CE LIF may become a routine assay for determination of anti dsDNA antibodies

Objective To establish the simultaneous determination of arsenic and mercury in the drinking water by hydride generation atomic fluorescence spectrometry (HGAFS). Methods The contents of trace arsenic and mercury in drinking water were detected by HGAFS based on optimized working conditions in this assay. The influences of some factors, such as sample pretreatment, pH value and interfering ions in drinking water were analyzed also. Results The detection limit of arsenic, mercury was 0.29 ng/ml and 0.05 ng/ml respectively. The precision (relative standard deviation) of the method was less than 6.8% .The recovery rates ranged from 85.7%～112.6%. The detecting results for standard materials were very much close to the reference values. Conclusion This method was suitable for the detection of arsenic and mercury in drinking water.

[Objective] In order to guide the clinical syndrome differentiation and treatment, and provide the basis for further research on the ideological system of Wu Weikang, a famous professor of Longjiang medical school, the article studied Wu Weikang's experiences in the treatment of nephropathy and discussed the three basic prescriptions of him for treatment of kidney diseases. [Methods] The article discussed experiences in the treatment of nephropathy and academic thought on the basic of the three prescriptions of Wu Weikang such as eight-ingredients detoxification decoction ,yinqiao dihuang decoction and jiawei shenqi decoction. [Results] According to the common pathogenesis and kidney disease clinical symptoms, Professor Wu Weikang often chooses eight-ingredients detoxification decoction,yinqiao dihuang decoction and Jiawei Shenqi decoction as the basic prescriptions applied to the treatment of the dampness-heat of bladder syndrome, kidney deficiency and dampness-heat of bladder syndrome, and edema syndrome due to kidney yang deficiency, and the curative effect is remarkable. [Conclusion] Eight-ingredients detoxification decoction ,yinqiao dihuang decoction and Jiawei Shenqi decoction are the three prescriptions commonly used to treat the nephropathy by professor Wu Weikang in clinic. These prescriptions are widely used in clinic and highly effective. Practical experiences of these prescriptions will be elaborated here, so as to extract their essences to guide clinical practice.

Objective To explore the effect of swallowing training on dysphagia in patients with head and neck neoplasm receiving ra-diotherapy. Methods 60 patients with head and neck neoplasm receiving radiotherapy from March, 2014 to August, 2015 were divided into intervention group (n=30) and control group (n=30) randomly. The control group received routine nursing and relevant health education, while the intervention group received swallowing training from 2 weeks before to 3 months after radiotherapy. They were assessed with Functional Oral Intake Scale and M. D. Anderson Dysphagia Inventory 1 week, 3 months after radiotherapy. Results The scores of Function-al Oral Intake Scale (Z=-3.195, P<0.01), the total score of M. D. Anderson Dysphagia Inventory and the subscores (t>4.385, P<0.01) were better in the intervention group than in the control group 1 week after radiotherapy, as well as 3 months after radiotherapy (Z=-4.436, P<0.01;t>5.361, P<0.01). Conclusion Swallowing training could improve the condition of dysphagia of head and neck neoplasm patients after radiotherapy.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of postoperative three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy concurrent with paclitaxel +TS-1 chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced gastric carcinoma.Methods A total of 60 patients with advanced gastric carcinoma were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.In treatment group,30 patients received simultaneous three-dimensional conformal radiations therapy combined with paclitaxel +TS-1 chemotherapy.In control group,30 patients received paclitaxel +TS-1 chemotherapy.The long term survival rate,local recurrence rate and side reactions were observed in two groups.Results The 1,2-year survival rate in treatment group [93.1％ (27/29),75.9 ％ (22/29)] and control group [72.4 ％ (21/29),48.3 ％ (14/29)] had significant difference (P ＜ 0.05).The 1,2-year local recurrence rate in treatment group [6.9％ (2/29),13.8％ (4/29)] and control group [31.0％ (9/29),44.8 ％ (13/29)] had significant difference (P ＜ 0.05 or ＜ 0.01).The side reactions in two groups were mainly manifested as leukopenia,thrombocytopenia,anemia,nausea,vomiting,liver function damage and oral mucositis.The incidence rate of nausea,vomiting in treatment group was significantly higher than that in control group [83.3％ (25/30) vs.53.3％ (16/30)] (P =0.012).Conclusions Postoperative threedimensional conformal radiotherapy concurrent with paclitaxel +TS-1 chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced gastric carcinoma may improve the long-term survival rate,lower local recurrence rate.But the adverse reactions are increased.

