1.Analysis on long term misdiagnosis of hereditary spherocytosis

Objective To increase the recognition of the clinicians and laboratorians to hereditary spherocytosis for reducing the misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis ,and improving the diagnostic level .Methods The data in 4 cases of definitely diagnosed heredi‐tary spherocytosis in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed ,and the misdiagnosis reasons were analyzed and summarized .Results In 4 cases ,2 cases were misdiagnosed as Mediterranean anemia ,1 case was misdiagnosed as hemolytic anemia and 1 case as hemo‐globin disease .Conclusion Correctly mastering the key points of the diagnosis ,strengthening the communication between the labo‐ratorians and clinicians ,paying attention to the red blood cells morphologic examination under microscope and high level diagnosis a‐bility of blood cell morphology are the important means to reduce the misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis and improve the diagnostic accuracy rate .
2.Effect of Tanreqing injection assisted Ganciclovir on children with respiratory syncytial virus pneumonia

Objective To investigate the effect of Tanreqing injection assisted ganciclovir on children with respiratory syncytial virus pneumonia . Methods 145 cases of RSVP pediatric patientsin from February 2013 to January 2016 in our hospital were retrospectively chosen,according to different drug regimen,they were divided into two groups,the contronl group of 71 cases with ganciclovir injection treatment and study group of 74 cases,with Tanreqing injection treatment on the basis of the contronl group.The blood gas analysis was performed on the arterial blood of the two groups before treatment and 7 and 14 days after continuous administration.The changes of blood gas indexes (pH,PaO2,PaCO2) were compared.The lung rales, wheezing, fever, cough, wheeze disappearance of time and side effects of the children were recorded.Results After 7 and 14 days of treatment, the Ph of blood gas parameters in the study group were (7.38 ±0.21) and (7.41 ±0.26), the level of PaO2 were (96.45 ±4.06) mmHg and (98.84 ± 5.27) mmHg,which were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05);the level of PaCO2 in the study group were(45.02 ±4.23) mmHg and (41.26 ±3.16) mmHg, which were significantly lower than those in the contronl group (P<0.05).The rale resorption time in the study group was (4.47 ±1.06) days, the duration of wheezing subsided was (5.03 ±0.43) days, the duration of wheezing was (4.89 ±0.72) days, the duration of fever subsided was (2.46 ±0.32) days, the duration of cough was (8.41 ±1.54) days,were significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).The adverse reaction rate in the study group was 8.11%, significantly lower than that in the control group 21.13%(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of Tanreqing injection combined with ganciclovir has a good effect on children with RSVP , and can significantly shorten the time of clinical evidences such as wheezing, wheezing and pulmonary rales, and improve the blood gas level in children,reduce adverse reactions.
3.Clinical value of 99mTc-MDP SPECT/CT whole body bone imaging in diagnosis of bone metastasis of pros-tate cancer

Objective To investigate the clinical value of 99mTc-MDP SPECT/CT whole body bone imaging in the diagnosis of bone metastasis of prostate cancer. Methods A total of 107 cases with prostate cancer were di-agnosed by SPECT whole body bone imaging from January 2013 to November 2016. SPECT/CT imaging of some ab-normal density collective focus found in whole body bone imaging were further carried out. Six months later ,whole body bone imaging and SPECT/CT were made again for review. In all diagnosis above ,99mTc-MDP were selected as bone imaging agent. According to the results of follow-up visit clinical and imaging diagnosis ,diagnostic perfor-mance indicators of whole body bone imaging and SPECT/CT were calculated. Results The different part of whole body bone imaging and SPECT/CT in the diagnosis of bone metastases was statistically significant(x2 = 23.000, P < 0.001). The diagnosis specificity and coincidence rate of SPECT/CT for bone metastasis were 100.0% and 98.1% respectively and they were significantly higher than those of whole body bone imaging(65.0% and 80.4%respectively). The differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05). After SPECT/CT diagnosis,a total of 193 undetermined lesions were found and 83 lesions of these were final diagnosed of bone metastases. Pelvic lesions were most in bone metastases ,accounting for 50.6%. Conclusion Whole body bone imaging can effectively determine the undetermined lesions , further SPECT/CT can significantly improve the diagnostic accuracy of prostate cancer bone metastasis.

