Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(5):487-490
The painless needle insertion technique, summarized by Professor WU Lian-zhong during his decades of acupuncture clinical practice is introduced in this article, which is characterized as soft, flexible, fast, plucking and activating antipathogenic qi. The Sancai (three layers) lifting and thrusting manipulation technique is adopted by Professor WU for getting the qi sensation. And features of 10 kinds of needling sensation such as soreness, numbness, heaviness, distension, pain, cold, hot, radiation, jumping and contracture are summarized. Finger force, amplitude, speed and time length are also taken as the basis of reinforcing and reducing manipulations. Moreover, examples are also given to explain the needling technique on some specific points which further embodies Professor WU's unique experiences and understandings on acupuncture.

5.Treatment of spasmodic torticollis by differentiation of symptoms and signs.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2008;28(11):823-825
Spasmodic torticollis belongs to local dysmyotonia and it is a difficult and complicated disease with unknown pathogenic factor. The clinical effects of medication and operation on it are not satisfactory and there is not a safe and effective therapy for this disease at home and abroad. The authors apply flexibly the theory of treatment based on syndrome differentiation and fully exert the advantages of TCM to analyze the disease from pathogenic factor, disease and syndrome, pathogenesis and so on, and originally create acupuncture at "Wu Xin Xue" for treatment of this disease with Kaiqiao Shunjin method (resuscitation and regulating muscle) as main, clinically attaining satisfactory therapeutic effect.

Journal of Practical Radiology 2016;32(12):1906-1908
Objective To explore MRI manifestations of incomplete healing of the uterine incision after abdominal delivery. Methods Nine patients with clinical suspected incomplete healing of the uterine incision after abdominal delivery underwent cavitas pelvis MRI scans with 3.0T MRI.Results According to the characteristics of the MRI images, healing conditions of the uterine incisions were divides into 2 groups.GroupⅠwas showed that the uterine incision healed well, the uterine junctional zone and myometrium were continuous, and the incision scar was linear low signal intensity on T2 WI (2 cases,22%).GroupⅡwas showed that the uterine incisions healed incompletely, the uterine junctional zone and myometrium were discontinuous, and the myometrium edema was in some cases with high signal intensity on T2 WI (7 cases,78%).Conclusion MRI could directly displays incomplete healing of the uterine incision after cesarean section, provide the basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment.

AIM: To observe the immunoregulation of all ogeneic cornea on the human peripheral blood T lymphocytes in vitro. METHODS: After Co-culture of human peripheral blood lymphocytes and allogeneic cornea in vitro, T lymphocytes were labeled by monoclonal ant ibody, and analyzed by fluorescent activated cell sorter (FACS). RESULTS: CD25 expression on T lymphocytes in control was 25.2%, after stimulated by the allogeneic cornea or PDB, CD25 expression on T lymphocy tes was 56.8% and 80.9%, respectively. After stimulated by the allogeneic corn ea, CD25 expression on CD 4+ or CD 8+ T lymphocytes were 67.3% and 52.3% , respectively. CONCLUSION: Allageneic cornea stimulates CD25 expression on huma n peripheral blood T lymphocytes, and the CD25 expression on CD 4+ T lymphocy tes is more prominent than CD 8+ T lymphocytes.

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(6):569-571
With references of historical materials and modern literature regarding acupoint characteristic, a secondary analysis on the concept, origin, related factors and research methods in present research of acupoint characteristic is performed. The acupoint characteristic should be considered as an acupoint inherent attribute that could explain physiological and pathological manifestations at the same time, including location attribute and function attribute, which is related with time and treatment method. Some re-thinking on acupoint characteristic is proposed as well as advice on further research method and direction, hoping to promote the research development of acupoint characteristic.

Chinese Journal of Neuromedicine 2010;9(1):61-63
Objective To explore the efficacy of microsurgery on petroclival meningiomas. Methods A retrospective analysis of the clinical data and the prognosis of microsurgery was performed on 21 patients with petroclival meningioma.Suboccipital retrosigmoid approach was adopted in 3 and supra-or infra-tentorial transpetrosal presigmoid approach was adopted in 18.The clinical manifestations and surgical outcomes were analyzed to evaluate the significance of microsurgery. Results Of the 21 patients with petroclival meningioma, total resection(Simpson I,Ⅱ)and sub-total resection(Simpson Ⅲ)were achieved in 11 and 5,respectively;resection of major part was obtained in 4 and partial resection was obtained in 1 with 1 postoperative death. At the early stage of postoperation,5 patients developed oculomotor palsy and 4 developed dysfunction of facial nerve;2 were found caudal cranial nerve palsy and 2 were found hemiplegia contralateral to the tumor. All these patients were followed up for about 3 months to 4 years:3 recovered from the oculomotor palsy 1 month after the operation and 3 recovered from the dysfunction of facial nerve 3 months after the operation;2 recovered from caudal cranial nerve palsy 1 week after the operation and 2 recovered from hemiplegia 1 month after the operation.5 were performed γ knife radiotherapy without tuinor recurrence. Conclusion Choosing the fight approach is the key to petroclival meningiomas management and presigmoid approach is the most effective way at present.

Chinese Journal of Neuromedicine 2012;11(3):286-289
Objective To evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability ofdopamine agonists (pramipexole or piribedil) in the treatment of patients with Parkinson' disease (PD) as an adjunct to levodupa and benserazide. Methods Included in the present study were 40 PD patients who received pramipexole or piribedil as an adjunct to levodopa and benserazide for 12 weeks in our institute. They were divided into a Madopa + pramipexole group (n=20) and a Madopa + piribedil group (n=20)according to the therapeutic drugs they received. The efficacy of dopamine agonist was assessed by the UTDRS score. The safety and tolerability were assessed on the basis of adverse events and blood pressure. Results After respective administration of pramipexole and piribedil for 12 weeks, the UPDRS Ⅰ -Ⅳ scores in the 2 groups were significantly reduced (P<0.05).The average UPDRS-Ⅰ score improved from 2.85±2.41 to 1.2±l.64 points in the pramipexole group and from 2.8+1.28 to 1.85±1.35points in the piribedil group, with significant differences (P<0.05). The average UPDRS-Ⅳ score improved respectively from 1.85±2.60 to 0.5±0.83 in the pramipexole group and from 1.75±1.74 to 0.75±0.91 in the piribedil,as compared with base-line and week 12,showing superiority ofpramipexole over piribedil in these aspects. The total clinical efficacy was 80% in the pramipexole group and 75% in the piribedil group, with no significant difference between the 2 groups (P>0.05).No significant difference was found between the pramipexole and piribedil groups in terms of adverse events (55% versus 70%)(P>0.05). Conclusions Pramipexole or piribedil is effective and well-tolerated in the treatment of patients with Parkinson's disease as an adjunct to levodopa and benserazide,at least with short-term use.Pramipexole may be superior to piribedil in terms of improvement of complications in psychiatrics, behavior, emotion and motion of the PD patients.
