Objective To characterize the molecular changes and their significance in pathogenesis of esophageal squamous cell carcinomas from the elderly patients (≥60 years old) at high risk area of esophageal cancer in Linzhou, Henan Province. Objective To explore the diagnostic value of dual syringe and dual-channel direct multi-slice computed tomography venography(MSCTV) for lower extremity deep venous obstructive disease.Methods 100 patients highly suspected deep vein thrombosis by clinic wereunderwent dual syringe and dual-channel direct MSCTV.The original data processed with technology of subtraction,and put into workstation and reconstructed with maximum intensity projection(MIP),multiplanar reformation(MPR) and volume rendering (VR).Images of deep venous obstructive lesions were analysed and graded.All patients were underwent DSA in one week.Results Direct MSCTV showed that the reconstructed images and the vascular contrast were very clear.In the evaluation of deep venous,excellent proportion was 95 ％ for the inferior vena cava,94 ％ for the common iliac vein,95 ％ for the external iliac vein,95.5 ％ for the femoral vein,96.5％ for the popliteal vein and 92 ％ for the low leg vein.Direct MSCTV displayed complete and regular vein in 8 normal patients,92 cases displayed different parts and different degrees of thrombosis.On original axial images,eccentric filling defect of vascular were showed (there were 64 multiple vein occlusion cases and 28 solitary obstruction cases).The occlusion locations in deep venous were as following:3 in the inferior vena cava,67 in the common iliac vein,28 in the external iliac vein,50 in the femoral vein,26 in the popliteal vein,89 in the anterior tibial vein,35 in the posterior tibial vein and 5 in the peroneal vein.There were 7 normal patients and 93 patients with different parts and different degrees of thrombosis.Conclusion Direct MSCTV can accurately show deep vein thrombosis,which image is clear and reliable for displaying the scope and extent of lesions of the vascular and whether the collateral circulation established.Direct MSCTV has a significant clinical value in diagnosing the thrombotic disease of deep vein obstructive lesions.

This study aimed at verifying a previous patented fraud detection method of propolis.In accordance with the patented process,the chromatographic separation was achieved on a Kromasil 100-5C18 column (250 mm × 4.6 mm,5 tm) as mobile phrase A was methanol and mobile phrase B was water (0.5％ phosphoric acid) at the flow rate of 1 mL· min-1 for gradient elution.The detection wave length was 296 nm.Fraudpropolin A was taken as the reference,while the known sources of natural propolis were determined by HPLC.As a result,no fraudpropolin A was detected in the 134 sources of natural propolis at different types or from various origins.It was concluded that the patented process was sound in the fraud detection method of propolis.

Objective To investigate the therapeutic efficacy of combining Kangfuxin solution with compound Bingpengsan on patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with pressure sores. Methods Fifty-two diabetes mellitus patients complicated with pressure sores admitted in Department of Emergency in the PLA 155th Central Hospital were divided into observation group and control group by lot method,26 cases in each group. Observation group was treated by combining Kangfuxin solution with compound Bingpengsan,the control group was given Mepliex application therapy,they all had change of dressing once a day. After treatment for 20 days,the therapeutic efficacy of pressure sore,healing time and frequency of changing dressing were observed. Results The total effective rate in observation group was significantly higher than that of control group〔96.1%(25/26)vs. 80.6%(21/26),P<0.05〕, in the observation group,the pressure sore healing time was significantly shorter than that of the control group(day:Ⅱstage:9.5±1.7 vs. 13.0±2.1,Ⅲstage:13.1±3.1 vs. 18.1±5.1,Ⅳstage:15.3±3.7 vs. 19.6±5.9,all P<0.05)and the number of times of changing dressing was significantly reduced compared with that of control group (times:Ⅱ stage:16.39±1.89 vs. 19.32±2.26,Ⅲ stage:19.56±2.52 vs. 22.36±2.69,Ⅳ stage:23.54±2.86 vs. 26.47±3.96,all P<0.05). Conclusion The Kangfuxin solution combined with compound Bingpengsan for treatment of deep pressure ulcers in patients with diabetes mellitus has significant effect,its cure rate is relatively high,the pressure sore healing time is reduced and the patients' suffering is alleviated.

