Objective To investigate the clinical value of combined test of prealbumin (PA),total bile acid(TBA)and liver bi-opsy in chronic hepatitis. Methods 172 patients hospitalized with chronic hepatitis in the Affiliated Hospital of Yan’an Uni-versity Medical College from October,2013 to March,2014 was collected as the chronic hepatitis group;and 45 cases of nor-mal healthy control of the corresponding period was collected as the control group.Prealbumin,TBA was detected respec-tively in the two groups.Immunoturbidimetry was adopted in PA,Enzymatic cycling assay was employed in TBA,and at the same time percutaneous puncture of liver histology was detected in the chronic hepatitis group. Results The PA in the chro-nic hepatitis group (179.12±8.46 mg/L)was lower than the control group (257.34±6.38 mg/L),and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).The TBA in the chronic hepatitis group (30.58±9.37 μmol/L)was higher than the con-trol group (8.16±1.59 μmol/L)and also the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).PA was negatively correla-ted with the pathological grades (rs =-0.617,P <0.05),and TBA was positively correlated with pathological grades (rs =0.724,P <0.05).The separate diagnostic positive rate of PA was 58.7% (101/172),while the TBA was 93.6% (161/172).The combined diagnostic positive rate of the two was 93.6% (161/172),it was higher than the separate rate and was statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion The serum levels of PA and TBA can reflect the extent and degree of hypo-hepatia and hepatic inflammation, and the combined detection of the two will be much sensitive to the diagnosis of chronic hepatitis, and compared with histological detection,it is convenient, simple, and easy to operate.

Objective To investigate the effect of schisandrin (SCH) treatment on learning and memory abilities and their mechanism in APP/PS1 dual transgenic dementia mice, and explore the effect of Chinese medicine on Alzheimer's disease (AD).Methods Thirty-five APP/PS1 dementia mouse models were randomly assigned into APP/PS1 model group (n=17) and APP/PS1+SCH group (n=18);another 10 male C57BL/6J mice were chosen as blank control group. The mice in the APP/PS1+SCH group were given intragastric administration of SCH at 2.6 mg/(kg· d) for 30 d;the mice in the APP/PS1 model group and blank control group were treated with distilled water for 30 d.The learning and memory abilities of these APP/PS1 mice (n=7) were detected by Morris water maze.Mice from the three groups were sacrificed;Nissl staining was used to observe Nissl bodies of neurons in brain tissues;real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR (qPCR) was used to detect the mRNA content of terminal glycosylationend products receptor (RAGE) in brain tissues;Western blotting was used to detect the expressions of RAGE and phosphorylated P38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (p-p38) in brain tissues. Results (1) The results of water maze space exploration experiment showed that the times of crossing the platform area in the three groups were statistically significant (P<0.05);as compared with the APP/PS1 modelgroup, the times of crossing the platform area in the APP/PS1+SCH group were significantly increased (P<0.05).(2) Nissl staining results showed that the contents of Nissl bodies in the hippocampal CA1 area and cortical neurons of the APP/PS 1 model group were significantly reduced, with light staining and cell body atrophy;the lesions in mice of the APP/PS1+SCH group were less severe than those of APP/PS1 model group, some neurons were atrophic, and the content of the neuronal nileite bodies in the hippocampal CA1 region was relatively abundant.(3) The qPCR results showed that there were statistically significant differences in RAGE mRNA expression levels in the cortex and hippocampus of the three groups (P<0.05);as compared with the APP/PS1 model group, the APP/PS1+SCH group had significantly reduced RAGE mRNA expression in the hippocampal area (P<0.05).(4) Western blotting results showed that RAGE and p-p38 protein expression levels in two parts of mice of APP/PS1+SCH group were significantly reduced as compared with those in the APP/PS1 model group (P<0.05).Conclusion SCH may improve the functional status of hippocampal and cortical neurons and improve the spatial exploratory memory ability of APP/PS1 mice by down regulating the RAGE and P38 expressions.

Objective To explore the effect of central venous pressure waveforms on the location of power PICC tip. Methods From January 2015 to December 2015, we placed power PICC for 47 patients in our intensive care unit. The CVP waveforms were applied to detect any displacement into small thoracic veins after a four-step localization method. The position of the catheter tip was finally confirmed by X-ray inspection. Results Among the 47 cases undergoing PICC implantation, 45(95.75%) displayed a typical CVP waveform, with the catheter tip positions were located in the superior vena cava inferior segment, 1 (2.13%) displayed a typical CVP waveform, with the catheter tip was misplaced into axillary vein and retraced and 1(2.13%) did not display typical CVP waveforms and CVP value was negative, with the catheter tip was in left internal jugular vein. To locate the catheter tip position with CVP waveform and chest X-rang were 100.00%the same. Conclusions The central venous pressure waveform can be used to determine whether the catheter tip is located in the inferior segment of the superior vena cava or not immediately after the placement of a power PICC. However, chest X-ray inspection conformation is still needed.

Acupuncture has a certain effect for the patients with post-stroke depression. In clinics, acupuncture treat this disease from the brain, liver and kidney, heart and spleen, and phlegm and blood stasis. Acupuncture plays a role in nourishing the bone of marrow, regulating the liver and kidney, nourishing the heart and mind, and invigorating the spleen and stomach. Acupuncture plays an antidepressant role by regulating neurotransmitters and receptors, promoting nerve function repair, inhibiting the secretion of inflammatory factors, reducing inflammatory response, inhibiting the hyperfunction of hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, and regulating the brain-gut axis.
