ABSTRACT Calcium homeostasis is of crucial importance for the function of cardial myocytes in normal electrical and mechanical processes. The sarcoplasmic reticular Ca-ATPase and the sar-colemmic Na/Ca exchanger contribute mainly to the steady state of calcium in the myoplasm. The Na/Ca exchanger serves as the principal calcium extrusion mechanism and regulates calcium content of the sarcoplasmic reticulum by regulating the resting [Ca2+]i level, through which the Na/Ca exchanger regulates the force of contraction sequentially. Very small calcium entry can trigger significant sarcoplasmic reticular calcium release (CICR). During the upstroke and plateau phasesof the action potential, There is evidence that indicates Ca2+ influx via the Na/Ca exchanger, and the depolarisation-induced calcium entry on Na/Ca exchange may contribute mainly to triggering intra-cellular calcium release. Na/Ca exchange should be reevaluated as a route through which Ca2+, as a triggering signal, enters cardiac myocyte during excitation-contraction coupling.

Objective To investigate the interaction of human testis sperm-associated antigen 4 like(SPAG4L) protein containing Sad,UNC-84(SUN) domain with nuclear envelop spectrin repeat proteins 3 (Nesprin-3) containing Klarsicht,ANC-1 and Syne homology (KASH) domain.Methods SPAC-4L protein domains were analyzed with the bioinformatics method.After the SPAG4L plasmid was transfected into Ntera-2 cells,the subcellular localization of SPAG4L was observed.The interaction of SPAG4L with Nesprin-3 was determined by immunofluorescence,co-immunoprecipitation(co-IP) and bimolecular fluorescence complementation (BiFC) technology,respectively.Results Bioinformatics analysis results showed that there was a transmembrane structure in SPAG4L protein.Subcellular localization results demonstrated that SPAG4L protein located in the nuclear membrane and cytoplasm.Immunofluorescence,Co-IP,and BiFC results showed that there was an interaction between SPAG4L and Nesprin-3,and that a LINC(linkers of the nucleoskeleton to the cytoskeletan) complex was formed.Conclusion SPAG4L may interact with Nesprin-3 to form a LINC complex,which is important for understanding the function of SPAG4L protein in spermatogenesis.

OBJECTIVE To improve the surveillance and control of hospital infection.METHODS A series of management surveillance network information system for hospital infection were established by using SQL Server 2000 as database and Delphi 7.0 as program tool.The system included hospital infection case surveillance subsystem,antibiotic rational usage subsystem and the interface program of hospital information subsystem.RESULTS The hospital surveillance network connected the hospital infection department with the medical laboratory department and inpatient department,so the hospital infection data could be shared by all departments of hospital.CONCLUSIONS The system can improve work efficiency of hospital infection surveillance.

Objective To explore the effect of HAPA theory based intervention on diet control behavior of patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).Methods 64 obese PCOS patients were randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group,32 cases in each group.The control group received routine health education,while the patients in the intervention group received HAPA theory based intervention.The diet control behavior and clinical monitoring indexes of patients were investigated before and 1 and 6 months after intervention.Results The behavior level of the intervention group on 1 month and 6 month after intervention was significant higher than that of the control group.The levels of BMI,FT,blood glucose level two hours after OGTT,follicle number of the intervention group after intervention were significantly lower than those of the control group.Conclusions The HAPA theory based intervention can improve the diet control behavior of PCOS patients,improve the effect of clinical treatment.

Objective To investigate the current situation and the development of autism rehabilitation service institutions in China. Methods The finance, supervision and management, recipients and rehabilitation standards of 117 autism rehabilitation service institutions were investigated with questionnaire and interview. Results Private service played an important role in autism rehabilitation, as 67.5% of all. The supervision was poor, and the age of the recipients were limited, and varied in standards of rehabilitation. Conclusion It is needed to support the private autism rehabilitation services with more supervision to make their service for all-age and more standardized.

Objective To study the correlation between the level of CaMKIV and essential hypertension (EH) in Shihezi community. Methods One hundred and forty-six patients with EH and 142 with normal blood pressure are enrolled from 15 communities in shihezi. We collected the clinical data, including blood pressure, body mass index, waist circumference, blood lipids. The serum level of CaMKIV was detected using an enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. Results The serum level of CaMKIV in the EH group was significantly lower than that in the normal blood pressure group (P < 0.05). The serum CaMKIV was negatively correlated with systolic BP and diastolic BP (r = -0.304, -0.452, all P < 0.05), with more obvious correlation with patients whose diastolic blood pressure was over 100 mmHg (r = -0.571, P < 0.05). Conclusions The serum level of CaMKIV is negatively correlated with EH, which is an independent factor of EH.

Objective To investigate the correlation of cyclophilin A (CyPA) level in patients with essential hyperten?sion(EH)in Xinjiang Xibo and Mongolia populations and to investigate its clinical significance. Methods EH patients (n=76) and healthy control subjects (n=62) were selected from Xinjiang Xibo populations. On the other hand, EH patients (n=66)and healthy control subjects (n=57) were selected from Xinjiang Mongolia populations. Serum cyclophilin A was measured using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). Parameters such as age, body mass index(BMI), waist, waist hip ratio, blood pressure were measured in each group. The correlation of cyclophilin A with each parameter was analyzed. Results The levels of serum cyclophilin A in EH patients in Xinjiang Xibo and Xinjiang Mongolia populations were significantly high?er than those in their corresponding healthy control groups(P<0.05). Serum cyclophilin A in patients with essential hyperten?sion(EH)in Xinjiang Mongolia population was signifantly higher than that in EH patients from Xinjiang Xibo population (P<0.05). There was a positive correlation between serum cyclophilin A level and occurance of EH in both Xinjiang Xibo and Xinjiang Mongolia populations. Conclusion The serum cyclophilin A is significant higher in EH patients in both Xinji?ang Xibo and Xinjiang Mongolia populations so it is positively correlated with occurance of EH (P<0.05). Cyclophilin A lev?el is a risk factor of essential hypertension in both Xinjiang Xibo and Xinjiang Mongolia populations.

