1.Correlation between carotid atrery atherosclerosis and coronary heart disease

Objective: To study the correation between carotid artery atherosclerosis and coronary heart disease (CHD). Methods: Color Doppler flow imaging was employed to evaluate carotid artery atherosclerosis in 90 patients with CHD, carotid artery ultrasonography and coronary angiography were performed simultaneously in 20 cases. Results: The thickness of internus-middle membrane and the index number of atheroma both increased remarkably in all cases, and the group with MI had obvious abnomal parameter of blood stream in internal carotid artery. The conformed rate of coronary angiography with ultrasonography in carotid is 75 % in 20 cases,and the moreserious the pathological change of coronary is, the higher the happening rate of carotid artery atherosclerosis is. Conclusion: The degrees of carotid artery atherosclerosis can reflect the degree of pathological changes of coronary indirectly.
2.Analysis of variation in coagulation function of 36 children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae

Objective To study the effect of Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection on the coagulation system in children and to clarify its mechanism in order to guide the therapeutic strategy for Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection in clinical practice.Methods A prospective and case control study was carried out in 36 children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection in Weifang People ' s Hospital from January through December in 2011.The 36 patients were divided into two groups according to the MP-IgM plasma titers,namely low-titer group with MP-IgM 1 ∶ 80-1 ∶ 160 (n =17) and high-titer group with MP-IgM 1 ∶ 320-1 ∶1280 (n =19).The subjects of control group (n =20) were recruited from healthy children as they took routine physical examination during the same period.Six indexes related to the coagulation function as well as D-dimer in plasma were determined.All data were analyzed by using SPSS 15.0 software.Results The levels of fibrinogen (FIB) and D-dimer in the low-titer group and high-titer group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05).The prothrombin (PT) and activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) in the high-titer group were significantly shorter than those in the control group respectively (P < 0.05).Conclusions Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection in children gives rise to the potential for activating the extrinsic and intrinsic coagulation system,promoting thrombosis and in turn inducing ischemic stroke in serious cases.
4.Anesthetic efficacy of propofol used to supplement spinal anesthesia for sedation in pediatric patients undergoing lower abdominal or lower extremity operations

Objective To evaluate the anesthetic efficacy of propofol used to supplement spinal anesthesia for sedation in the pediatric patients undergoing lower abdominal or lower extremity operations.Methods One hundred twenty pediatric patients of both sexes, aged 2-5 yr, weighing 11-21 kg, of ASA physical status Ⅰ or Ⅱ , scheduled for elective lower abdominal or lower extremity operations were randomly divided into 3 groups (n =40 each) using a random number table: general anesthesia group (group G), propofol used to supplement caudal block for sedation group (group PS+CB) , and propofol used to supplement spinal anesthesia for sedation group (group PS+SA).In group G, after induction of anesthesia, laryngeal mask airway was inserted, the patients were then mechanically ventilated, and anesthesia was maintained with iv infusion of propofol (5-7 mg· kg-1 · h-1), remifentanil (20-25 μg· kg-1 · h 1) and cisatracurium besylate (0.1 mg· kg-1 · h 1).In group PS+CB, caudal block was performed with the mixture 0.8 ml/kg of 1% lidocaine and 0.25% bupivacaine.In group PS+SA, spinal anesthesia was performed with isobaric bupivacaine 1.0 mg/age.Propofol was then infused at 3-5 mg · kg-1 · h-1 for sedation in PS+CB and PS+SA groups.Before anesthesia (baseline, T0) and at 1, 5 and 10 min after emergence from anesthesia (T1-3) , heart rate (HR), mean arterial pressure (MAP) and oxygen saturation (SpO2) were recorded.The emergence time, time for recovery of orientation, and duration of stay in postanesthesia care unit were recorded.Pain was assessed and scored, and agitation was graded at 5 min after emergence from anesthesia, and the occurrence of intraoperative traction reaction, body movement and nausea and vomiting within 24 h after operation was recorded.Results No intraoperative traction reaction and body movement was found in group PS+SA, and no patients stayed in postanesthesia care unit in PS+CB and PS+SA groups.HR and MAP were significantly higher at T1-3 than at T0 in group G (P<0.05).Compare with group G, the HR, MAP at T1-3, pain scores, agitation scores, incidence of nausea and vomiting were significantly decreased, and the emergence time and time for recovery of orientation were shortened in groups PS+CB and PS+SA (P<0.05).Conclusion Propofol used to supplement spinal anesthesia for sedation is effective and provides faster recovery from anesthesia with fewer complications in the pediatric patients undergoing lower abdominal or lower extremity operations.
5.Comparison of glycosylated hemoglobin levels detected by 3 kinds of analytic instruments

