OBJECTIVE: To solve the transparency problem of the compound rhubarb oral liquid. METHODS: To analyse the factors affecting the transparency of the compound rhubarb oral liquid through the way of changing the contents or the prepa- ration process. Thereby to optimize the technic conditions for the transparency of the compound rhubarb oral liquid on the basis of the stability acceleratory experiment. RESULTS:The pH value was the main factor affecting the transparency. The problem of transparency of the compound rhubarb oral liquid could be well settled provided we control the pH value from 6. 7 to 7. 0 in the process of preparation. CONCLUSION:The established new technology is stable in quality.

In recent years,the incidence rate and mortality rate of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in elderly patients have been increasing.The therapy scheme consists of surgery,radiotherapy,chemotherapy and target therapy,with the purpose of prolonging survival time and improving life quality.But there is no unified standards of treatment in elderly non-small cell lung cancer.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the dissolution determination of Tamibarotene tablet. METHODS:HPLC was performed on the column of Diamonsil C18 with mobile phase of methanol-water-acetic acid(85∶15∶1,V/V/V)at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,detection wavelength was 235 nm,column temperature was 25 ℃,and injection volume was 20 μl. The paddle method was used to determine the dissolution,using pH6.8 phosphate buffer dissolution as medium,medium volume was 900 ml,the rotat-ing speed was 50 r/min,taking samples after 60 min. RESULTS:The linear range of tamibarotene was 0.801-2.804 μg/ml (r=0.999 6);RSDs of precision,stability and reproducibility tests were lower than 3%;recovery was 99.58%-100.90%(RSD=0.25%,n=9);the accumulative dissolution rate of 3 batches of samples was 98.25%,96.54%,92.38%(n=6). CONCLUSIONS:The method simple,accurate with high sensitivity and specificity,and suitable for the dissolution determination of Tamibarotene tablet.

OBJECTIVE:To establish the ion chromatography for the mass fractions of 9 inorganic anions (fluoride ion,for-mate radical,chloride ion,nitrite radical,bromide ion,nitrate radical,sulfate radical,oxalate radical and phosphate radical) in Ganmao qingre granules. METHODS:Ion chromatograph was used. The column was Ion Pac AS11-HC with the mobile phase of po-tassium hydroxide solution by gradient elution(concentration:30 mmol/L,time:15 min),the column temperature was room tem-perature,the volume was 25 μl. RESULTS:The 9 inorganic anions were basically achieved separation and had good linear relation-ship with r of 0.999 2-0.999 9,respectively;RSDs of precision,stability and reproducibility tests were less than 3.50%. Average re-covery was 92.47%-103.51%(RSD=0.42%-3.41%,n=6),respectively. CONCLUSIONS:The established method is fast,accu-rate,sensitive and repeatable and can be used for the determination of 9 inorganic anions in Ganmao qingre granules.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for simultaneous determination of the content of 14 common metal elements (Mg,Ca,Cr,Mn,Fe,Ni,Cu,Zn,As,Se,Cd,Sb,Ba and Pb)in Ganmao qingre granules. METHODS:Microwave diges-tion-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS)method was conducted. The samples were digested with concentrated nitric acid-hydrogen peroxide(2∶1,V/V),and then ICP-MS was used to determine the mass concentration of 14 metal elements. Li, Sc,Ge,Y,In,Bi and Tb were used as internal standards,and branches and leaves of bush were used as standard substances. RE-SULTS:The correlation coefficient of the standard curves of 14 elements was larger than 0.999 6,detection limits were in the range of 0.002-0.035 μg/L,recoveries were in the range of 80.57%-104.2% and RSDs were in the range of 0.34%-2.71%. CON-CLUSIONS:The method is specific,accurate and sensitive,and suitable for the content determination of 14 common metal ele-ments in Ganmao qingre granules. The total mass concentrations of 6 batches of heavy metals are all meet the requirements of Green Trade Standards of Importing&Exporting Medicinal Plants&Preparations.

OBJECTIVETo observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) at Zhongwan(CV 12) on the energy metabolism along the conception vessel(CV) in volunteers with yang-deficiency constitution,and to explore the relationship of electroacupuncture regulation and body constitution.

METHODSEighteen volunteers with mild constitution and 18 volunteers with yang-deficiency constitution were collected out of 200 students of Fujian University of TCM by body constitution questionnaire. Skin microcirculatory blood perfusion units (MBPU) at Danzhong (CV 17), Xiawan(CV 10) and Qihai(CV 6) of CV were measured by a laser Doppler flowmetry in the normal condition and after EA stimulation at Zhongwan(CV 12) for 20 min.

RESULTS(1)Before treatment, (1)MBPU values at Danzhong(CV 17), Xiawan(CV 10) and Qihai(CV 6) in the yang-deficiency constitution group were lower than those in the mild constitution group,but there was no statistical significance (both P>0. 05) except Danzhong(CV 17) (P<0. 01). (Z)As for the three acupoints in the mild constitution group, MBPU level of Danzhong(CV 17) was higher than that of Xiawan(CV 10) without statistical significance(P->0. 05),and MBPU values of Danzhong(CV 17) and Xiawan(CV 10) were higher than that of Qihai(CV 6) (both P<0. 01). (3About the three acupoints in the yang-deficiency constitution group, MBPU result of Danzhong(CV 17) was lower than the value of Xiawan(CV 10), but higher compared with Qihai(CV 6)(P<0. 05, P<0. 01). MBPU of Xiawan(CV 10) was higher than Qihai (CV 6) as well(P<0. 01). (2) MBPU values of Danzhong(CV 17), Xiawan(CV 10) and Qihai(CV 6) were increased apparently compared with those before treatment after EA stimulation at Zhongwan(CV 12) for 20 min in the two groups(all P<0. 01). (3) The rise rates of MBPU level about Danzhong(CV 17) and Qihai(CV 6) in the yang-deficiency constitution group were higher than those in the mild constitution group without statistical significance after EA at Zhongwan(CV 12) for 20 min(both P>0. 05).

