1.Clinical study on women with amenorrhea after levonorgestrel intrauterine system

Objective To study the 5 years contraceptive efficacy of levonorgestrel intrauterine system (LNG-IUS) and the ovarian functions in amenorrhea women. Methods LNG-IUS and TCu 380A IUD were randomly inserted in 2 groups of women, 50 each. Women were followed annually for 5 years. Serum follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), prolactin (PRL), estradiol (E 2), and T levels in 14 women with amenorrhea, and endometrial biopsies were obtained in 9 cases. Results By the end of 5 years, there were 2 pregnancies in TCu 380A group, but none in LNG-IUS group; and 24 amenorrhea cases in LNG-IUS. 2.Risk Factors of Insomnia after Cerebral Middle Artery Infarction

Objective To explore the type of circadian rhythms and risk factors for post-stroke insomnia. Methods From January, 2012 to June, 2014, the patients with cerebral middle artery infarction were divided into insomnia group (n=25) and control group (n=25). The general characterizations of the patients were collected. They were assessed with Morning and Evening Questionnaire (MEQ), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), Insomnia Severity Index (ISI), Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS) and Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS). Results The MEQ score was lower in the insomnia group than in the control group (t=2.676, P<0.05). The frequency of moderate night type (20%) and absoluteness night type (4%) were higher in the insomnia group than in the control group. High score (>11) of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) was the independent risk foctor for post- stroke insomnia (OR=1.463, 95% CI=1.112- 1.925). The scores of ESS, PSQI, ISI and FSS were higher in the insomnia group than in the control group (t>5.609, P<0.001). The scores of ESS (r=0.334, P<0.05), FSS (r=0.535, P<0.01), PSQI (r=0.461, P=0.001) and ISI (r=0.504, P<0.01) were positively correlated with the NIHSS score. Conclusion The patients with post-stroke insomnia impair in circadian rhythms. High NIHSS score is the independent risk factor for post-stroke insom-nia.

4.Study and Comparison on HPLC Fingerprint ofPhyllanthus Urinaria Linn andPhyllanthus Amarus Linn

This study was aimed to establish the HPLC fingerprint ofPhyllanthus urinaria Linn and Phyllanthusamarus Linn, in order to provide evidences for the study on material basis. Analysis was performed on an INDUSTRIES Epic C18 120A (5μm, 250 mm × 4.6 mm) column eluted with the acetonitrile (A) - water (0.1% phosphoric acid, V/V) gradient system as mobile phase. The wavelength was 254 nm and the flow rate was 1mL·min-1. The column temperature was 30℃. The injection volume was 10 μL. The results showed that the HPLC fingerprint ofPhyllanthus urinaria L. andPhyllanthus amarus L. were established. It was concluded that the method was simple, accurate and reproducible. 5.The application of the sevoflurane anesthesia via laryngeal mask airway (LMA)composited block in groin ;area in pediatric hernia surgery

