Objective To investigate the evaluation method of processing pieces' colour and quantificationally analyse the relactionship between the pieces' colour and the internal quality. Methods Taking different processing techniques on Rhizoma Alismatis as research objects, using a camera and Adobe Photoshop software to acquire the elementary information of processing pieces' colour and determine the contents of the active principle in Rhizoma Alismatis by HPLC. The active principle in Rhizoma Alismatis and the colour of processing pieces are analyzed quantificationally by SPSS 13.0 statistical software and data mining software Clementine 8.0. Results The method for acquiring and handling colour information of processing pieces in Rhizoma Alismatis could be used to quantificationally analyze the correlation of the colour of processing pieces. There is a significant correlation between processing pieces' colour difference and the internal quality. Conclusion The colour difference of processing pieces can be one of target for the quality assessment. The method can be popularized to other precessing pieces control of techniques.

Objective To explore the intervention effect of active fraction of Angelica Sinensis Radix in mice under high altitude hypoxia condition. Methods Totally 72 healthy SPF mice were randomly divided into control group (K), model group (M), Rhodiola rosea group, and active fraction of Angelica Sinensis Radix groups (B, C, X). The mice were administerted corresponding treatment by gavage for 21 days. Control mice were given normal saline in same volume. From the 8th day, all mice excepted control mice were exposed to high altitude hypoxia cabin after 0.5 hour gavage treament. On the 22nd day, after got out of the cabin and their body weight were measured, mice were put to death through eyeball blood sampling to prepare splenic lymphocyte suspension. The proliferation and transformation capacities of lymphocyte cell and killing activity of NK cells were detected by MTT. The content of IL-2 in the serum of mice in each group were detected by ELISA. Results Compared with the control group, the body weight of mice, the proliferation and transformation capacities of lymphocyte cell, the killing activity of NK cells, and the content of IL-2 were all significantly decreased (P<0.05, P<0.01). Experiment tests showed that the proliferation and transformation abilities of lymphocyte cell and the killing activity of NK cells were all increased in the mice of group B, C, and X compared with those of the model group (P<0.05, P<0.01). The stimulate index of lymphocyte cell was raised after X intervention compared with those of the model group (P<0.05). The content of IL-2 in the serum was enhanced after intervention of active fraction C and X of Angelica Sinensis Radix compared with those of the model group (P<0.05, P<0.01). Conclusion Active fraction of Angelica Sinensis Radix shows increasing immunological function of mice exposed to hypoxia.

Objective To explore the application effect of traditional Chinese medicine rolling egg therapy in the treatment of infantile diarrhea. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of children with diarrhea in Dongguan People's Hospital from April 2022 to April 2024.According to the treatment methods, they were divided into the control group and the combination group. The control group was treated with western medicine, while the combination group was combined with traditional Chinese medicine rolling egg therapy on the basis of the control group.7 d was a course of treatment, and a total of 2 courses of treatment was conducted. The clinical efficacy was evaluated, and the durations of clinical symptom changes after treatment were compared. The intestinal flora, immune function[immunoglobulin (Ig) A,IgG,IgM]and inflammatory factors[interleukin (IL)-6,IL-17,tumor necrosis factor (TNF) α]were observed before and after treatment. The treatment safety was analyzed, and the recurrence within 6 months of follow-up was counted. Results A total of 180 patients were included in the study, with 106 in the control group and 74 in the combination group. The total effective rate of the combination group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05).After treatment, the time to stop diarrhea, reduce fever and change stool properties to normal in the combination group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05);the number of Bifidobacteria and Lactobacilli in both groups was higher than that before treatment, and the number of combination group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05);the number of Enterococcus faecalis and the levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-17 were lower than those before treatment in both groups, and these in the combination group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05);the levels of IgA,IgG and IgM were higher than those before treatment in the combination group (P<0.05),and the IgA level was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05).At 6 months, the recurrence rate of the combination group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine rolling egg therapy combined with western medicine is effective in the treatment of children with diarrhea, and its mechanism may be related to the improvement of immune function, inflammatory response and intestinal flora.
