Some vasovagal syncope (WS) patients developed tachycardia during the head-up tilt test (HUTT), of which bradycardia is the most common. There are different in shape of ECG waves between HUTT negative patients and HUTT positive patients.The dysfunction of autonomic nerve system could be the main reason.It could be helpful in diagnosis and treatment of VVS to leant the ECG change and its predictive value of HUTT result, effect of treatment and prognosis.

Brain metastasis is a common and devastating consequence of disease progression in patients with lung cancer.Epidermal growth factor receptor-tyrosine kinase inhibitors (EGFR-TKI) may enhance radiosensitivity by reducing the cells in S phase,reducing angiogenesis of tumor cells,increasing irradiation apoptosis,inhibiting tumor cells proliferation by fractionated irradiation and reducing radiotherapy resistance.The clinical results of radiotherapy combined with EGFR-TKI (such as gefitinib) in treatment of brain metastasis from lung cancer showed higher response rate and longer survival.The toxicities during EGFR-TKI treatments were low,and could be controllable after symptomatic treatment.Administration of EGFR-TKI combined radiotherapy conferred minimum influence on radiotherapy.

Circular RNA ( circRNA) , a novel type of endogenous non-coding RNA ( ncRNA) , has been broadly taken into account during recent years as a research hot-spot.Unlike linear RNA, circRNA form covalently closed loop structure by jointing 3′and 5′ends together via exon circularization or intron circularization.Through which way it is more stable and conserved than linear RNA.Besides, circRNAs are abundant and multiple existences in creatures have been revealed.Nowadays, an increasing number of researchers have found that circRNA plays an essential role in the regulation of gene expression, which has broadened the view of di-verse endogenous noncoding RNA, and therefore hints that circRNA has great potential in clinical diagnosis and treatment of disease. Objective Through the English newspaper reading activities to create the information transmission platform based on the medium of English,so as to improve the students' ability of receiving,understanding,conversion,processing,and output information.Methods Two natural classes of seven-year program students of Grade 2011 with no difference in Englishproficiencywere selected at randomas control group(30) and the experimental group(30).And reform on reading course has been performed in the experimental class by incorporating English newspaper reading into traditional teaching routine,while the control class maintain the traditional teaching routine.After the teaching,through CET 4 test scores to evaluate the teaching effect.Independent t-test was conducted on the performances of CET 4 between the experimental class and controlled class with the level of test α=0.05.Results The control group was higher than the experimental group inthe total scoreof CET 4 and the performance oflistening and reading,and there was significant difference between the two groups(P of totalscore=0.000,P of listening score=0.002,P of reading score=0.001).But there was no statistically significant difference in writing subtests between the two groups(P=0.072).Conclusion By adopting English newspaper reading and broadcasting in class,students' overall ability of using English has been greatly enhanced,especially the listening comprehension and reading comprehension; however,there is no significant change in the development of students' writing ability due to the tasks designed.

