2.The effect of Gangshu lotion on treatment of anorectal disease: report of 75 cases

Objective To observe the effect of Gangshu lotion on treatment of anorectal disease. Methods 125 patients with anotectal disease were randomly divided into two groups. Treatment group 75 cases, using Gangshu lotion; control group 50 cases, using 1:5000pp sitz bath; 2 weeks are one course of treatment, the efficacy was evaluated after 1 course of treatment. Results The effects of treatment group were better than that of control group (P<0.01) and there was a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.01). Conclusion Gangshu lotion had good curative effect in improving the symptoms such as pain, hemorrhage, edema, pruritus and so on.
3.Effect of histone acetylation and deacetylation on bronchial asthma

The modification of histone is an important mechanism of epigenetics,furthermore histone acetylation and deacetylation is one of the key modifications of histone.There are enhanced expression of histone acetylation and reduced expression and activity of histone deacetylases in asthma,which lead to the unbalance.Glucocoticoids modulate the inflammation of airway in asthma through restoring the balance of the two kinds of enzymes.Theophylline can restore the activity of histone deacetylation in steroid-resistant athma,thereby restoring corticosteroid function.It maybe a new way to find selective histone acetyltransferase inhibitors to therapy asthma.
4.The Equity Problem of Colleges Entrance Examination's Subjects and Content Reform

In recent colleges entrance examination's reform , the subjects and content reform especially catch our eyes and receive favorable effect. But there appear some phenomena, which in fact do harm to education equity. They mostly embody the contradiction of measuring ability and principle of equity and objectivity, and the contradiction of city value's tropism and equity, and the influence that other factors impose on subjects and content reform and so on. In colleges entrance examination's reform, we not only stick to the reform's major direction, but also rightly understand equity problem, and will advance subject and content reform with synthesis and balance state.

6.RELAVANCE OF LIVER STEM CELL GROWTH AND DIFFERENTIATION WITH RAT LIVER REGENERATION

Objective To study the function of liver stem cells during at liver regeneration(LR) at transcriptional level.Methods The liver stem cell growth-and differentiation-related genes were obtained by data collection and literature review,and the gene expressions in rat regenerating liver were checked by Rat Genome 230 2.0 array.The relativity of the LR-associated genes was identified by comparing the discrepancy of gene expression changes between partial hepatectomy(PH) group and sham operation(SO) group.Results Fifty genes were found to be related with liver regeneration.The initial and total expressing gene numbers occurring in the initiation phase of liver regeneration(0.5-4 hours after PH),G_0/G_1 transition(4-6 hours after PH),cell proliferation(6-66 hours after PH),cell differentiation and structure-function reconstruction(72-168 hours after PH) were 24,10,21,2 and 24,23,46,26 respectively,indicating that the related genes were mainly triggered during the initiation phase,and worked at different phases.The total frequencies of their up-and down-regulation expression were 153 and 123 respectively,demonstrating that the expression of the major genes increased,and the minority decreased.Their expression profiles were classified into 6 types,indicating that the activities mentioned above were diverse and complicated during liver regeneration.Conclusion The growth and differentiation of liver stem cells are enhanced during liver regeneration.
7.Multi-Teaching in Traditional Rehabilitation Approaches in Higher Vocational Education

Objective To explore the effects of multi-teaching mode on traditional rehabilitation approaches in higher vocational education.Methods The students from 2007 rehabilitation class as the control group (n=35) were taught with routine mode and the students from 2008 rehabilitation class as experimental group (n=60) were taught with multi-teaching mode. The result of the examination and the questionnaire was compared after one semester. Results The experimental group got higher scores in examination of theory and practice than the control group (P<0.05). The result of questionnaire showed that the experimental group acquired more increase in some aspects such as the interest of study and self-study ability than the control group. Conclusion The multi-teaching mode may be easily accepted by students and can help them learn more knowledge effectively than before.
8.Three-dimensional finite element model of calcaneus and talus during different gait phases

