To develop a medication reminder based on Android platform, which can be used to set up personalized reminders quickly and record the patient' s medication time-stamp and related information. In addition, the effect of using the reminder on medication compliance was studied. 14 subjects participated in the evaluation of medica-tion compliance. The differences of dosage and medication rate between the group using and without using reminder were investigated. The dosage and medication rate were got by the pill counting. The Wilcoxon matched -pairs signed rank test showed that the dosage and the medication rate of the group using reminder were higher than that without using reminder significantly(Z= -2. 93, P =0. 003 ). The results demonstrated that the use of the re-minder can improve the medication dose and rate significantly,indicate that the reminder might be a new technical support for clinical research on medication compliance, and also might reduce the workload for medical staff and patients.

Objective To analyze the changing process and development trend of deaths (mortality)in patients with viral hepatitis after the use of the Internet-based National Notifiable Infectious Disease Reporting System.Methods Descriptive statistical and moving average methods were employed to analyze the infectious disease reports released by the Chinese government during 1992-2013,and the changing process and development trend of deaths (mortality)in patients with viral hepatitis in China over the past 10 years were investigated.Re-sults The annual deaths (mortality)in patients with viral hepatitis showed a decreasing trend.The deaths (mortality)from hepatitis B showed a slight declining trend,accounting for a great proportion (over 70%)of the deaths (mortality)from viral hepatitis;the deaths (mortality)from hepatitis C had shown a slight downward trend since 2007;the deaths (mortality)from hepatitis A and unclassified hepati-tis decreased to different extents;the deaths (mortality)from hepatitis E remained at a relatively low level.Conclusion The treatment of viral hepatitis has been gradually improved in China and the public awareness of viral hepatitis keeps increasing.However,much attention still needs to be given to the prevention and treatment of viral hepatitis,especially hepatitis B and C,by the government.

Objective To carry out hand hygiene(HH) quality control circle(QCC) activity by using WeChat group, improve HH compliance of health care workers(HCWs), and enhance the circle members' ability to solve problems.Methods In June 2015, 11 healthcare-associated infection control professionals in a hospital created HH WeChat group by using cellphones, activity cycle was once every two weeks, professionals analyzed the existing problems, and formulated countermeasures as well as implemented methods by group chat form, circle members introduced and implemented strategies to HCWs in their departments, so as to achieve the implementation effect.Results After the creating of WeChat QCC, HCWs' HH compliance increased from 56.71% before activity to 85.94% after activity, difference was statistically significant (X2=61.928, P<0.05);QCC members' responsibility, self-confidence, enthusiasm, harmony degree, team cohesiveness, quality control technique, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skill were all significantly improved.Conclusion Application of WeChat QCC activity can improve HH compliance of HCWs and the ability of circle members.

AIM: To study the effect of garlicin on protecting nonalcoholic fat liver in rats induced by high fat diet and explore the pathogenesis involved. METHODS: According to the dosage of garlicin and diet, fifty SD rats were randomly divided into five equal groups: normal control group, model control group and garlicin (10, 20, 30 mg/kg) groups. Apart from the rats in normal control group, the rats were all fed with high fat and high cholesterol diet. After 12 weeks, the levels of serum endotoxin (ETX), total cholesterols (TC), triglyceride (TG), superoxide dismutase (SOD), malondialdehyde (MDA), transaminase and free fatty acids (FFA) were detected. The levels of MDA, SOD, glutathione hormone (GSH) in hepatic tissue were also detected. Then the features of live pathology were observed. Objective To investigate the influence of different timing of surgery on patients with poor-grade intracranial aneurysm. Methods The clinical data of 86 patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (Hunt-Hess gradeⅣ toⅤ)were analyzed retrospectively. The patients were divided into an ultra-early treatment group (the operative time within 24 h after onset;n=40),an early treatment group, (24 to 72 h after onset;n=27),and middle and late treatment group (>72 h after onset;n=19)according to the different timing of surgery. The prognosis of patients at 6 months after procedure was evaluated with the modified Rankin Scale (mRS)scores. The differences of the rate of good prognosis (mRS 0 to 2)and mortality in patients of the 3 groups were compared. Results (1 )The ratios of good prognosis in the ultra-early treatment group,early treatment group,and middle and late treatment group were 55. 0%(n=22),33. 3%(n=9),and 21. 1%(n=4),respectively. There were significant differences (P<0. 05). The mortality rate of the ultra-early treatment group (7. 5%)was lower than that of the early treatment group (25. 9%) or middle and late treatment group (42. 1%). There were significant differences (P<0. 05). (2)There were significant differences in the rate of good prognosis in different timing of surgery in patients with gradeⅣ(P<0. 05);there was no significant difference in the rate of good prognosis in patients with grade Ⅴ(P>0. 05). The mortality ratios in patients of the 3 groups were 2/18,4/11,and 6/11,respectively. There were significant differences (P<0. 05). Conclusion Ultra-early operation may benefit part of the patients with poor-grade aneurysm,particularly in patients with gradeⅣ. As for the patients with grade Ⅴ, ultra-early operation may help to reduce short-term mortality rate,however,the rate of vegetative state is high.

