[Abstract ] Objective Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is closely related to pulmonary hypertension .This study was to investigate the correlation of the expression of high mobility group protein B 1 ( HMGB1) with its synthesis and secretion of interferon-γ( IFN-γ) in the distal pulmonary arterial smooth muscle cells ( PASMCs ) of COPD rats and its clinical significance . Methods We established COPD models in rats , primarily cultured and identified PASMCs , and detected the synthesis and secretion of cytokine in the PASMCs induced by cigarette smoke extract (CSE) and/or lipopolysaccharide (LPS).The PASMCs in the control, CSE, LPS, and CSE+LPS groups were cultured with anti-HMGB1 antibodies at 0.2 mL 1∶1000.At 12, 24, 48 and 72 hours of inter-vention, the expression of HMGB1 in the PASMCs was detected by Western blot and the concentrations of HMGB 1 and IFN-γin the cell culture supernatant were measured by ELISA , followed by a correlation analysis . Results Light microscopy manifested a peak -valley growth pattern or fusiform shape of the cells , which were identified as PASMCs by α-actin immunohistochemistry and immuno-fluorescence .Western blot and ELISA showed statistically significant differences in the expression of HMGB 1 and concentrations of cell supernatant HMGB1 and IFN-γat 12 hours between any two of the four groups (P<0.05).The HMGB1 expression level was positive-ly correlated with the concentration of IFN-γ(r=0.91), obviously decreased after 12 hours of intervention with anti-HMGB1 antibod-ies as compared with the corresponding experimental groups ( P <0.05).Western blot and ELISA showed no significant differences within the same group at 12, 24, 48 and 72 hours (P>0.05). Conclusion The expression level of HMGB1 was positively correla-ted with the synthesis and secretion of IFN-γin the distal PASMCs of the COPD model rats , and anti-HMGB1 antibodies provide a new in-tervention target for the clinical treatment of COPD and inhibition of its systemic inflammatory response .

AlM: To measure ocular biometric values with the degree of axial myopia and determine the relationship between the differences using the Lenstar 900.
METHODS:Totally 413 myopes (826 eyes) were enrolled in this study and were divided into 3 groups: low myopia (myopia <3. 00 diopters, 104 eyes), moderate myopia ( myopia =3. 00-6. 00 diopters, 500 eyes) and high myopia ( myopia > 6. 00 diopters, 222 eyes ). Central corneal thickness ( CCT ) , aqueous depth ( AD ) , lens thickness (LT), axial length (AL) were measured by Lenstar 900. The parameters were tested using analysis of variance and the relations among SE, AL, LT were analyzed.
RESULTS: There were significant difference both in AL (F=206.16, P<0.01) and AD (F=4.764, P<0.05) and no significant difference both in CCT and LT between these myopia groups. With analysis of Person, the Spherical equivalent ( SE) shows a significantly positive correlation with AL (r=0. 662, P<0. 01) and AD (r=0. 095, P<0. 05), no correlation with CCT and LT. AL shows a significantly positive correlation with AD (r=0. 347, P<0. 01) and CCT (r=0.126, P<0.01), negative correlation with LT (r=-0.265, P<0. 01). LT shows a significantly negative correlation with AD (r=-0. 496, P<0. 01).
CONCLUSlON: Along with the diopters increasing in myopia, the axial length and aqueous depth continue to increase. Spherical equivalent ( SE) shows a significantly positive correlation with AD. AL shows positive correlation with SE, AD and CCT and negative correlation with LT. LT shows a significantly negative correlation with AD.

Objective To study the single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in IL-23R gene in Chinese Han population with ankylosing spondylitis (AS). Methods SNPs rs11209026, rs1343151, rs11209032 and another three SNPs near them based on their physical distances were genotyped by PCR-directed sequencing. Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, genotypes and allele frequency analysis were analyzed by SPSS 13.0. Linkage disequilibrium and haplotype analysis were carried out by SHEsis software. Results The difference of genotypes of rs11209032 and the difference of genotypes and allele frequencies of rs6677188 between patients and controls were statistically significant (P<O.01) ; The two SNPs rs11209032 and rs6677188 had strong linkage disequlibfium (D'=0.925, r2=0.561 ). Haplotype analysis had shown a higher proportion of GAC haplotype in patients and a higher proportion of GTC haplotype in controls. Conclusion These results suggest that IL-23R polymorphisms is associated with susceptibility to AS in Chinese Han population and IL-23R gene may be a susceptible gene of AS.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2020;41(11):1664-1667
Objective:
To explore the relationship between family cohesion, psychological resilience and non-suicidal self-injury among middle school students.
Methods:
By using the stratified random cluster sampling method, 2 065 students from 4 middle school from Fujian province were investigated with family cohesion scale, adolescent psychological resilience scale and adolescent self-injury behavior questionnaire.
Results:
The report rate of self-injury was 40.34%, which differed by childhood migration experiences, parenting style as well as academic pressure (χ2=11.66,29.45,12.48,P<0.01). Total scores and dimensional scales in family cohesion and psychological resilience showed significant differences in students with or without self-injury (t=-8.33,-12.08,-7.29,-11.53,-3.38,-7.37,-7.68,P<0.01). The family cohesion was positively correlated with the psychological resilience and each dimension (r=0.27-0.56, P<0.01), but negatively correlated with non-suicidal self-injury (r=-0.18, P<0.01). The psychological resilience and each dimension were negatively correlated with non-suicidal self-injury (r=-0.24--0.14, P<0.01). Psychological resilience had a partial mediating effect between family cohesion and non-suicidal self-injury, with mediating effect accounting for 61.11% of the total effect.
Conclusion
Psychological resilience played a mediating role between family cohesion and non-suicidal self-injury. By promoting family cohesion to improve psychological resilience, it is helpful to prevent non-suicidal self-injury among middle school students.
