To better evaluate neuromuscular function of patients with stroke related motor dysfunction, we proposed an effective corticomuscular coherence analysis and coherent significant judgment method. Firstly, the related functional frequency bands in the electroencephalogram (EEG) were extracted via wavelet decomposition. Secondly, coherence were analysed between surface electromyography (sEMG) and sub-bands extracted from EEG. Further more, a coherent significant indicator was defined to quantitatively describe the similarity in certain frequency domain and phase lock activity between EEG and sEMG. Through the analysis of corticomuscular coherence during knee flexion-extension of stroke patients and healthy controls, we found that the stroke patients exhibited significantly lower gamma-band corticomuscular coherence in performing the task with their affected leg, and there was no statistically significant difference between their unaffected lag and the healthy controls, but with the rehabilitation training, the bilateral difference of corticomuscular coherence in patients decreased gradually.

7.Etiological analysis of 67 cases of acute leukemia combined with fungal infection.
Journal of Experimental Hematology 2009;17(1):218-221
In order to study the etiological distribution characteristics of fungal infection and improve the clinical therapeutic efficacy in acute leukemia (AL) patients, the fungal infection etiological distribution, infection site and cause were retrospectively analyzed in 67 cases of AL combined with fungal infection. The result indicated that 63 strains of pathogens were isolated from all detected samples. Infection sites involved oral cavity, low respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, blood and urethra; susceptible factors was correlated positively to the duration of administration of broad-spectral antibiotics, glucocorticoid and agranulocytosis. It is concluded that (1) Candida albicans accounts as the most of infection spectrum in AL; (2) main sites of invasive fungal infection are low respiratory tract (63.64%) and gastrointestinal tract (18.18%); (3) the susceptible factors to fungal infection are agranulocytosis and administration of broad-spectral antibiotics in acute leukemia patients; (4) there is interaction between the use of antibiotics and agranulocytosis for the same fungal infection, there is no relationship between long-term use of glucocorticoids and agranulocytosis, and also no relationship between long-term use of glucocorticoids and antibiotics.

Objective To select early prediction indexes related to the prognosis of severe hepatitis in ultrasonography, and evaluate its clinical value. Methods Clinical data of 269 cases of severe hepatitis patients was analyzed retrospectively.Cox proportional hazards regression model was adopted to analyze 13 possible prediction ultrasonic parameters for severe hepatitis, including thickness of the right hepatic lobe, portal vein (PV) diameter, volume of ascites, etc. After selected from these parameters, the clinical value of early prediction factor was evaluated with ROC curve. Results Multivariate analysis showed that thickness of the right hepatic lobe, portal vein (PV) diameter, opening of paraumbilical vein and bile viscosity were related to the death of severe hepatitis patients (P < 0.05).The thickness of the right hepatic lobe contributed most (Wald =40.479),its sensitivity and specificity for prediction were 93.4%,82.8% respectively(P < 0.01).Conclusions Thickness of the right hepatic lobe,PV diameter, opening paraumbilical vein and bile viscosity are early prediction factors for severe hepatitis, need to be monitored in treatment, especially for thickness of the right hepatic lobe.