CONCLUSIONThe energy metabolism in CV of volunteers with yang-deficiency constitution is declined, especially Danzhong(CV 17). EA can rise energy metabolism in CV of mild or yang-deficiency constitution volunteers through regulating MBPU along meridian.

Objective To examine the stability of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C)during serum incubation at different temperature and time periods.Methods Ten healthy volunteers (4 males and 6 females,aged 24 to 59 years)from Beijing Hospital were recruited in May 2015.Fasting venous blood samples were collected and centrifuged to separate the sera.Serum samples were incubated at 4℃ for 24 h,25℃for 0,1,8 and 24 h (with or without an LCAT inhibitor).Serum to-tal cholesterol (TC),total free cholesterol (TFC)HDL-C and HDL-FC were measured by the HPLC Method.Results HDL-FC and HDL-C changed -6.91% and -2.17% during serum incubation at 4℃for 24h.TFC,HDL-FC and HDL-C changed significantly (averaged -13.70%,-25.88% and -1.53% respectively)during serum incubation at 25℃ for 24 h,in which the decrease of TFC and HDL-FC were inhibited by the addition of the LCAT inhibitor.The decrease of HDL-C was even higher in the presence of the LCAT inhibitor.Conclusion Serum TFC,HDL-C and HDL-FC levels changed during serum incubations,which were caused by the LCAT and CETP activities and the transfer of cholesterol among lipoproteins. For accurate measurement of serum HDL-C,prolonged serum storage should be avoided in clinical laboratories.

Sixty-one patients with moderate to severe malignant ascites were enrolled and randomly assigned to receive intraperitoneal hyperthermal chemotherapy+intravenous chemical injection (treatment group; n=31) or routine intravenous chemical injection (control group; n=30). Short-term response and reverse effects were observed. Our results indicated that the complete remission rate, part remission rate,and clinical benefit rate in the treatment group was significantly higher than those in the control group (38.71% vs 13.33% ,41.94% vs 16. 67%, and 90.32% vs 66.67%, respectively). No difference in reverse effects was found between the two groups. Our data suggest that intraperitoneal hyperthermal chemotherapy plus general chemotherapy may effectively control the malignant ascites, and the reverse effects might be well tolerated.

A total of 101 patients undergoing operations for malignant gastrointestinal tumors (stage Ⅱ to Ⅲ) were enrolled and randomly assigned to receive intraperitoneal hyperthermal chemotherapy plus intravenous chemical injection (treatment group, n=51) or routine intravenous chemical injection (control group, n=50). Our results indicated that the recurrence rate and the metastatic rate in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group (25.5% vs. 50.0%, 13.7% vs. 30.0%, both P< 0. 05), although the 3-and 5 year-survival rates were significantly higher (both P < 0. 05). Our data suggest that intraperitaneal hyperthermal chemotherapy plus general chemotherapy after surgery for malignant gastrointestinal tumors could effectively reduce tumor recurrence and metastases and improve long-term survival.

Objective To study the clinical characteristics in the patients with different types of acute coronary syndrome(ACS) undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and the factors affecting the PCI treatment.Methods A total of 377 inpatients with ACS undergoing PCI in this hospital from January 2014 to March 2015 were selected,including 172 cases of ST-elevation acute coronary syndrome (ST-ACS) group and 205 cases of non-ST-elevation ACS (NST-ACS group).The baseline data and detection indexes were collected,the GRACE score on admission was calculated,the database was established,regular follow-up was performed,and the prognosis was analyzed.Results The smoking history,emergency PCI,coronary angi-ography TIMI grade ≤ 1,H MGB1,GRACE score,heart rate on admission,white blood cell(WBC) count,neutrophil ratio,lymphocyte ratio,monocytes ratio,absolute neutrophil count,high density lipoprotein,apolipoprotein b,number of lesion vessels and left ventricular ejection fraction had statistical differences between the ST-ACS group and NST-ACS group (P ＜ 0.05);the correlation analysis showed that HMGB1 and GRACE score were significantly correlated (r=0.836,P＜0.01).The 2-year follow-up results showed that the previous myocardialinfarction and PCI history,Killip grade(Ⅱ-Ⅳ),coronary angiography TIMI grade≤ 1,HMGB1,GRACE score,mean platelet volume,age and number of lesion vessels had differences between the end point event occurrence group and end point event non-occurrence group (P＜0.05).The Logistic regression analysis showed that HMGB1,GRACE score,age,previous PCI histoty,Killip grade (Ⅱ-IV) were the independent risk factors for cardiovascular events (P ＜ 0.05).The Cox survival analysis showed that HMGB1,previous PCI history,Killip grade (Ⅱ-Ⅳ) were the independent risk factors for cardiovascular events (P＜0.05).The ROC survival curve showed that the accuracy of HMGB1 was good,the areas under the curve was 0.844 (95％CI:0.803-0.885,P＜0.05),the critical value predicting the end point events was 480.44 ng/mL.Conclusion HMGB1 has difference between the ST-ACS group and NST-ACS group,and has a good correlation with GRACE score.