Objective To compare levels of glycosylated hemoglobin detected by 3 kinds of analytic instruments .Methods 75 samples were measured by D-10 glycosylated hemoglobin automatic analyzer(ionexchange chromatography) ,HA-8160 glycosylated hemoglobin automatic analyzer(affinity chromatography) and 7170A automatic analyzer(immune turbidimetry) .Results were tested by the homogeneity of variance ,the one-way analysis of variance and correlation analysis .Results There was a positive correlation between D-10 glycosylated hemoglobin automatic analyzer and HA-8160 glycosylated hemoglobin automatic analyzer(r2 =0 .996) , the linear equation was Y=0 .953X+0 .519 .There was a positive correlation between D-10 glycosylated hemoglobin automatic ana-lyzer and 7170A automatic analyzer(r2 =0 .996) ,the linear equation was Y=0 .925X+0 .576 .There was a positive correlation be-tween HA-8160 glycosylated hemoglobin automatic analyzer and 7170A automatic analyzer(r2 =0 .998) ,the linear equation was Y=0 .969 X+0 .081 .Conclusion In the premise of quality control in laboratory ,three different instrument can use to detect the level of glycosylated hemoglobin .
6.Use of high-level HBV replication transgenic mice for evaluating drugs treating hepatitis B virus

AIM:To study the high-level HBV replication transgenic mice for evaluation of drugs treating hepatitis B virus.METHODS:The HBV transgenic mice were treated respectively with lamivudine,large dose recombinant hepatitis B protein vaccine,?-1b interferon,siRNA to evaluate their pharmacodynamics and mechanism of action.RESULTS:HBV DNA titre was reduced significantly in transgenic mice which were treated with lamivudine(100 mg?kg-1?d-1),recombinant hepatitis B protein vaccine(HBsAg 6 ?g/mouse),?-1b interferon(50 ?g /mouse),respectively.Recombinant hepatitis B protein vaccine and ?-1b interferon promoted the level of IL-2 and IFN-? and increased the Elispot number of spleen cells secreting IFN-? in the treated transgenic mice.HBV transgenic mice were treated with RNAi expression vector pU6-siHBV against HBV through vena caudalis by hydrodynamics technique.Five days later,the level of serum HBsAg was reduced by 56.7% and the inhibition lasted at least 14 days.The HbcAg(+)cells were decreased obviously by immunohistochemistry detection in liver tissue,but the RNAi did not reduce the serum HBV DNA titre.CONCLUSION:These inbreeding high-level HBV replication transgenic mice are reliable and feasible for evaluating the anti-HBV drugs and have its economical and convenient superiority.
7.Effects of FSEER on immunosuppressive and bone-marrow-suppressive mice after chemotherapy