Objective To obtain the auditory brainstem response (ABR)wave of normal adult mice ,and to analyze the thresholds ,latency and amplitudes to provide reference for future mice auditory research .Methods To determine the thresholds according to the high occurrence rate wave of click ABR at high (90 dB SPL) ,moderate (40 dB SPL)and low(20 dB SPL)sound intensities .thresholds ,latencies and amplitudes decreased as the wave with high occurrence rate .Results The occurrence rates of wave I ,II ,III ,IV ,and V were 100% ,100% ,100% ,75% 65% at high levels ;75% ,100% ,100% ,45% ,40% at moderate levels ,and 30% ,90% ,40% ,5% ,0% at low levels ,respec-tively .The results showed wave morphology was suitable to judging thresholds :the average threshold was 20 ± 5 .62 dB SPL ,latency and amplitude ranged from 2 .71 ± 0 .17~3 .08 ± 021 ms and 6 .20 ± 2 .24~1 .63 ± 0 .85 μV ,respectively , when sound intensities changed from 90 to 20 dB SPL .Conclusion Wave II is regarded as the best wave to determine threshold latency and amplitude .It will help future researches about mice auditory under pathophysiology conditions .

During the mission of Peace friendship-2015, between September 2015 and January 2016,the Chinese Navy hospital ship respectively participated in the Harmony-2015joint military exercise in Malaysia and with the local military of Polynesia and Barbados .The article summarized the relevant background of the joint military exercise and the main practices in various stages .This article also suggests that the emergency platform be moved forward , the function of the triage area be expanded, basic life support(BLS),advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS),and advanced trauma life support(ATLS) training programs be introduced, the training model and the test system be innovated , and realistic traumatic conditions be designed in order to guarantee the success of the joint exercise .

On Sept 7, 2015, Chinese hospital ship Ark Peace left its home-port in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, forHarmony Mission-2015, the fifth in a series of annual international humanitarian and free medical assistance endeavors by the PLA Navy.This mission lasted 142 days, involving a visit to Malaysia and participation in Peace Friendship-2015 exercise,before she was dispatched to seven countries (regions) including Australia, Polynesia, USA, Mexico, Barbados, Grenada, Peru and provided a wide range of medical , humanitarian assistance to the last four countries .A total of 12 589 patients were treated on the main platform , 4852 patients by the 29 fore-lying medical corps , 59 surgeries performed , 46 patients hospitalized ,and 7130 CT and DR et al auxiliary examinations conducted during four mission stops .We organized academic exchanges , visits and interviews , get-togethers , dynamic and static exhibitions in each country .The experience from Harmony mission-2015is of great significance for such tasks in the future .

ObjectiveTo study the levels of Tau protein and β amyloid protein(Aβ) in cerebrospinal fluid(CSF) in patients with mild cognitive impairment(MCI) and their significance of diagnosis. MethodsSensitive enzyme linked immunosorbent assay were performed to detect the CSF levels of Tau protein and Aβ in 32 patients with MCI and 15 healthy controls. ResultsSignificant elevation of the level of Tau protein and decrease of the level of the Aβ were observed in patients with MCI compared with healthy controls.ConclusionThe assays of the CSF Tau and Aβprotein levels can provide valuable biological marker for the diagnoses and treatment of MCI.

Objective To investigate the relationship between expression of DAS-1 in gastric cardia intestinal metaplasia(CIM)and gastric cardia adenocarcinoma (GCA). Methods The cancerous tissues and CIM tissues (2 cm apart from caneer) obtained from 65 patients with GCA were examined for the expression of DAS-1 protein using immunohistoehemistry. The CIM tissues (<2 cm below Z line) obtained from 15 outpatients and inflammatory mucosa from 25 outpatients were also examined for expression of DAS-1 protein. Results The type Ⅲ IM was accounted for 55.4% (36/65) in GCA patients, which was significantly higher than that in outpatients [13.3% (2/15), P<0.01]. The positive rate of DAS-1 expression in cancerous tissues [78.5 % (51/65)] was also significantly higher than that in CIM tissues [38.8 %(30/80), P<0.01]. The expression of DAS-1 protein in IM tissues was gradually increased from type Ⅰ (0%) to type Ⅲ (71.1%) with positive correlation (P<0.01). Conclusions The type Ⅲ IM with over-expression of DAS-1 is closely related to GCA, which might be one of important precancerous lesions for GCA.