Objective To compare the security between the sevoflurane anesthesia via laryngeal mask airway (LMA) composited nerve block in groin area and ketamine anesthesia in the pediatric hemioplasty.Methods 80 children (aged 2 -6,weight 10 -25kg,ASAⅠ -Ⅱ)with high ligation of hernia sac were divided into two groups according to the random number table method:group S -sevoflurane combined with inguinal region block under laryngeal airway ventilation;group K -ketamine combined with caudal block.Group S was inhalated with 6% -8% sevoflurane for foundation anesthesia,and then followed with vein induction:fentanyl 2μg/kg and propofol 2mg/kg.The laryngeal mask was placed when the temporomandibular joint was relaxed.Inguinal region was blocked by the surgeon after disinfect and spread towels.Anesthesia was maintained by 3% to 4% sevoflurane with mechanical ventilation interop-eration.Group K was adopted the intramuscular ketamine (5mg/kg)for basic anesthesia and then used modified sacral canal blocking.Ketamine 1mg/kg was administered before skin incision.Additional ketamine 0.5mg/kg was intravenously injected when it was appeared with body move,choking cough,etc.The values of MAP and HR in the two groups were recorded respectively at the time point of 1min before skin cutting (T0 ),1min after skin cutting (T1 ),5min after skin cutting (T2 ),the end of operation (T3 )and awaken time (T4 ).The body movement was observed intraoperation,the number of SpO2≤95% and awaken restlessness,the recovery time and residence time in anesthesia recovery room were recorded.Results The values of MAP in group S at time points of T1 ,T2 ,T3 were (77.6 ±6.2)mmHg,(77.8 ±6.4)mmHg,(76.5 ±4.7)mmHg respectively,and the values of MAP in group K at time points of T1 ,T2 ,T3 were (86.9 ±8.1)mmHg,(88.1 ±5.3)mmHg,(86.4 ±6.5)mmHg respectively.The t values at time points of T1 ,T2 ,T3 were 5.766,7.893,7.806 respectively when the group S compared with group K(P <0.0001),the group S was superior to group K.The values of HR in group S at time points of T1 ,T2 ,T3 were (121.3 ± 9.6)times/min,(121.9 ±8.4)times/min,(120.3 ±7.8)times/min respectively,and the values of HR in group K at time points of T1 ,T2 ,T3 were (138.6 ±9.4)times/min,(136.5 ±7.5)times/min,(128.7 ±6.9)times/min respec-tively.The t values at time points of T1 ,T2 ,T3 were 8.144,8.200,5.101 respectively(P <0.0001),the group S was superior to group K.The MAP and HR were more smoothly in group S than in group K.The recovery time in group S and K was (7.5 ±3.4)min and (16.7 ±5.5)min respectively(t =8.99,P <0.0001),it was shorter in group S than in group K.The residence time in anesthesia recovery room was (15.4 ±4.2)min and (23.7 ±6.3)min respectively (t =6.93,P <0.0001),it was shorter in group S than in group K.Intraoperative body movements was 3 cases and 15 cases respectively in group S and group K(χ2 =10.32,P <0.001);Cases of SpO2 ≤95% was 4 and 12 respec-tively in group S and group K(χ2 =10.32,P <0.001),the occurrence of body movements and SpO2 ≤95% cases was lower in group S than in group K.Conclusion The sevoflurane anesthesia via LMA composited nerve block in groin area has the advantages of faster induction,faster recovery,the hemodynamics was more stable,adverse reactions was fewer and so on,it can be safely used in pediatric anesthesia.
6.THE EFFECTS OF TAURINE ON LIPID PEROXIDATION OF RABBIT'S MYOCARDIAL SARCOLEMMA AND PHOSPHOLIPID LIPOSOME

In the rabbit's myocardial sarcolemma and artificial biomem-brane-liposomes, the lipid peroxidation caused by free radical gene-arting system ( FeCls & ascorbic acid ) was significantly inhibited by taurine at the concentractions of 5~20 m mol/L, and the inhibition effects of taurine were both dose and time-dependent. The results showed that taurine had an antioxidation effects and served as a scavenger of free radicals at the level of membrane.
7.Cell growth factors for repair of skeletal muscle injury

BACKGROUND:A variety of cel growth factors are involved in skeletal muscle regeneration; moreover, these factors cooperate with each other to promote muscle repair and regeneration. OBJECTIVE:To explore the synergy mechanism of a variety of cel growth factors in promoting damage repair. METHODS:By using literature survey, Wanfang, CNKI and PubMed databases were searched for articles related to exercise-induced muscle damage and repair using the keywords of “cel growth factor; skeletal muscle damage;repair; fibroblast growth factor” in Chinese and English, respectively. Research achievements related to exercise-induced muscle damage, molecular biological characteristics of cel growth factors and skeletal muscle injury repair are discussed. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Basic fibroblast growth factor plays a basic biological role to promote cel proliferation and angiogenesis, which is the strongest cytokine known to promote cel growth and reflects a very important role in skeletal muscle repair. Epidermal growth factor is synthesized by monocytes and ectodermal cels, which is prominent to stimulate the division and proliferation of a variety of tissues and cels, enhance cel movement, division and synthesis of interstitial protein. Insulin-like growth factors are a family of insulin-like growth factor 1-related and insulin-like growth factor 2-related peptides, which can promote muscle protein synthesis, promote muscle cel proliferation and differentiation, and participate in skeletal muscle regeneration and repair, thereby accelerating wound healing of the muscles. Neurotrophic factor is a kind of trace soluble substances around sensory neurons and produced by neuron-targeted cels, which can specificaly promote neuronal growth and maintenance, and promote skeletal muscle repair. But studies on the synergy mechanism of a variety of cel growth factors in the repair of exercise-induced muscle damage are just at the initial stage, and further research is necessary.