Objective:To observe the effect of FSEER on the immunosuppressive and bone-marrow-suppressive mice after chemotherapy,and explore the mechanism of hematopoietic and immunologic function in mice accentuated by FSEER.Methods: Mice were injected cyclophosphamide(Cy)except control group,then randomly divided into mode group(saline),FSEER groups[120,60 mg/( kg· d) ].The spleen index( SI) of all mice was calculated respectively.Flow cytometry instrument testing mice peripheral blood lymphocytes CD3,CD4,CD8 change.The content of TNF-α,IL-2 and IL-12 in mice serum were measured by ELISA kits.Morphological images of bone marrow of the mice were observed under the microscope after Wright-Giemsa′s staining.Results:The spleen index( SI) was increased in both of the two FSEER groups.ELISA analyses showed that the content of TNF-αand IL-2 was increased in both of the two FSEER groups.The population of CD3+CD4+T lymphocyte and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+were all increased in the low dose experimental group.After treated with FSEER, the hematopoietic depression was improved significantly.Conclusion: FSEER can improve the state of immunosuppressive and myelosuppressive mice caused by Cy thus could alleviate the side effect of chemotherapy ef-fectively.
8.Clinical Study on Montelukast in the Treatment of Pediatric Cough Variant Asthma

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of leukotriene receptor antagonist montelukast on inflammatory factor,air-way anatomy and lung function of children with cough variant asthma. METHODS:A total of 86 children with cough variant asth-ma selected from our hospital during Apr. 2010 to Aug. 2015 were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table,with 43 cases in each group. Control group was given Budesonide aerosol 0.4 mg,bid;observation group was given Montelukast sodium chewable tablets with different dose according to age(4 mg for 2-6 year-old,tid;5 mg for 7-12 year-old,tid).A treatment course of 2 groups lasted for 4 weeks,and both groups received 2 courses of treatment. The levels of inflammatory factor,airway anatomy and lung function indexes were detected in 2 groups before and after treatment,and the oc-currence of ADR was also observed. RESULTS:Before treatment,there was no statistical significance in above indexes between 2 groups(P>0.05). Compared to before treatment,the levels of IL-4,IL-6,IL-8,TNF-α and hs-CRP in 2 groups were de-creased significantly after treatment;airway wall thickness,basement membrane thickness,airway wall thickness/outside diameter ratio,total area of airway wall,total area of airway wall/total area of airway were decreased significantly,while FVC,FEV1, FEV1/FVC,PEF were increased significantly;the indexes in observation group were significantly better than control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in the incidence of ADR between 2 groups(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:For pediatric cough variant asthma,montelukast can significantly improve inflammatory reaction,airway status and lung function with good safety.
9.Clinical results of breast augmentation with polyacrylamide hydrogel injection.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the complications in 16 patients who had breast augmentation with polyacrylamide hydrogel injection. The distribution and late changes of the injected material was observed.
METHODSThe physical signs and symptoms of the 16 patients were classified. Ultrasound and infrared examinations or MRI were used in some cases.
RESULTSTwo patients had operations for extraction. The injection material was distributed in the muscles diffusely, or existed in the breast and subcutaneous tissue as many masses.
CONCLUSIONThe reliability of this injection method for breast augmentation is in doubt.

10.Clearance effect of milk containing anti-Helicobacter pylori specific antibody:a randomized clinical trial

Objective:To compare and observe the different clearance effect of milk containing anti-Helicobacter pylori specific antibody. Methods:Four H. pylori strains were used to immune dairy cows to obtain milk containing anti-Helicobacter pylori specific antibody,of which,one was standardized strain and the other three were locally epidemic. Totally 148 people were screended,in which 72 were C-14 urea breath test positive, finally 39 meet the criteria. They were divided into two groups, the test group contained 21 subjects,were treated milk containing anti-Helicobacter pylori specific antibody;the 18 subjects in control group with common milk. The study was continued for 2 months. Results:Conducting the C-14 urea breath test,9 subjects in test group were negative,but no one was changed in control group. The effective clearance rate of the test group was 42. 86%,and there was no effective clearance in the control group,so there was significant difference in the two groups(P=0. 005,P<0. 05). Conclusion: The milk containing anti-Helicobacter pylori specific antibody is polyclonal and has higher valence,and could clear H . Pylori effectively.
