Objective To investigate the clinical significance of hepatocyte nuclear factor 4α(HNF4α)in rectal cancer and its relationship with prognosis. Methods Real-time PCR was designed to detect the expression of HNF4αon mRNA level and the immunohistochemistry was used to determine the expression of HNF4αon protein level in rectal cancer tissue. The relationship between HNF4αexpression and clinical characteristics was also analysed. The Kaplan-Meier method was used for univariate analysis and a Cox proportional hazards regression model was performed for multivariate analysis. Results HNF4αwas low expressed both on mRNA (t=6.092,P<0.001)and protein level (χ2 =15.230,P<0.001)in rectal cancer tissue.HNF4αexpression on protein level was related with the clinical stage (χ2 =48.311,P<0.001),depth of invasion (χ2 =23.911,P<0.001),histological differentiation (χ2 =20.787,P<0.001),lymph node metastasis (χ2 =39.064,P<0.001)and distant metastasis (χ2 =5.146,P=0.04),while age and gender were not relevant. The cumulative 3-year overall survival of patients with low HNF4αexpression (43.8%)was much worse than the patients with high HNF4αexpression (95 .5%),and the difference was statistically sig-nificant (P<0.001).Univariate analysis revealed that HNF4αexpression (χ2 =28.778,P<0.001),differ-entiation (χ2 =26.680,P<0.001 ),clinical stage (χ2 =32.702,P<0.001 ),depth of invasion (χ2 =6.226,P=0.013),lymph node invasion (χ2 =15.270,P<0.001)and distant metastasis (χ2 =21.817, P<0.001)were statistically significant worse predictors for rectal cancer, whereas age and gender were not rel-evant.The multivariate Cox proportional hazard analysis revealed that HNF4αlow expression (RR=6.084, P=0.028)was independent prognostic markers for 3-year overall survival in the patients with rectal cancer. Conclusion HNF4αwas closely related to the tumorigenesis and progression of rectal cancer, which is an independent prognostic marker for rectal cancer, and which may be an effective target for the therapy of rectal cancer.

Objective To develop a BP neural network to differentiate between ventricular fibrillation( VF) and non-VF rhythms. Methods Eighteen metrics were extracted from the ECG signals. Each of these metrics respectively characterized each aspect of the signals, such as morphology, gaussianity, spectra, variability, and complexity. These metrics were regarded as the input vector of the BP neural network. After training, a classifier used for VF and non-VF rhythm classification was obtained. Results and Conclusion The constructed BP neural network was tested with the databases of VFDB and CUDB, and the accuracy was 98.61%and 95.37%, respectively.

Objective To design a temperature control strategy for wave bioreactors. Methods According to the requirements of temperature control precision and response speed of wave bioreactors, the traditional PID control method was combined with fuzzy control method which was used to adjust the parameters of the PID control in real time online in order to strengthen the ability of the temperature control strategy to regulate temperature. Results A fuzzy PID controller was completed and simulation results were compared with the traditional PID controller. Conclusion The fuzzy PID control method has a smaller overshoot and shorter stability than the traditional one, so it has a higher temperature control performance.

Objective To design a temperature control strategy for riptide bioreactor to eliminate integral saturation by conventional proportion integration differentiation (PID) control. Methods According to the requirement of the riptide bioreactor for the temperature control, the temperature control system model determined by experiment was got, then the effectiveness of the integral limiter PID control method was verified, and finally the integral limiter PID control method wasimproved further using the integral separation combined with the actual experimental results and its effectiveness was tested. Results The simulation results showed that the control effects of the integral limiter PID was good. However, the actual tests proved that there was still deficiencies in large overshoot and long stable time, and good experimental results were obtainedafter improving the integral limiter PID by the integral separation method. Conclusion The improved integral limiter PID control method effectively avoids the overshoot of the system caused by the integral saturation, achieves high control precision, has a very good control performance for the temperature control of riptide bioreactor, and well meets the requirements of mammalian cell culture.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2020;36(10):866-869
Preventive treatment of diseases is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) concept that conforms to the demand of modern healthcare emphasizing prevention. This concept, however, calls for close and orderly collaboration between general hospitals and primary community healthcare institutions, in order to encourage coordinated regional development. The authors described the new healthcare mode of " One Center, One Platform, and One Network" jointly built and run by Dongguan Municipal Health Bureau and Dongguan TCM Hospital. This practice has pioneered a full-range, closed-loop and one-stop service chain featuring preventive treatment. Such an innovative TCM health management system has realized information interconnection of preventive treatment, and upgraded the capacity and effectiveness of community medical services, hence expanding the number of beneficiaries.

Chinese Journal of Hematology 2019;40(8):656-661
Objective:
To evaluate the clinicopathologic features of Rosai-Dorfman disease (RDD) , and elucidate the potential pathogenesis by whole exome sequencing (WES) .
Methods:
Clinico-pathological data of 23 RDD patients diagnosed between 2010 and 2018 in Changhai hospital were reviewed, and 9 paraffin-embedded specimens were performed for WES.
Results:
The median age of 23 RDD patients was 47 (10-79) years. Of them, 19 cases had extranodal lesions, 3 had nodal lesions, and 1 had nodal and extranodal lesions coincidently. All patients received surgery for lesion resection. Histiocytosis in lymph node sinuses or in extranodal tissues accompanied by lymphocyte phagocytosis are typical pathological features of RDD. Immunohistochemical staining shows histocytes are positive for S100, CD68 and CDl63, and negative for CD1a. mTOR, KMT2D and NOTCH1 mutations were detected with WES in these cases.
Conclusion
Mutations in mTOR, KMT2D and NOTCH1 genes may be involved in the pathogenesis of RDD, and their clinical significance needs to be further studied.
