1.Investigation of Morphology and Structure of Poly(ethylene glycol)-Coated Silver Nanowires by Electron Microscopy
Chinese Journal of Analytical Chemistry 2010;38(2):149-152
Poly(ethylene glycol)(PEG) coated silver nanowires has been hydrothermally prepared at a very slow rate, in which PEG was used as both a mild capping agent and a weak reductant. As-prepared silver nanowires(SNWs) have been characterized using scanning electron microscopy) and transmission electron microscope), which showed that the SNWs are usually longer than 100 μm and their diameters(each SNW has a uniform thickness) vary mainly in the range of 80~300 nm. Surprisingly, some of these silver nanowires connected) by their two ends to form some close-looped silver nanowires, which hitherto has not been reported elsewhere. The existence of close-looped silver nanowires supports the mechanism that nanowires can evolve from fusion of some nanoparticles and/or shorter nanorods. Careful TEM characterization and selected area electron) diffraction revealed that the silver nanowires kept a five-fold twinned structure, which is opposite to some reports) that a long-time incubation will lead to the disappearance of this twin structure. This work demonstrates the situation that deeper investigation is still needed for understanding the structure transformation of silver) nanowires.

China Pharmacy 2015;(29):4069-4071,4072
OBJECTIVE:To study and analyze the impact of rosuvastatin on function changes of endothelial cell. METHODS:30 patients with coronary heart disease were selected from our hospital during Jun. 2013 to Jun. 2014,and 15 healthy persons were included. They were divided into healthy control group, drug intervention of coronary heart disease group and coronary heart disease group with 15 cases in each group. The levels of asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA),NO and nitric oxide synthase (NOS) were determined by ELISA and compared among those groups. Its relationship with OD value was analyzed. After cultured for 4 h and 8 h,human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) were divided into 5 groups,i.g. control group 0 μmol/L,0.1 μmol/L group,1 μmol/L group,10 μmol/L group,100 μmol/L group. The change of DDAH mRNA expression in endothelial cells treated with different concentrations of rosuvastatin was detected. RESULTS:The level of ADMA in drug intervention of coronary heart disease group were significantly lower than in coronary heart disease group, but still higher than that in healthy control group;NO and NOS levels were significantly higher than coronary heart disease group, but still lower than healthy control group, with statisti-cal significance (P<0.05). According to Pearson method correlation analysis,OD value was positively correlated to ADMA,NO and NOS. 4h after HUVEC culture,RT-PCR showed that mRNA expression of DDAH were increased in 0.1 μmol/L,1 μmol/L, 10μmol/L and 100μmol/L rosuvastatin groups, there was statistically significant difference between 10μmol/L and 100μmol/L ro-suvastatin groups and control group (P<0.05). 8 h after HUVEC culture,RT-PCR showed mRNA expression of DDAH were in-creased in 0.1 μmol/L,1 μmol/L,10 μmol/L and 100 μmol/L rosuvastatin groups, and there was statistically significant difference between 10 μmol/L rosuvastatin group and control group(P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Rosuvastatin is a new type of lipid-lowering drugs, which has a good protective effect on endothelial cells,it is worthy of attention in the clinic.

Objective To explore the feasibility and proper time of laparoscopic cholecystectomy(LC)for the treatment of gallstones complicated with acute biliary pancreatitis(ABP).Methods From January 1999 to August 2007,72 patients with gallstones complicated with ABP were treated with LC in our department.Among the patients, early LC was performed on 56 cases when their symptoms of pancreatitis were relieved, elective LC was carried out in 8 patients, while emergent LC was required in the other 8 patients because of failure of conservative treatment. Results The LC was successfully completed in all the cases with a mean operation time of 63 min(30-135 min),and a mean blood loss of 50 ml(20-230 ml).Intraoperative cholangiography was carried out in 5 patients,4 of them were diagnosed as having stones in the lower common bile duct, and were then cured by endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP)and endoscopic sphincterotomy(EST)after LC.Only one patient was converted to open surgery. No perioperative death,or postoperative biliary hemorrhage or leakage occurred in this series. After the operation, pathological examinations revealed multiple small or sand-like stones in the resected gallbladders. The patients were followed up for 2 months to 8 years(mean 19 months);during this period,no recurrent pancreatitis or cholelithiasis was found. Conclusions LC is feasible and safe for patients with gallstones complicated with acute pancreatitis at early stage if perioperative treatments has been properly carried out.Preoperative MRCP,intraoperative cholangiography, and postoperative EST are essential auxiliary techniques for the treatment.

0.05). The 1,3 and 5-year regional control and survival rates in both groups were concordant, demonstrating that the prognosis of these two groups was similar. The 5-year survival rate in pre-operative radiotherapy group was 37%. The results of retrospective analysis by Log-rank and Cox proportional regression methods demonstrated that whether the tumor resected or not were the major factors affecting pre-operative radiotherapy effect.

China Oncology 2015;(1):45-49
Background and purpose: Locoregional infusion chemotherapy such as hepatic artery, or hepaticportal vein infusion is one of the most important treatments for hepatocelluar carcinoma. This study was aimed to investigate the distribution of fluorouracil(5-FU) in rat hepatoma, liver tissue and plasma after administrated by caudal vein or locoregional routes of hepatic artery, hepaticportal vein, and hepaticportal vein with ligated hepatic artery. Methods:Twenty-four tumor-bearing rats were divided into 4 groups randomly, and they were infused with 5-FU through peripheral vein(caudal vein), hepatic artery, hepaticportal vein or hepaticportal vein with ligated hepatic artery, which dose was 20 mg/kg. High performance liquid chromatography was adopted to measure the content of 5-FU in hepatoma, liver tissue and plasma, and the drug penetration rate among them were calculated. Results:The group of hepaticportal vein with ligated hepatic artery reached the highest concentrations of 5-FU in live tissue and hepatoma, which concentrations were (22.1±9.5)μg/g and (16.4±7.2)μg/g. Then was the hepatic artery group, and the concentration of the hepaticportal vein group in the hepatoma focus was much smaller than the former 2 groups, which was (8.9±3.7)μg/g. The peripheral vein group got the lowest concentrations both in the liver tissue and hepatoma, which were (9.4±3.7) and (4.3±2.2)μg/g. The concentrations of 5-FU in the plasma in the peripheral vein group, the hepatic artery group, the group of hepaticportal vein with ligated hepatic artery and the hepaticportal vein group were (26.8±12.5), (16.4±9.7), (15.9±10.1) and (14.9±8.5)μg/mL, which indicated that the drug concentrations of the latter 3 groups were much lower than the former group. The hepatoma/plasma penetration rate of 5-FU in the group of hepaticportal vein with ligated hepatic artery, the hepatic artery group, the hepaticportal vein group and the peripheral vein group were 103.47%, 92.94%, 59.58% and 16.08%. Conclusion: Compared to the peripheral venous bolus injection, locoregional infusion could significantly increase the concentrations of chemotherapy agent in hepatoma focus and liver tissue, and decrease the drug distributions in peripheral blood. And the infusion through hepaticportal vein with ligated hepatic artery and through hepatic artery reaches higher concentrations in the hepatoma focuses, which indicate that they are 2 practical and promising routes for the locoregional chemotherapy of hepatoma.
