Objective To investigate the optimal mild hypothermia course and cerebral temperature of the neonatal rats after hypoxic-ischemic brain injury. Methods The posthypoxic-ischemic rats of experimental group (n=60) were placed in the glass jars immeresd in water bath held constaut at either 29 C or 3l C for 24h, 48h or 72h. While the rats of room temperature group (n=22) were stayed in room air. Blood glucose, blood gases and neuropathology findings were studied to determine the therapeutic effects. Results The brain temperature droped 3C or 5C when enviro ment temperature was 31C or 29C respectively. The blood glucose remained normal. Neuropathology findings reveled that the brain damage of experimental rats reduced 46%～86% compared to the room temperature group. Conclusion Reducing the cerebral temperature by 4～5 C for 72 hours after hypoxic-ischemic brain injury can lead to superior protective effect.

Objective To observe the effect of pulmonary surfactant(PS) on lung function and ventilator parameters of neonatal respiratory distress syndrome(NRDS) in the advanced stage.Methods Twenty-eight infants with NRDS were given PS in one dose by endotracheal intubation on the left side,right side,feet high with head low,and level decub respectively.The dose of PS was 100-150 mg/kg each time,each posture slow note of the drug were required 1/4,out of the straw,hand-controlled ventilation,to reduce fluid loss,with the exception of a clear airway obstruction,within 6 hours after the administration not to shoot back suction,to give mechanical ventilation after the injection.Lung function parameters were also measured:pressure of oxygen in artery[p_a(O_2)],carbon dioxide partial pressure[p_a(CO_2)],the ratio of pressure of oxygen in artery and alveolar oxygen partial pressure[a/Ap(O_2)] and oxygenation index(OI) were determined.Ventilator parameters were determined:oxygen concentration(FiO_2),oxygen peak(PIP),end-expiratory positive pressure(PEEP) and mean airway pressure(MAP) were determined.These numerical data were analyzed and compared before and after treatment with PS.Clinical manifestations,thoracic X-ray changes,survival rate and incidence rate of complications were also analyzed and compared before and after PS therapy.Results p_a(O_2),a/Ap(O_2) showed significant upgrade and OI had a decrease after PS administration in comparison with those before PS therapy.The ventilator parameters(except for PEEP) acquired were also lower after drug administration than those in before drug therapy.There were significant differences in both stages(P_a90%,respiratory sound in 24 cases enhanced,the observation of chest film after 24 h indicated that,lesions in 21 cases improved significantly,5 cases took a favorable turn.The survival rate was 85.7%.The incidence rate of complication was as follows:pneumonia was 25%,patent ductus arteriosus was 10.7%,pneumorrhagia was 7.1% and intraventricular hemorrhage was 3.6%,respectively.Conclusion Respiratory function of NRDS is significantly improved by using PS in the advanced stage,and therapeutic effect is apparent.

MicroRNAs (miRNA) plays an important role in biological development and disease occurrence and development, and acts as a "main switch" in biology. Among patients of essential hypertension, around 1/3 would suffer left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH). Hence, essential hypertension becomes an independent risk factor for cardiovascular diseases. And miRNAs plays an important role in the occurrence and development of LVH. This paper reviewed the role of miRNA in regulating the stress signaling pathway, defined its impact on the occurrence of LVH, and further emphasized the opportunities and challenges of miRNA as a biomarker and therapeutic target.

ObjectiveTo compare the surgical outcomes of total abdominal hysterectomy (TAH) and total vaginal hysterectomy (TVH).MethodsThe clinical data of 509 TAH cases and 799 TVH cases including operating time, bleeding volume, days being in hospital and outcome of 3 months following-up were analyzed retrospectively.ResultsThe average operating time and bleeding volume of TVH were 47.6 minutes and 199 ml respectively, less than that of TAH (128 minutes and 241 ml). The days being in hospital of TVH were also less that of TAH, and 12-Short Form Health Survey (SF-12) scores of TVH were higher than that of TAH.ConclusionTVH has minor lesion and is helpful for improving the quality of patients' life.

Objective To reveal and forecast the incidence trend of Brucellosis, in order to provide acientific basis for future intervention and policy-making. Methods Descriptive epidemiological method was used to analyze and statistically describe the distribution of the disease in different times, different locations and different (7.0783/10 million to 13.1257/10 million) and Qingxu ( 1.4811/10 million to 8.5241/10 million) were higher,followed by Yangqu county(0 to 5.8232/10 million), Xiaodian(0.8108/l0 million to 2.4229/10 million) and Jinyuan district ( 0.5329/ 10 million to 1.5896/10 million), and the remaining counties(districts) in the annual There were 223 cases of Brucellosis patients from 2006 to 2009 in Taiyuan. Vocational high risk population was farmers, with a total of 140 cases, accounting for 62.78% of the total number of incidence, followed by students and workers, respectively, 13, 14 cases, accounting for 5.83% and 6.28%, other occupational groups, 56 cases,77.58%;28 cases aged above 60 years, accounting for 12.56%;22 cases aged younger than 19 years, accounting identical in the four years, most cases occurred in spring and summer and showing a clear seasonal high.Conclusions The incidence trend of Brucellosis is on the rise from 2006 to 2009. High risk population is farmer,and the number of younger patients is on the rise, we propose strengthen protection for high risk groups.

