AIM: To investigate the effects of major operation wound on both endothelin (ET) and calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) in hematoplasma of patients. METHODS: We measured both endothelin and calcitonin gene-related peptide in hematoplasma during perioperative period for 30 patients who underwent Ⅲ category operation and for 15 patients who underwent Ⅳ category operation. RESULTS: After operation, ET and CGRP in hematoplasma of both groups who underwent Ⅲ category and Ⅳ category operation were significantly increased compared with those before operation (P

0.05 . In combined test, the combined OR= 3.164 , OR = 3.209 and its 95% confidence interval was in 1.390 ~ 7.200 and 1.747 ~ 5.900 , respectively. CONCLUSION: The case fatality rates in combination group were significantly lower than those in single somatostain group. The efficacy of combination group was superior to that of single somatostain group.

Objective To analysis the genomic sequence of a novel human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-B*3818 allele. Methods Full length genomic sequence of an unknown HLA-B allele was cloned, followed by bi-directional sequencing and the specificity of the antigen coded by this novel allele was defined by microcytotoxicity assay. The frequency and haplotype of this novel allele was acquired by population census and parentage analysis. Results The full length genomic sequence of this novel HLA-B*3818 allele with accession number FJ561482 differs from HLA-B*380201 by two nucleotide changes in exon 4 and intron 5,respectively.One change is located at nt 660 in exon 4 where C→A alternation, which results in an amino acid substitution from Asp(GAC)to Glu(GAA)at codon 196.This alternation is a new single nucleotide polymorphism compared with all other HLA-B alleles.Another is located at genomic position 2133 in intron 5(A→C).Except for this substitution, the intron sequences of HLA-B*3818 allele are identical to those of other HLA-B*38 alleles including HLA-B*380101,B*380201 and B*3814.The serological specificity of HLA-B*3818 is B38 and the frequency of this new allele is less than 0.000 5 in Chinese Han population. The parentage analysis showed the haplotype of novel allele is A*030101-Cw*010201-B*3818-DRB1*1312-DOB1*060101.Conclusion The simultaneous mutations in exon and intron were found in the Hovel HLA-B*3818 allele, and so it can present more sequence information for studies and applications associated with HIA genes by analyzing the genomic sequences of novel HLA alleles.

Objective To investigate the relationship of HSP27 expression with treatment response ,remission rate ,prognosis in multiple myeloma(MM) patients .Methods Eighty‐six patients with MM first diagnosis and 27 relapse cases were collected re‐spectively .Control was defined as non‐hematological malignance .The MM patients divided into first diagnosis ,relapse conventional chemotherapy group and bortezomib group .HSP27 expression and protein level were measured on pre‐and post 1 ,2 and 3 treatment circles .Results The tendency of HSP expression and protein level:relapse‐MM patients> first‐diagnosis MM patients> control . HSP27 expression and level in Ⅲ phase was higher than those in Ⅱ phase for first‐diagnosis MM patients .Bortizomib‐containing chemotherapy protocol showed more effectively decrease on HSP27 than chemotherapy treatment only .At post‐1 treatment circle , HSP27<1 showed higher survival rate than HSP27>1 and delayed the relapse time .Conclusion BMMNC‐HSP27 expression and protein level is associated with staging ,treatment response and prognosis in MM patients .

Objective:Mycoplasma genitalium (Mg) is an opportunity pathogenic microorganism mainly transmitted through sexual contact. In recent years, scholars have paid more attention to Mg infection and pathogenicity. This study was aimed to understand the condition of Mg in the genitourinary tract of different populations in China and provide evidence for further study of its pathogenic characteristics. Methods:Cross-section studies of Mg infection in the Chinese community were searched by China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang digital database, SinoMed, Pubmed, and Web of Science from database construction to March 10 th, 2020. Studies were sifted and screened independently by two evaluators based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, and Meta-analysis was conducted with R 1.1.463. If I 2≤50%, the fixed-effect model should be adopted, if I 2>50%, the random effect model should be adopted, and through subgroup analysis, the source of heterogeneity should be found out as far as possible. Results:A total of 47 research articles were included in this article, all of which were medium and high-quality articles. There was no obvious publication bias, and the results were more reliable. The research contained 19 provinces and Hong Kong Special administrative region, including 519 healthy people, 10 504 patients from clinics or hospitals of sexual transmitted disease (STD), 3 200 on Gynecology and 1 624 on Urology, 1 082 patients with men who have sex with men(MSM), 1 842 patients with Female sex worker(FSW), and 3 691 patients with HIV/AIDS. The infection rate of Mg in the genitourinary tract of the healthy population was 0.94% (95% CI: 0.07%-2.78%), the infection rate of Mg was 11.58% (95% CI: 8.57%-14.97%), 15.22% (95% CI: 7.99%-24.27%), 7.32% (95% CI: 4.24%-11.16%) among patients from clinics or hospitals of STD, gynecology and urology respectively. The infection rate of MSM was 9.70% (95% CI: 3.06%-19.52%),the infection rate of FSW was 13.49% (95% CI: 11.97%-15.08%). The infection rate of Mg among HIV infected patients was 20.46% (95% CI: 13.67%-28.22%). Conclusions:The infection rate of Mg in a healthy population was low. Mg infection rate in the genitourinary tract of other groups was still higher, which is worthy of further attention.
