Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2013;37(6):464-465
OBJECTIVETo observe the lower gastrointestinal mesenchymal tumors CT virtual endoscopy and pathology, and to explore its possible mechanism.
METHODSSelect 80 patients suspected colon gastroenterology treat in the hospital gastroenterology department, randomly divided into experimental group and control group, 40 cases in experimental group were given CT virtual endoscopy and pathological check, the control group received conventional colonoscopy and pathological check, and all the results compared with the pathological results.
RESULTSCompared with the pathological test results, consistent rate with the experimental group reached 94.73%, the same rate was 92.85% in control group. The difference was not statistically significant (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSIONSCT virtual endoscopy can quickly image and draw detailed information, and can improve the sensitivity and specificity of cancer diagnosis greatly. Clinically, CT virtual endoscopy have the same function as colonoscopy, can replace colonoscopy, can be important complement of electronic colonoscopy by those who cannot tolerate electronic colonoscopy or have contraindications. Its value is worth taking a step forward in-depth study.

5.The application of low dose CT with automatic tube current modulation in the diagnosis of pneumoconiosis
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2014;37(9):13-15
Objective To explore the feasibility and application value of low dose CT with automatic tube current modulation (ATCM) in the diagnosis of pneumoconiosis. Methods Forty-five patients with pneumoconiosis confirmed by the occupational agency underwent standard dose CT scanning with a fixed tube current of 150 mA and low dose CT scanning with ATCM (50-200 mA) with noise index (NI) of 14.The CT dose index volume (CTDIvol) and dose length product (DLP) under the different scanning condition were recorded. The image quality, specific image manifestations of pneumoconiosis (shadow size, shadow concentration, pneumoconiosis stages) were reviewed in double-blind methods by two radiologists, and the statistical analysis was performed. Results CT characteristics of pneumoconiosis could be detected efficiently with low dose CT scanning with ATCM.There were no significant differences in showing the shadow size, shadow concentration, pneumoconiosis stages and the image quality between the two groups (P>0.05).The CTDIvol and DLP of standard dose CT scanning were 13.53 mGy and (337.13 ± 13.53) mGy/cm respectively, and CTDIvol and DLP of low dose CT scanning with ATCM were (7.39 ± 0.45) mGy and (188.78 ± 1.80) mGy/cm,there were statistical differences (P < 0.05).Conclusions Low dose CT scanning with ATCM can reflect the characteristics of pneumoconiosis, and it also can significantly reduce the radiation dose with diagnostic acceptability of the image quality. So low dose CT scanning with ATCM can replace the standard dose CT scan in diagnosing and screening of the pneumoconiosis.
6.Maspin gene and the invasion and metastasis of gastric cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2014;41(3):209-211
The maspin gene,a tumor suppressor gene and a member of the serpin superfamily,is isolated from mammary epithelial cells.Maspin gene plays an important role in the process of invasion and metastasis of gastric cancer.Researches show that maspin gene suppresses the occurrence, development and metastasis of gastric cancer mainly by inducing tumor cell apoptosis, inhibiting tumor angiogenesis, methylation modification, promoting homogeneity adhesion and inhibiting heterogeneous adhesion.
7.Parathyroid hormone related peptide and tumor
Journal of International Oncology 2013;40(7):489-491
The parathyroid hormone related peptide (PTHrP) participates in regulating calcium and phosphorus metabolism and multiple organ growth, and plays an important role in the processes of malignant tumor bone metastasis and hypercalcemia.Currently, more and more researches have confirmed that PTHrP can be secreted by a variety of types of tumor cells.PTHrP participates in regulating tumor cell proliferation and invasion, and it is closely related to the prognosis of patients, which provides a new target of cancer treatment.
8.Differential Expression of Ryanodine Receptors in the Developing Rat Cochlea
Journal of Audiology and Speech Pathology 2009;17(4):358-362
Objective Ryanodine receptor (RyR) is one of the Ca2+ release channels on the intracellular Ca2+ stores. RyR induced-Ca2+ release is activated by the voltage-dependent Ca2+ entry, that is, calcium-induced calcium release (CICR). Intracellular free Ca2+ concentration (ECa2+]i) plays a key role on cochlear function. Our study is to investigate the differential expression of RyR in the developing rat cochlea, and to analyze the relationship between the expression of RyR and auditory functional development. Methods Immature SD rats, which were 1 day (P1), 5 days (P5), 10 days (P10), 14 days (P14), 28 days (P28) after parturition, and adutl rats(5 rats for each age) were included in the study. Frozen cochlea sectioning and immunofluorescence were applied to observe the differential expression of RyR. Results The RyR expression in the Corti's organ increased during the cochlear development. It's not significant that the stain was observed on the hair cells and supporting cells in the Corti's organ of P1 and P5 rats. The appearance of the Corti's organ of P10 rats trended to maturity. In P14 rats the RyR expression on hair cells located in the synaptic area against the afferent or efferent nerve, and the strain on supporting cells was extensive. There was little different between the strain on cochlea of P14 and P28 rats. In postmature rat spiral ganglion neurons (SGN), the RyR expression verged gradually from extensive whole cell soma to the synaptic area near to the plasma membrane. Conclusion The RyR expression peaked the 14th day after parturition, which was close to that in the mature cochlea. The time course of the RyR expression during the cochlear development was coincident with that of the auditory functional development. The RyR expression on both hair cells and SGNs located in the synaptic area near to the plasmolemma, implying that RyR induced-CICR was related to the auditory functions such as neurotransmission. Extensive RyR expression in the soma of SGNs at the early stage possibly involved in apoptosis of SGNs during neuron development.
9.The relationship between AIF and apoptosis and the research of treatment of colorectal cancer related to AIF
International Journal of Surgery 2010;37(11):753-756
Numerous pro-apoptotic signal transducing molecules act on mitochondria and provoke the permeabilization of the outer mitochondrial membrane, thereby triggering the release of pro-apoptotic proteins potentially. One of them is much important, which called apoptosis inducing factor(AIF).Upon lethal signaling,AIF released from mitochondria, which translocates, via the cytosol to the nucleus, where it binds to DNA and provokes Caspase-independent chromatin condensation and leading to apoptosis. It has been found gradually that AIF has impotant effect in some malignant cancer cells(such as colorectal carcinoma cell), especially its regulation effect in cell death.Recently some of researches indicate that inducing cell apoptosis by effecting on the releasing or expressing of AIF, has been a new research direction of colorectal carcinoma therapy.
10.Implement bronchial provocative tests in children with asthma remission
International Journal of Pediatrics 2010;37(5):458-461
Bronchial asthma is one of the most common children health problems, with still increasing prevalence.Bronchial hyperresponsiveness is a characteristic feature of asthma, and its measurement may provide a useful adjunct in the diagnosis of asthma. Many children with asthma go into long-term clinical remission at adolescence, but bronchial hyperresponsiveness persists in approximately one half of these subjects, so implement the bronchial provocative tests in children with asthma remission may appears very important.