Purpose To describe the normal appearances of skull on 3D-reconstruction of Multi-slice CT in adult.Materials and Methods 130 patient data of Volume CT digital subtraction angiography (VCTDSA) with cephalocervical and cephalic vessel that were checked at our hospital from May to July 2009 were analyzed.All of them were subjected to 3D reconstruction of the skull by volume render (VR) and maximum intensity projection (MIP).The anatomy of skull,vascular grooves,pacchionian impressions,the types and closure status of cranial sutures were observed.Results 27 pacchionian impressions (20.77%,27/130) and 51 vascular grooves (39.23%,51/130) were detected.There were three types of the general shapes of cranial sutures:Ⅰconventional type(86.15%,112/130),Ⅱfontanelle ossification type(5.38%,7/130) and Ⅲcranial suture within a cranium (8.46%,11/130).Furthermore,Status of each suture closure were divided into five types:typeⅠcomplete closure(3.0%,16/531);typeⅡgomphosis(78.3%,416/531);typeⅢ sutural bone (7.0%,37/531);typeⅣincomplete closure(3.6%,19/531),the average width of non-closed suture was 1.41mm±0.70mm;typeⅤmixed type (8.1%,43/531).Conclusion 3D reconstruction of multi-slice computed tomography is proved to be a reliable technique capable of defining anatomy of skull.Better than MIP to displays three-dimensional structure VR,but to display cranial sutures,vascular grooves,pacchionian impressions MIP is more definite and hypersensitive.Status of each suture closure may be divided into five types,and the general shapes of cranial sutures may be divided into three types.

Objective:To explore the role of DKK-1 andβ-catenin expressions in progression of proximal gastric cancer (PGC). Methods:The expression of DKK-1 andβ-catenin in 61 cases with PGC and para-neoplastic tissues and 20 cases with normal gastric mucosa was detected by immunohistochemistry. The related clinical significance in the cases was studied. Results:The positive expression rate of DKK-1 and the abnormal expression rate ofβ-catenin in the tissue sections of PGC were 34.4%(21/61) and 68.9%(42/61), respectively. The positive expression rate of DKK-1 and the abnormal expression rate ofβ-catenin in para-carcinoma tissues were 8.2%(5/61) and 6.6%(4/61) , respectively. The positive expression rate of DKK-1 and the abnormal expression rate ofβ-catenin in normal gastric mucosa were 15.0%(3/20) and 10.0%(2/20), respectively. The expression rate was significantly higher in PGC than that in the other tissues (P<0.05). The expression of DKK-1 was positively related to that ofβ-catenin in PGC (r=0.454, P<0.05), but not in the others. Conclusion:Higher expressions of DKK-1 and the abnormal expression ofβ-catenin are closely related to the occurrence of PGC.

Objective To investigate the effect of costimulatory molecules 4-1BB/4-1BBL on T cell activation with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)patients.Methods The expression of NF-kB mRNA and p38 MAPK mRNA of T cells with 20 SLE patients and 20 normal controls before activation,after activation and blocked bv 4-1BB/4-1BBL were detected bv RT-PCR.The protein levels of p-p38 MAPK and NF-kB were detected by Western blot.Results The expression of NF-kB mRNA and p38 MAPK mRNA and the protein expression of NF-kB and p-p38 MAPK of T cell with SLE patients were higher than that of normal controls(P＜0.01).There were more expression of NF-kB mRNA,p38 MAPK mRNA,NF-kB protein and p-p38 MAPK protein of T cell with SLE patients stimulated by anti-CD3 monoantibody(P＜0.01).In anti-4-1BB monoantibody blockage group,there were decreased expression of p38 MAPK mRNA and p-p38 MAPK protein(P＜0.01).but not the decreased NF-kB mRNA and protein expression.Conclusion Costimulatory molecule 4-1BB plays a critical role in T cell activation of SLE by p38 MAPK signal pathway.
