Objective To analyze the diffusion properties of acute cerebral stroke to understand the effects of infarct and hematoma on diffusion-weighted MR images of patients with acute cerebral stroke. Methods 25 acute cerebral infarcts, 22 intracranial hematomas and 5 hemorrhagic infarctions were studied with CT, conventional and diffusion MR imaging. The DWI and ADC parameters of acute cerebral stroke were analyzed. Results The DWI images of 25 acute cerebral infarcts, 1 hyperacute hematoma, 2 acute hematomas and 3 subacute hematomas were hyperintensity, and that of 8 early subacute hematomas were hypointensity. The DWI images of early stage of 4 chronic hematomas were hyperintensity at center and hypointensity at periphery, and that of late stage were hypointensity. The DWI images of acute hemorrhagic infarctions had both the hyperintensity and hypointensity. Meanwhile, the ADC images of majority of the lesions were hypointensity. Conclusion DWI could reflect the diffusion properties of different types of cerebral strokes and play an important role in evaluating the strokes.

Objective:To investigate the availability for rhIL-18 in the in vitro culture system to stimulate PBMHCs,with inducing cytotoxicities against tumor cells and to analyze the influencing factors for the effects. Methods:The NK cells,T cells and dendritic cells were separated from fresh PBMNCs by using the Stem Sep TM immunomagnetic beads.Cell phenotypes of the purified cell populations were identified with FCM technique. The cell co-culture system was established as follows. The PBMNCs or the cell preparations deleting the definite cell subset with immunoscreening were co-cultivated with mitotic-inactivated tumor cells in the presence of rhIL-18.Cytotoxicities of the various effector cell preparations to a series of tumor cell lines were examined by the isotope releasing assay. Results:In the in vitro cell co-culture system,rhIL-18 rapidly induces activation of the cytolytic responses against various tumor cell lines mediated by PBMNCs.The rapid induction within 24 h of culture was dependent on the dosage of rhIL-18,with the optimal dose of 100 ng/ml of the cytokine. The activated cytotoxicities were abrogated by deleting NK cells prior to the cell co-culture but did not vary when either T cells or DCs were removed. The cytotoxic responses were shown as a pattern of broad-spectrum to the target cells used and were not blocked by anti-MHC moAbs.Conclusion:NK cells were responsible for the rapid induction of cytotoxicities against tumor cells by rhIL-18.

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1993;0(06):-
The ergonomics of equipment is important,it is essential to make the ergonomic evaluation in the stage of design. The operation of expanded shelter is a typical form of combination of human labor and machine. The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is founded. The high-level factor set include the states of operation, the ratio of every state time to the total time is the corresponding weight for the elements in high-level factor set, the lower-level factor set include the elements which influence the states of operation. For the elements in lower-level factor set, the corresponding weight is given by the experts.

Objective To detect the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interleukin 10 (IL-10) in the plasma of patients with ulcerative colitis (UC); To investigate the clinical efficacy ofBaitouweng Decoction for UC and its influence on intestinal mucosal healing and partial mechanism. Methods Totally 66 patients with UC were randomly assigned to the treatment group and the control group. Patients in the treatment group were treated with Baitouweng Decoction (oral and enema treatment) and those in the control group took Mesalazine for 4 weeks. Before and after treatment, the therapeutic effects were assessed by Mayo scoring system and the grading of activities was evaluated by Baron Endoscope. Serum levels of TNF-α and IL-10 were detected by ELISA. Besides, another 20 healthy volunteers were recruited as the healthy control group for comparison. Results The endoscopic remission rate was 51.4% (19/35) in treatment group, higher than that of the control group (25.8%, 8/31,P<0.05). The clinical remission rate and efficacy rate in the treatment group were 74.2% and 88.6% respectively, higher than those of the control group (45.1% and 64.5%,P<0.05). The histological remission rate and efficacy rate in the treatment group were 25.7% and 54.3% respectively, higher than those of the control group (16.1% and 35.5%), without statistical significance (P>0.05). Serum levels of TNF-α were obviously positive correlated with Mayo score, Baron score and histology score (r=0.836, 0.735, 0.527,P<0.01). Serum levels of IL-10 were obviously negative correlated with Mayo score, Baron score and histology score (r=-0.704, -0.695, -0.509,P<0.01). Compared with pre-treatment, the serum levels of TNF-α significantly decreased (P<0.01), while the serum levels of IL-10 significantly increased (P<0.01) after treatment withBaitouweng Decoction.ConclusionBaitouweng Decoction (oral and enema treatment) is effective and safe in patients with UC. Its effects might be involved in regulating the imbalance of pro-inflammatory factors and anti-inflammatory factors, and promoting mucosal healing.