Objective To determine the association of glutathione-stransferase M1(GSTM1), T1(GSTT1) genetic polymorphisms, smoking and alcohol consumption with the risk of gastric cancer. Methods 1:1 matched case-control study and molecular epidemiology technique were used to analysis the genetic polymorphisms of GSTM1, GSTT1 genotype among 60 cases of gastric cancer patients and sex-and age-matched controls, who were selected from Nanjing Zhongda Hospital and Jiangsu Province Cancer Hospital. BACKGROUND:Periodontal tissue engineering technology provides new ideas and new ways for periodontitis-induced bone defect repair. OBJECTIVE:To develop a culture model for the periodontal ligament cells of miniature swine, which was constructed with hydroxyapatite, to investigate the biocompatibility with hydroxyapatite. METHODS:Periodontal ligament cells from miniature swine were harvested by using tissue explant method. Immunofluorescence was used to detect the expression of stromal cel antigen 1 in the periodontal ligament cells of miniature swine. The third passage cells were co-cultured with a three-dimension hydroxyapatite scaffold, and the biological characteristics of the cells were observed under a scanning electron microscope at days 1, 3, 7 of co-culture. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The pirmary miniature swine periodontal ligament cells grew wel , and they were positive for stromal cel antigen 1. Under the scanning electron microscope, the periodontal ligament cells of miniature swine grew wel on the hydroxyapatite scaffold at days 1, 3, 7 of co-culture. These prove that the miniature swine periodontal ligament cells, which can be separated using tissue explant method and cultured successful y in vitro, can grow wel on the hydroxyapatite scaffold.
6.Research of TCM syndrome variation regularity in acute stage of ischemia stroke

Objective:To explore TCM syndrome variation regularity on acute stage of ischemia stroke.Methods:To collect clinical dynamic state information of ischemia stroke from 72h to 14days by using prospective clinical research method and investigate TCM syndrome variation regularity in acute stage of ischemia stroke.Results:Wind,fire and phlegm syndromes were the most frequent syndromes in acute stage of ischemia stroke.They appeared varied regularity.There were forty-four combination patterns about six basic syndromes.The wind syndrome and fire-phlegm syndrome were increasing in acute stage of ischemia stroke.The wind-phlegm syndrome was decreasing in the first three days,the wind-fire syndrome peaked on the third day,the phlegm was decreasing on the fifth day.The wind-fire-phlegm was the most frequent and undulate syndrome on the fifth day.The wind-phlegm-stagnation syndrome was increasing for the first three days.Conclusion:There were fastly morbility,changeable and complicated syndrome change in acute stage of ischemia stroke.It was very necessity and urgency for complementing diagnostic criteria of stroke differentiation.
7.Analysis of clinical and electrophysiological features in patients with hereditary neuropathy with liability to pressure palsy diagnosed by gene analysis

Objective To study the clinical and electrophysiological features of the patients with hereditary neuropathy with liability to pressure palsy ( HNPP) diagnosed by gene analysis.Methods Seven patients from two HNPP families were assessed on medical history, physical examination, electrophysiology findings and gene analysis.Results A clinical manifestation of acute, painless, recurrent peripheral nerve palsies was typical for HNPP.Median, ulnar and peroneal nerves were usually affected.Electrophysiology study revealed that prolonged distal motor latency and slowing nerve conduction velocity were prominent.Gene studies exhibited a deletion of the peripheral myelination protein 22 gene in all the seven patients.Conclusions HNPP usually affects areas where nerves are subject to entrapment, and many episodes are preceded by minor compression on the affected nerve.As a reliable screening tool in detecting HNPP, the electrophysiological study shows that segmental demyelination is most commonly seen at common nerve entrapment sites.