Objective:To establish a 3 dimensional finite element model of calcaneus and talus for analysing their stress distribution during different gait phases. Methods: CT scanning and computer image processing system were used to establish the model to simulate the situation of calcaneus and talus for 3 phases (heel strike, midstance, push off) during the gait. A finite element solver was used to calculate stress. Results: A three dimensional finite element model of calcaneus and talus was established. And the stress distribution within the bone was obtained and regions with elevated stress at 3 phases were located. The stress distributions of 3 phases were significantly different. The stress increased gradually from heel strike to push off. Conclusion:The model can be used to study biomechanics of calcaneus and talus. The regions of elevated stress of calcaneus and talus are important, which provide an insight into the factors contributing to the fractures and arthritis.
9.Investigation of injury causes,ages and injury spectrum of traumatic inpatient

Objective To discuss the change of injury causes,ages and injury spectrum of traumatic inpatient recent years.Methods Clinical data of traumatic inpatient from 2000 to 2004 were analyzed.A total of 2 319 cases with trauma were divided into four groups:adolescent group (<13 years old),youth group (13~44 years old),middle age group (45~64 years old) and elderly group (≥65 years old).Traumatic condition was evaluated by abridged injury score-injury severity score (AIS-ISS) Results From 2000 to 2004,the number of traumatic inpatient increased every year.In all cases,youth and middle age accounted for 87%.Traffic accident was the leading cause of injury,and injury by fall from height acted as the secondary injury cause in youth group and middle age group,as well as slip fall injury in adolescent group and elderly group.Of all cases,there were slight trauma (AIS<3 or ISS<16) in 1 335 cases,severe trauma (AIS≥3 or ISS≥16) in 984 case.Operation was performed in 1 249 cases and nonoperation was performed in 1070 cases.In all groups,73 patients were died.The overall mortality rate was 3.14%.Conclusion With the development of society,the occurrence rate of trauma increases accordingly.The youth and middle age were high risk groups.It was necessary and urgent to strengthen the traffic administration and carry out education on safety so as to decreas the incidence of trauma caused by all kinds of factors.
10.Clinical significance of serum hsCRP,Hcy and carotid atherosclerosis detection in patients with CHD complicated atrial fibrillation

Objective:To explore the significance measuring serum levels of high sensitive C reactive protein (hsCRP),ho-mocysteine (Hcy)and carotid atherosclerosis lesion in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD)complicated atrial fibril-lation (AF).Methods:A total of 84 CHD + AF patients (CHD + AF group),42 CHD patients with sinus rhythm (sinus rhythm CHD group)and 40 healthy subjects (healthy control group)were selected.CHD + AF group was further divided into paroxysmal AF group (n=31),persistent AF group (n=27)and permanent AF group (n=26).Serum levels of hsCRP and Hcy and carotid intima-media thickness (IMT)were measured in all groups,and Crouse integral of atheroscle-rotic plaques was calculated.Results:Compared with healthy control group,there were significant rise in serum levels of hsCRP [(4.97±2.14)mg/L vs.(8.96±3.75)mg/L vs.(6.83±2.91)mg/L],Hcy [(15.48±4.36)μmol/L vs.(23.64 ±7.06)μmol/L vs.(17.76±4.83)μmol/L],IMT [(1.21±0.15)mm vs.(1.71±0.19)mm vs.(1.36±0.17)mm]and plaque Crouse integral [(4.13±1.06)scores vs.(7.89±1.35)scores vs.(4.96±1.21)scores]in CHD + AF group and sinus rhythm CHD group,P <0.05 or <0.01;and those of CHD + AF group were significantly higher than those of sinus rhythm CHD group,P <0.01 all,compared with paroxysmal AF group,there were significant rise in serum levels of hsCRP,Hcy,IMT and plaque Crouse integral in permanent AF group and persistent AF group (P <0.05 or <0.01),and those of permanent AF group were significantly higher than those of persistent AF group (P <0.05 or <0.01);Pearson correlation analysis indicated that in CHD + AF group,serum levels of hsCRP and Hcy were positively correlated with AF duration (r =0.619,0.527,P<0.05 both),and positively correlated with Crouse integral of carotid plaque (r =0.438, 0.561,P<0.05 both),and Crouse integral of carotid plaque was positively correlated with AF duration (r =0.624,P <0.05).Conclusion:Inflammatory reaction,oxidative stress and carotid atherosclerosis are more severe in CHD + AF pa-tients,and they aggravate along with AF duration prolongs.