To explore the related risk factors and outcome in pregnancy- induced hypertension patients with Ⅲ phase of retinopathy.
●METHODS: A total of 105 pregnancy - induced hypertension patients with Ⅲ phase of retinopathy in our hospital from Januany 2012 to December 2013 were enrolled. Clinical date of them were collected to analyze.
●RESULTS: The occurrence of pregnancy - induced hypertension patients with Ⅲ phase of retinopathy were positively correlated with the course of the disease, blood pressure, proteinuria, and it was higher occurred in cold winter and spring, timely termination of pregnancy and appropriate hormone therapy can promote the recovery of vision, and improve outcomes of pregnancy.
●CONCLUSlON: The occurrence of pregnancy - induced hypertension patients with Ⅲ phase of retinopathy associated with season and disease severity. Timely treatment can restore normal vision, improve maternal and neonatal prognosis. Routine examination of fundus examination should be used as the pregnancy induced hypertension syndrome.

Objective: To observe the effects of manganese( Ⅲ ) meso-tetrakis (N, N'-diethylimidazolium-2-yl) porphyrin (MnTDM) in treatment of early Parkinson's disease(PD) mouse model induced by subcutaneous injection of 1-methyl-4-phenyl1, 2, 3, 6-tetrahydropyridine(MPTP) and to discuss its possible mechanism. Methods:Forty male C57BL/6 mice were evenly randomized into 4 groups: MPTP model group(subcutaneous injection of 25 mg/kg MPTP for 3 days), MnTDM+ MPTP group (15 mg/kg MnTDM was subcutaneously injected 1 h before MPTP injection), MnTDM control group, and normal saline group. Performance of animals in the pole and swimming test was observed 3 days after the last injection. Levels of dopamine (DA) and its metabolites(3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid [DOPAC] and homovanillic acid [HVA]) in the striatum of animals were measured by high-performance liquid chromatography with an electrochemical detector(HPLC-ECD). Thiobarbituric acid (TBA) method was used to examine the levels of malondialdehyde(MDA). Results: Acute injection of MPTP could be used for establishment of PD model. The striatal levels of DA, DOPAC and HVA in MPTP group were significantly lower(P＜0.01)and the striatal level of MDA was significantly higher(P＜0.05) than those of the control group. MPTP had no obvious effect on the behavioral performance of the animals in a short term. MnTDM could partly inhibit the above effects of MPTP. Compared with MPTP group, MnTDM+ MPTP group had significantly higher DA, DOPAC, and HVA levels and significantly lower MDA level(all P＜0.05). There was no significant difference in the behavioral indices of animals between the 4 groups. Conclusion:MnTDM can inhibit lipid peroxidation and promote DA production; it has preventive and therapeutic effects on MPTP induced PD.

UNLABELLEDOBJECTIVE To investigate the effect of Nepsilon-(carboxymethyl) lysine albumin (CMLs), a primary advanced glycation end products (AGEPs) isoform in diabetic body, on the function and angiogenesis of adipose tissue-derived stem cells (ADSCs) and the protective effect of Danhong Injection (DH). METHODS Human ADSCs were cultured and separated from human subcutaneous fatty tissue using enzymatic digestion and centrifugation. The morphology was observed using optical microscope and differentiation capacities assessed. Cells were exposed to 5 different interventions respectively for 24 h, i.e., PBS, 60 1 microg/mL BSA, 60 microg/mL CML-BSA, 100 microL/mL DH, and 60 micro./mL CML-BSA +100 microL/mL DH. Their effect on the proliferation, migration, apoptosis, and secretion were observed using WST-1 assay, Transwell assay, Annexin V-FITC/PI flow meter test reagent kit, human VEGF reagent kit, ELISA reagent kit, respectively. The effect on ADSCs angiogenesis was observed by in vitro angiogenesis test.

RESULTSCompared with the BSA group, the capacities of proliferation and migration could be significantly inhibited by CML-BSA, the apoptosis promoted, the secretion of VEGF reduced, and the angiogenesis of ADSCs weakened (P < 0.05). Compared with the blank control group, 100 microL/mL DH could significantly promote the proliferation and migration capacities of ADSCs, inhibit apoptosis of ADSCs, increase the secretion of VEGF, and improve the angiogenesis of ADSCs (P < 0.05). Compared with the CML-BSA group, the inhibition of CML-BSA on the proliferation and migration capacities of ADSCs could be significantly reversed, the promotion of CML-BSA on the apoptosis of ADSCs improved, the secretion of VEGF increased, and the angiogenesis of ADSCs elevated (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONclusion CMLs could significantly inhibit the proliferation and migration capacities of ADSCs, promote their apoptosis, and inhibit their angiogeneses, which could be improved by DH.