Objective To explore the mechanism of the cumulative biological effect of acupoint laser radiation and investigate its analgesic effect by comparing the therapeutic effects of semiconductor laser radiation versus acupuncture at point Zusanli(ST36) in acute adjuvant arthritis rats and to provide the experiment-based theoretical foundation and basis for the course of treatment of acute arthritis pain by clinical use of semiconductor laser. Method A rat model of AA was made by subcutaneous injection of complete Freund's adjuvant into rat toe. Eighty rats were randomly allocated to eight groups:model, blank, three-day laser radiation, five-day laser radiation, seven-day laser radiation, three-day acupuncture, five-day acupuncture and seven-day acupuncture treatment groups, 10 rats each. The three laser groups separately received 650 nm semiconductor laser radiation. The three acupuncture groups separately received acupuncture with a filiform needle at point Zusanli(ST36) on the inflammation-affected side. Rat general condition, body weight, pain threshold value and ankle swelling degree were observed. Serum inflammatory factors IL-1、TNF-αand IFN-γcontents were measured by ELISA. Result There were statistically significant posttreatment differences in body weight, joint swelling degree and pain threshold between the laser treatment and acupuncture treatment groups of rats (P<0.05). There was a statistically significant post-treatment difference in joint swelling degree between three-day laser, five-day laser and seven-day laser treatment groups (P<0.05). Pain threshold was lowest at five days after treatment and increased somewhat at seven days after treatment in both the three-day laser and three-day acupuncture treatment groups. The IL-1 content tended to decrease on the whole and had a decreasing tendency at three and five days after treatment in both laser and acupuncture treatment groups. At seven days after treatment, it reached the lowest value in the laser treatment group but had a marked increasing tendency in the acupuncture treatment group. The IFN-γcontent had an increasing tendency at three and five days after treatment in both laser and acupuncture treatment groups. The IFN-γcontent tended to change gently in the laser treatment group from day five to seven after treatment. It tended to decrease from day five to seven after acupuncture treatment but was still higher than in the three-day acupuncture treatment group. The TNF-αcontent tended to decrease from day three to five after treatment in both laser and acupuncture treatment groups. From day five to seven after treatment, it tended to decrease gently in the laser treatment group but tended to increase slightly in the acupuncture treatment group. Conclusion Both semiconductor laser radiation and acupuncture at point Zusanli have an anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect and can relieve the general symptoms in AA rats, but semiconductor laser radiation is significantly superior to acupuncture treatment in eliminating inflammation and easing pain and produces a more timely and better therapeutic effect. After semiconductor laser radiation at acupoints, the related serum cytokines tended to increase or decrease slowly in AA rats after the turning point appeared during the treatment, which embodies the parabola feature of laser radiation treatment. It is showed that with an increase in laser radiation length, the biological effect of laser accumulates, suggesting that attention should be paid to the cumulative effect during laser treatment.

The PTEN, having a dual specificity phosphatase activity, is the first tumor suppressor gene that possess phosphatase activity hitherto. Many researches have suggested that PTEN play a major role in the tumorgenesis. In clinical, the head and neck squamous cell carcinoma(HNSCC) is one of the most common malignant tumors. Objective To study the inhibitory effect of berberine on human nasopharyngeal cancer cell line CNE-2 in vivo and in vitro. Methods CNE-2 cell proliferation was measured by MTT assay and cell cycle was analyzed by flow cytometry. Cell morphology was observed with transmission electron microscopy. The cell cycle relative protein was detected by Western blotting. DNA and protein syntheses were assessed by the cellular incorporation of ~ 3 H-TdR and ~ 3 H-Leu, respectively. Anti-tumor activity of berberine in the experimental transplantation tumor CNE-2 was evaluated by relative tumor growth ratio. Results Berberine inhibited CEN-2 cells growth in a time-and dose-dependent manner. MTT Assay showed that the IC_ 50 values of 48 and 72 h were (49.5?5.8) and (13.3?2.0) ?mol/L, respectively. Cell cycle analyses of 50.0 ?mol/L berberine-treated CNE-2 cells by flow cytometry showed the accumulation of cells in the G_2/M phase while 25.0 ?mol/L berberine treatments for 48 h induced apoptosis with the index of (48.9?10.4)%. The inhibition of CNE-2 cell growth by berberine was associated with suppression of cyclin B1, CDK1, and cdc25c proteins. Objective To study the 5 years contraceptive efficacy of levonorgestrel intrauterine system (LNG-IUS) and the ovarian functions in amenorrhea women. Methods LNG-IUS and TCu 380A IUD were randomly inserted in 2 groups of women, 50 each. Women were followed annually for 5 years. Serum follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), prolactin (PRL), estradiol (E 2), and T levels in 14 women with amenorrhea, and endometrial biopsies were obtained in 9 cases. Results By the end of 5 years, there were 2 pregnancies in TCu 380A group, but none in LNG-IUS group; and 24 amenorrhea cases in LNG-IUS.
