2.Effect of histone acetylation and deacetylation on bronchial asthma
International Journal of Pediatrics 2010;37(4):384-387
The modification of histone is an important mechanism of epigenetics, furthermore histone acetylation and deacetylation is one of the key modifications of histone. There are enhanced expression of histone acetylation and reduced expression and activity of histone deacetylases in asthma, which lead to the unbalance.Glucocoticoids modulate the inflammation of airway in asthma through restoring the balance of the two kinds of enzymes.Theophylline can restore the activity of histone deacetylation in steroid-resistant athma, thereby restoring corticosteroid function. It maybe a new way to find selective histone acetyltransferase inhibitors to therapy asthma.

4.RELAVANCE OF LIVER STEM CELL GROWTH AND DIFFERENTIATION WITH RAT LIVER REGENERATION
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1957;0(04):-
Objective To study the function of liver stem cells during at liver regeneration(LR) at transcriptional level. Methods The liver stem cell growth-and differentiation-related genes were obtained by data collection and literature review, and the gene expressions in rat regenerating liver were checked by Rat Genome 230 2.0 array. The relativity of the LR-associated genes was identified by comparing the discrepancy of gene expression changes between partial hepatectomy(PH) group and sham operation(SO) group. Results Fifty genes were found to be related with liver regeneration. The initial and total expressing gene numbers occurring in the initiation phase of liver regeneration(0.5-4 hours after PH),G_0/G_1 transition(4-6 hours after PH),cell proliferation(6-66 hours after PH),cell differentiation and structure-function reconstruction(72-168 hours after PH) were 24,10,21,2 and 24,23,46,26 respectively, indicating that the related genes were mainly triggered during the initiation phase, and worked at different phases. The total frequencies of their up-and down-regulation expression were 153 and 123 respectively, demonstrating that the expression of the major genes increased, and the minority decreased.Their expression profiles were classified into 6 types, indicating that the activities mentioned above were diverse and complicated during liver regeneration. Conclusion The growth and differentiation of liver stem cells are enhanced during liver regeneration.
5.The Equity Problem of Colleges Entrance Examination's Subjects and Content Reform
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2002;0(01):-
In recent colleges entrance examination's reform , the subjects and content reform especially catch our eyes and receive favorable effect. But there appear some phenomena, which in fact do harm to education equity. They mostly embody the contradiction of measuring ability and principle of equity and objectivity, and the contradiction of city value's tropism and equity, and the influence that other factors impose on subjects and content reform and so on. In colleges entrance examination's reform, we not only stick to the reform's major direction, but also rightly understand equity problem, and will advance subject and content reform with synthesis and balance state.

7.Multi-Teaching in Traditional Rehabilitation Approaches in Higher Vocational Education
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2011;17(5):493-494
Objective To explore the effects of multi-teaching mode on traditional rehabilitation approaches in higher vocational education. Methods The students from 2007 rehabilitation class as the control group (n=35) were taught with routine mode and the students from 2008 rehabilitation class as experimental group (n=60) were taught with multi-teaching mode. The result of the examination and the questionnaire was compared after one semester. Results The experimental group got higher scores in examination of theory and practice than the control group (P<0.05). The result of questionnaire showed that the experimental group acquired more increase in some aspects such as the interest of study and self-study ability than the control group. Conclusion The multi-teaching mode may be easily accepted by students and can help them learn more knowledge effectively than before.
8.Risk factors analysis for the peptic ulcer bleeding in elderly patients
Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2011;30(4):310-312
Objective To explore the risk factors for peptic ulcer bleeding in elderly patients. Methods The 414 patients with upper gastrointestinal ulcer bleeding in Xuanwu Hospital from January 2001 to January 2006 were enrolled. The patients were divided into elderly group (≥ 60years,n= 183 ) and non-elderly group ( < 60 years,n= 231 ).The coexisting diseases and hemorrhage causes were compared and analyzed. Results The detection rate of coexisting diseases was significantly higher in elderly group than in non-elderly group (68.9% vs.10.0% ).The hemorrhage causes included the taking of drugs for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases or osteoarthropathy in elderly group. And the fatigue, stress and dietary upset were the main causes in non-elderly group.Helicobacter pylori infection rate was 35.0% in the elderly and 58.0% in young patients. Conclusions It is very important to promote rational use of anticoagulant drugs and analgesic agents in elderly patients for managing peptic ulcer complication.

Incidence of knee periprosthetic fractures after total knee arthropoasty is increased, and is a challenging clinical problem. Treatment options include conservative and operative methods. Only the doctor have sufficient and systematic understanding of periprosthetic fractures and consider both advantages and dis-advantages before deciding the appropriate treatment, the satisfying treatment outcome will be got. we re-viewde the type, treatment methods and outcomes of periprosthetie fractures of total knee arthroplasty repor-ted in recent years.
10.Effect of atorvastatin on myocardial fibrosis induced by aldosterone
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2010;26(2):227-232
AIM: To investigate the effects and mechanisms of atorvastatin on myocardial fibrosis induced by aldosterone in SD rats. METHODS: Forty male uninephrectomized SD rats were limited to drink 1% NaCl water for 4 weeks and assigned to the follow groups: vehicle control rats (CON group);aldosterone treated rats (ALD group);spironolactone + aldosterone treated rats(SPI+ALD group);atorvastatin + aldosterone treated rats (ATO+ALD group). Blood pressure was measured by catheterization. Expression of platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF-A, PDGF-B), platelet-derived growth factor receptor (PDGFR-α, PDGFR-β) and ectodermal dysplasia-1 (ED-1) were analyzed by immunohistochemistry. Collagen volume fraction (CVF) and perivascular collagen area (PVCA) were analyzed by Sirius-Red staining. Myocardium osteopontin protein was detected by Western blotting analysis. RESULTS: Mean arterial blood pressure in ALD group, SPI+ALD group and ATO+ALD group was elevated, and significant difference was observed between the three groups and vehicle control group (P<0.01 or P<0.05). Myocardial fibrosis was observed in ALD group. Compared to other three groups, the index of CVF and PVCA was increased significantly (P<0.01 or P<0.05). No significant difference of the index of CVF and PVCA between ATO+ALD group and SPI+ALD group was observed (P>0.05). Compared to other groups, the levels of PDGF-A, PDGF-B, PDGFR-α, ED-1 and OPN in ALD group were significantly increased (P<0.01 or P<0.05). The levels of PDGF-A, PDGF-B, PDGFR-α and OPN were no significant difference between ATO+ALD group and SPI+ALD group (P<0.01 or P<0.05). However, the level of ED-1 in ATO+ALD group was significantly decreased compared to SPI+ALD group (P<0.05). No significant difference of PDGFR-β level among four groups was found (P>0.05). CONCLUSION: These results suggest that atorvastatin may attenuate myocardial fibrosis induced by aldosterone. The mechanisms concern with reduction of macrophage infiltration, expression of inflammatory cytokines OPN, partially inhibition of platelet-derived growth factor and its receptor expression.
