Objective To reproduce a pulmonary carcinoma model by injecting VX2 tumor tissue block suspension into rabbits' lung,and to compare the result with that of injecting VX2 tumor cells suspension.Methods A total of 50 New Zealand white rabbits were divided into two groups randomly with 25 in each.The VX2 tumor tissue block suspension and cell suspension were injected respectively into the right lower lung of each rabbit in two groups.The growth and metastasis of tumor in the thorax were observed with CT scan.The general condition of the animals was observed as well.Results The pathological pictures of the VX2 tumors were the same in two groups.The ratio of successful transplantation was 100% in the tissue block suspension group,while it was 48% in the cells suspension group,a remarkable difference in the success rate of tumor transplantation was found between the two methods(P

Aftertreatment the state of illness restored more slowly and the duration of illness was obviously prolonged. At the same time, it was found that the biochemical indexes (hyaluronic acid, total bile acid) increased significantly at acute stage, and the indexes in the patient of overlapping infection in the time for recovering normality at restoration stage was longer than that in the patient of simple hepatitis E, with a significantly difference between the two groups. It is indicated that lesion of the liver in the patient of overlapping infection of hepatitis B and E was more severe than the simple hepatitis E, with no good prognosis.

Objective To compare the diagnostic accuracy of magnetic resonance (MR) images with multislice computer tomography (MSCT) for preoperative T-staging of patients with cardiac cancer. Methods MR and MSCT were performed in 28 cases of cardiac cancer diagnosed by biopsy prior to operation within one week. After an oral intake of 1000 ml water and an injection of hypotonic agent, MR and MSCT scan were carried out. MR sequences included FSE T1W, FSE T2W, FSE T1W with fat suppression and dynamic enhanced FSPGR with fat suppression. MSCT was applied with dynamic triphasic contrast enhancement. All of the findings were prospectively analyzed by two doctors separately and compared with the surgical and pathological findings. Results According to histopathologic staging, the accuracy of MR and MSCT in T1-staging were 88.8% and 11.1%, in T2-staging were 77.8% and 22.2%, in T3-staging were 83.3% and 32.7%, in T4-staging were 100.0% and 50.0%, respectively. Methods 10 samples of fresh adult hand were dissected under microscope. The course,branches,distribution and external diameter of nerves and blood vessels in finger distal phalanx and morpho-logical relationship between nerves and vessels were measured. Results Proper palmar digital nerves mostly step over digital arteries at section starts of distal finger arterial arcades and go to finger pulps and latero-backs. Their thinks di-vide into 2 branches. Transverse diameters of interior and exterior branches are 0.8 ～ 1.2 mm and 0.9 ～ 1.4 mm re-spectively at liner semilunaris levels. Distributionsof left and right branches are reciprocal chiasmas. Conclusion Finger nerve mostly ramifies to finger pulp,finger tip and finger back at the level of phalangette bottom. Objective To determine the neuroprotective effect of clonidine on primary cultured cortical neurons in rats exposed to oxygen-glucose deprivation ( OGD) injury. Methods Cortical neurons cultured for 8 days were randomly assigned to the three groups: normal control group, model control group, and clonidine pretreatment group. OGD injury model was established by chemical hypoxia and glucose deprivation in incubation liquid for 4 h. Clonidine (1. 0, 3. 0, 10 μmol·L-1 ) was added 24 h before OGD injury. Neuronal injury was evaluated by MTT staining and the release of lactate dehydrogenase ( LDH) . Results Under the microscope, primary cultured cortical neurons in normal control group presented great density, round size, smooth edge, and high diopter,The suvival rate of neurons and the percentage of LDH releasing were (100. 00±32. 12)% and (100. 00 ± 37. 51 )%, respectively. After exposure to OGD injury, cortical neurons showed karyopyknosis, incomplete cell membranes, low diopters and a significant reduction in optical density of MTT staining. In addition, the suvival rate of neurons and the percentage of LDH releasing were (53. 61±7. 62)% and (166. 07±9. 65)% separately compared with normal control group. In the group with pretreatment of different concentrations of clonidine (1. 0, 3. 0, 10μmol·L-1), morphological changes induced by OGD injury were significantly reversed and optical density of MTT staining was dose-dependently raised.