Objective To study the expression of copper transport protein 1 in the inner ear of rat and the changes of CTR1 expression after those round window niche copper sulfate and cisplatin infusion .Methods 24 male wistar rats were randomly divided into 4 groups :Group I as the normal control group (nontreatment group);Group II as the round window niche cisplatin infusion group(0 .5 mg/ml);Group III as the round window niche cisplatin infusion group (1 mg/ml);group IV as the round window niche copper sulfate infusion (0 .02 mg/kg) .The CTR1 protein was detected by the immunohistochemical (IHC) otaining and Western-blot ,and the CTR1mRNA expres‐sion levels were detected by RT -PCR .Results The expression of CTR1 protein was observed in the cytoplasm and cell membrane of Corti organ cells ,spiral ganglion cells and stria vascularis in all groups .The average optical densi‐ties of CTR1 protein was a downward trend .The expression of CTR1 protein was observed in four different groups . The optical density analysis of CTR1 showed that the optical densities were 0 .532 ± 0 .031 ,0 .394 ± 0 .024 ,0 .234 ± 0 .030 and 0 .191 ± 0 .015 ,respectively .There was a downward trend ,and there were statistically differences among the groups (P<0 .05) .The CTR1 mRNA was observed in all groups .The optical density analysis of CTR1 mRNAshowed that the optical densities were 0 .508 ± 0 .035 ,0 .391 ± 0 .022 ,0 .240 ± 0 .02 and 0 .186 ± 0 .021 ,respective‐ly .It had a downward trend and were statistically differences among the groups (P<0 .05) .Conclusion The CTR1 protein was abundantly expressed in Corti organ ,spiral ganglion cells and stria vascularis of the cochlea .The round window cisplatin and copper sulfate infusion can change the expression of CTR1 proteins in inner ear .

Objective To investigate the factors implicated in the outcomes of patients with invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA).Methods During a 5-year period,65 patients with IPA met the criteria set by the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer/Mycoses Study Group (EORTC/MSG)in 2008 were retrospectively evaluated. The initial CT findings of eligible patients were reviewed by two senior radiologists who specialized in chest radiology.Patients were divided into the survivor (n =43 ) and non-survivor (n =22) groups according to their survival as long as 3 months after the diagnosis of IPA was made.An initial univariate analysis was used to screen variables that were related to prognosis,followed by a multivariate logistic regression analysis to examine these variables. Results Of the 65 IPA patients analyzed,23 (35％) had a proven diagnosis and 42 (65％) were probable ones.The univariate analysis showed that the rates of extra-pulmonary infection,uncontrolled underlying diseases and invasive mechanical ventilation were significantly different between the 3-month survival group and the non-survival group ( P ＜0.05,respectively),whereas chest CT findings,including air-space consolidation/massive consolidation,macronodules,infarct-like macronodules,halo signs, ground-glass opacities,small nodules,hypodense signs,cavities,crescent signs,small-airway findings,bronchial wall thickening/bronchiectasis,pleural effusion and hydro-pericardium, were not significantly different between the two groups (P ＞ O.05,respectively).Logistic regression analysis revealed that an uncontrolled underlying disease was the only independent predictor of 3-month mortality in patients with IPA (P =0.001,OR:O.024,95 ％ CI:O.003 ～0.223,B =- 3.714,SE =1.129,Wald =10.821 ). Conclusions An uncontrolled co-morbidity was the only independent predictor of mortality within 3 months in patients with IPA.The initial CT findings did not confer any informatioin of implication in predicting the outcomes of IPA patients.

Purpose To investigate the value of arterial spin labeling (ASL) in evaluating renal function in patients with renal cell carcinoma (RCC) after laparoscopic partial nephrectomy.Materials and Methods Fifteen patients with RCC undergoing laparoscopic partial nephrectomy were studied prospectively.The patients were performed ASL scan one week before and three months after operation.The correlation between renal blood flow (RBF) value measured by ASL and the glomerular filtration rate (GFR) measured by radionuclide method in the renal cortex of healthy side was analyzed.The RBF values in the kidney of affected side or healthy side were measured,the difference of which between before operation and three months after operation was compared.Results The RBF value and GFR data in the renal cortex of healthy side had positive correlation (r=0.638,P＜0.05).In the affected side of kidney,the RBF value of remaining renal tissue [(291.5 ± 37.3) ml/(100g·min)] compared with that of preoperative renal tissue [(237.8 ± 46.2) ml/(100g·min)]increased about 53.7 ml/(100g · min) (P＜0.05).In the healthy side of kidney,the RBF value of renal tissue [(241.1 ± 50.3) ml/(100 g · min)] compared with that of preoperative renal tissue [(290.4 ± 51.8) ml/(100 g·min)] decreased about 49.3 ml/(100 g·min) (P＜0.05).Conclusion ASL can be used to evaluate renal function,and it is valuable to evaluate renal perfusion function after laparoscopic partial nephrectomy of RCC.