Objective To study the main pathogenic bacteria and drug sensitivity in patients with chronic sup-purative otitis media and patients with middle ear cholesteatoma in Xinjiang ,and to provide evidence for reasonable u-sing antibiotics for the two diseases .Methods We performed a retrospective analysis of the middle ear secretion bac-terial culture results of 409 patients with chronic suppurative otitis media and middle ear cholesteatoma at our hospi-tal from January 2008 to December 2013 .Results ①There were 361 strains of microbes isolated from 409 patients , and 16 of them were fungi ,and 245 were bacteria .There was a statistical significance of the pathogen detection rate about G+ and G- bacteria between chronic suppurative otitis media and middle ear cholesteatoma (χ2 =12 .216 ,P=0 .000) .②Staphylococcus aureus(in 78 of 254 ears ,30 .7% ) ,pseudomonas aeruginosa(in 46 of 254 ears ,18 .1% ) , coagulase-negative staphylococcus(in 42 of 254 ears ,16 .5% ) ,and proteus mirabilis(in 20 of 254 ears ,7 .87% ) were the most frequently insolated pathogens in chronic suppurative otitis media ,while staphylococcus aureus(in 26 of 107 ears ,24 .30% ) ,pseudomonas aeruginosa(in 17 of 107 ears ,15 .9% ) ,coagulase-negative staphylococcus (in 16 of 107 ears ,15 .0% ) ,and proteus mirabilis(in 14 of 107 ears ,13 .1% ) were the most frequently insolated patho-gens in middle ear cholesteatoma .③Staphylococcus aureus and coagulase -negative staphylococcus were all sensi-tive to quinoline nupu ting /dalfopristin ,teicoplanin ,vancomycin ,and moxifloxacin .The sensitivity of coagulase -negative staphylococcus to gentamicin ,trimethoprim -sulfamethoxazole ,and erythromycin in the middle ear chol-esteatoma were higher than those of in chronic suppurative otitis media .The sensitivity of pseudomonas aeruginosa to ceftazidime ,and imipenem were lower in the middle ear cholesteatoma .The drug sensitivity of pseudomonas aeruginosa ,proteus to trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole and cefazolin was higher in middle ear cholesteatoma .Conclu-sion There are differences between chronic suppurative otitis media (active) and middle ear cholesteatoma about G+ ,G- bacteria detection rate .Staphylococcus aureus ,coagulase-negative staphylococcus ,pseudomonas aerugi-nosa ,and proteus mirabilis are the main pathogenic bacteria in these two chronic otitis media .There is a difference of some commonly used antimicrobial sensitivity in these two kinds of otitis media ,which is more obvious in pseudo-monas aeruginosa and proteus mirabilis .
9.The Relationship between the Mammographic Features and Clinicopathologic Characteristics in Breast Cancer

Objective To study the relationship between the mammographic features and clinicopathologic characteristics in breast cancer.Methods Digital mammograms of 176 patients with pathologically proved breast cancer were reviewed.X-ray findings were analysed compared with clinical and pathologic data(histological types and axillary nodes status).Results The breast cancer simplely with micro-calcifications was common seen is the young women under 50 years old(27/32,84.4%) and microcalcifications with the mass was common seen in the aged women over 50 years old(53.8%,28/52).Microcalcifications in mammography occurred frequently occurred in 51.9%(14/27)in intra-ductal carcinoma and early invasive carcinoma.The breast cancer with expression of microcalcification cimbined with burr-like mass had a high metastatic rate to axillary lymph nodes(69.4%,25/36).A high metastatic rate of axillary lymph nodes could also be found in the patients with solitary worm-like microcalcification,solitary burr-like tumor and simple non-wormlike microcalcification.Conclusion The X-ray features of breast carcinoma are certainly related to the clinicopathological manifestations.
10.Detection and Clinic Application of Antiphospholipid Antibody and Anti-β2-GPⅠ in Female Infertility

Objective To analyze the correlation of different antiphospholipid antibody isotypes in female infertility.Methods Selected 296 patients with female infertility and 31 normal female between May 2015 to August 2015 in Dalian Women’s and Children’s Medical Centre.All the antibodies were detected by chemilumininescence.The positiverate of antipholipid an-tibodies in female infertility patients and health controls were calculated.The concentrations of antiphospholipid antibodies in different groups were compared with Mann-Whitney U test.Results The positive rate of aCL IgG of female infertility and normal female were 0.34% and 0.00%.The positive rate of aCL IgM of female infertility and normal female were 1.35%and 0.00%.The positive rate ofβ2 GPⅠ IgG of female infertility and normal female were 0.00% and 0.00%.The positive rate ofβ2 GPⅠ IgM of female infertility and normal female were 0.34% and 0.00%.aCL IgG were differet beween female infertility and normal female (P=0.013),others had on significant difference.Conclusion Need to detect LA,combined with aCL and anti-β2 GPⅠ,exclusively diagnose APS,layed the foundation of sequential treatment.
