1.Clinical Observation on Chronic Bronchitis (Syndrome of Phlegm Heat in the Lung) Treated with Thesium Chinese Tablets
World Science and Technology-Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2014;(7):1629-1632
This study was aimed to observe the clinical curative effect of Thesium Chinese tablets in the treatment of chronic bronchitis (syndrome of phlegm heat in the lung). A total of 100 cases of chronic bronchitis (syndrome of phlegm heat in the lung) were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with anti-inflamma-tion, relieving cough and asthma, phlegm removing and oxygen inhalation, maintenance of water electrolyte balance and other symptomatic treatment. In the treatment group, on the basis of treatments in the control group, Thesium Chinese tablets were given at the dosage of 1.6 geach time, 3 times a day. Both groups were treated for 1 course of 10 days. The results showed that clinical symptoms and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndromes of quantizing integral were improved after treatment in both groups. And the therapeutic effect of treatment group was significantly better than the control group (P< 0.01). Thesium Chinese tablets can effectively shorten the time of clinical symptom improvement time, obviously improve the level of Ig among elderly patients with acute exacerbation of chronic bron-chitis, and enhance the immune function. It was concluded that the Thesium Chinese tablets can effectively improve the quality of life among patients with chronic bronchitis (syndrome of phlegm heat in the lung).

OBJECTIVETo explore the clinical effects of anterior corpectomy decompression and titanium mesh bone graft fusion combined with titanium plate fixation in treatting multilevel cervical spondylotic myelopathy.
METHODSThe clinical data of 48 patients with multilevel cervical spondylotic myelopathy underwent surgical operation were retrospectively analyzed from October 2010 to January 2013. There were 37 males and 11 females, aged from 37 to 76 years old with an average of 54.6 years. Thirty-five cases were two-segment lesion, 7 cases were three-segment lesion, 6 cases were four-segment lesion. All the patients were treated by anterior corpectomy decompression and titanium mesh bone graft fusion combined with titanium plate fixation. ROM, JOA, VAS and SF-36 scores were recorded before and after operation(including 3, 6, 12 months after operation and final follow-up). Fusion degree and spinal canal decompression condition were observed by radiographic data.
RESULTSAll patients were followed up from 14 to 48 months, with an average of 27.3 months. At 12 months after surgery, radiographic data showed that all patients obtained bony fusion, spinal canal decompression were sufficient. Preoperative vertebral canal sagittal diameter of the most serious segment were (5.13 +/- 1.32) mm, 12 months after surgery were (9.94 +/- 1.22) mm, there was statistically significance (t=2.463, P=0.014); the degree of vertebral canal decompression were (92.15 +/- 2.35)%. Postoperative ROM, JOA, VAS and SF-36 scores were obviously improved than that of preoperative (P<0.05); there was no statistically significance of ROM, JOA, VAS and SF-36 scores in each time after operation (P>0.05).
CONCLUSIONAnterior corpectomy decompression and titanium mesh bone graft fusion combined with titanium plate fixation can obtain higher fusion rate, complete thoroughly decompression, improvement of clinical symptoms and well safety in treating multilevel cervical spondylotic myelopathy.

Objective To evaluate depression and pedicl ed omental packing for the treatment of adult polycystic kidney. Met hods Depression and pedicled omental packing was carried out for 16 patients with polycystic kidney. Results Success has bee n achieved in all and 14 patients have been followed up for 1 month to 6 years. Conclusions Depression and pedicled omental packing for the treatment of adult polycystic kidney is feasible and yields good result.

Chinese Journal of Urology 2001;0(11):-
Objective To evaluate the safety, efficacy and morbidity of transurethral electrovaporization of superficial bladder tumor (TVBt). Methods TVBt was performed in seventy-three pat iens (mean age 66 years) with superficial bladder carcinoma, twelve of them trans urethral electrovaporization of the prostate (TVP) was carried out simultaneousl y for concomitant BPH. Results The tumor was resected in one-stage for 72 cases,in two-stage for multiple tumors in one patient. The mean operative time was 29 minutes in simple TVBt group, and 78 minutes in the group performing both TVBt and TVP. Intraoperative bladde r perforation occurred in 1 case, No patient need blood transfusion for bleeding . The mean duration of an indwelling urethral catheter was 46h. All patients wer e followed up for twenty-four months, and the recurrence rate was 21% within t wo years after the operation. Conclusions TVBt is a simp le, effective and safe surgery for the treatment of superficial bladder cancer.

Objective To evaluate endoscopic management of bladder neck obstruction (BNO). Methods 44 patients suffering from BNO have been treated by transurethral resection of bladder neck (TURN). Results All patients have been followed up for 6~84 months with a mean of 48 months. The success rate has been 84%.Recurrence was observed in 4 (11%) for all of which TURN was carried out twice or three times with success. The causes of the 7 failures were neurogenic bladder, detrusor-extra-sphincter dyssynergy, BNO with chronic prostatitis (CP) or BNO with chronic cystitis in female patients. Conclusions Endoscopic management is a safe and efficient treatment for BNO.Careful consideration should be undertaken in case there is CP or for female patients.Postoperative adjunctive hormone supplement therapy and long-period urethral dilatation might be needed for preventing recurrence.

ObjectiveTo study the expression of three protein kinase C subforms in renal cell carcinoma.MethodsThe expression of cPKC?,cPKC? Ⅱ and aPKC? in renal cell carcinoma were detected by immunohistochemical method(S-P method) and by in situ hybridization.ResultsPositive rate of cPKC? ?cPKC? Ⅱ and aPKC? was 68.4%,34.2% and 44.7% respectively in renal cell carcinoma.Positive rate of cPKC? in stage T 2~T 4 tumors was 80.9%(17/21) and 52.9%(9/17) in T 1(P 0.05).The positive expression of cPKC? in deadly cases was significantly higher than in survivers (P

Objective: To evaluate the prevention of postexodontic complications by oral tissue patch embedded in socket after tooth extraction. Methods:200 patients with impacted mandibular third molar were divided into two groups at random with 100 in each group. In group 1 the oral tissue patch was put into the sockets after tooth extraction. Group 2 was the blank control.Postexodontic complications of the two groups were observed after treatment. Results:Dry socket (DS) incidence rate in group 1 and 2 was 1% and 8%(P