Objective To investigate the role of the predictive prognostic value of BRCA1 screened by whole genome expression profiling in ductal carcinoma in situ.Methods Collected 4 cases of breast ductal carcinoma and 4 cases of breast invasive ductal carcinoma fresh samples from January 2014 to June 2014,and the difference of BRCA1 expression on whole genone expression profiling was analyzed by microarray comparative genomic hybridization.The expression of BRCA1 was detected by immunohistochemistry in 70 cases of ductal carcinoma in situ of the breast,and the prognosis of intraductal carcinoma was evaluated.Results BRCA1 gene differentially expressed in invasive ductal carcinoma and ductal carcinoma in situ by screening.The positive rate of BRCA1 protein in breast ductal carcinoma in 14.3％ (10/70),its expression had no significant relationship with age (P =0.959),menopause (P =0.959),tumor size (P =0.627),axillary lymph node status (P =1.000),HR status (P =0.958),HER-2 status (P =1.000),P53 expression (P =0.460).ductal carcinoma with micro-infiltration ratio in BRCA1 negative group was higher than BRCA1-positive group (P =0.043).The median follow-up of 47 months,Disease-free survival rate of all was 97.1％.Disease-free survival of BRCA1 negative group and BRCA1-positive group had no significant difference (96.7％ vs 100％,P =0.569),over all survival of BRCA1 negative and positive groups was 100％.Conclusions BRCA1 expression may not predict the prognosis of intraductal carcinoma,but ductal carcinoma in situ with microinvasion group ratio in BRCA1 negative was higher than ductal carcinoma in situ group,BRCA1 may take affect within ductal carcinoma infiltration process work.

Objective To study the effect of lidocaine on the expression of CD11b/CD18 and MPO in lung injury after hemorrhagic shock in rats. Methods Eighty male Wistar rats weighing 230-270 g were randomly divided into 4 groups: sham operation group ( group Ⅰ, n = 8 ) received operation without shock, shock group ( group Ⅱ, n = 8 ) received hemorrhagic shock without resuscitation , normal saline treatment group (group Ⅲ, n = 32 ) received normal saline after shock, lidocaine treatment group ( group Ⅳ, n = 32 ) received lidocaine after shock. The animals were anesthetized with intraperitoneal pentobarbital sodium 40 mg? kg-1 . Hemorrhagic shock was induced by withdrawing blood from right femoral artery at the rate of 2.0 ml?kg-1? min-1 , MAP was maintained at 40 mm Hg for 60 min before resuscitation. Direct arterial MAP and HR were continuously monitored. Group Ⅳwas received lidoacaine at the beginning of resuscitation with a bonus dose 2.0 mg? kg-1 and then followed continuous infusion1.0mg?kg-1?h-1 for 2 h. Group III was received the same dose of normal saline. Flow cytometric analysis was used to assess the expression of CD11b/CD18 on leukocyte and the change of myeloperoxidase (MPO) in the lung was studied at the end of shock (groupⅡ ) and at 2,4, 8, 12 h after resuscitation (group Ⅲ, group Ⅳ) . The rats were sacrificed and the piece of lung was immediately removed for electron microscopic examination. Result In group Ⅲand group Ⅳ ,the expression of CD11b/CD18 on PMNs and MPO in lung were increased significantly compared with Group Ⅰ. Objective To assess the application value of disposable syringe of low resistance (SLR) in epidural puncture.Methods One hundred and thirty-two patients scheduled to undergoing selective operation under epidural or combined epidural-spinal anesthesia were divided into glass syringe (GS) group and SLR group with 66 cases each by random digits table method.GS was applied in local anesthesia and epidural puncture with loss of resistance in GS group.While SLR was used in SLR group.The defect of the syringes' appearance was evaluated.The fastness between each sub-unit during the procedure was observed.The rupture,dropping,leakage,air leakage and blockage were also estimated.The heart rate,blood pressure,oxygen saturation and other adverse events were also observed.Results In SLR group,syringe excepted 1 case of slight resistance but did not affect the use,the rest of the components connected firmly,surface without defects,clear scale uniform color,not observed rupture,air leakage,leakage and blockage phenomenon,pump liquid and air resistance was small.In GS group,syringe surface without defects,clear scale uniform color,3 cases had loose connection,1 case with rupture when using,5 cases with air leakage and leakage,3 cases of pumping liquid or dry air resistance to 0.9％ sodium chloride and moist after use.There was significant difference in appearance and usage between two groups (x2 =10.324 5,P =0.001 3).There was no significant difference in a puncture success,first three puncture success and inject air negative pressure sensitivity between two groups (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion SLR is worth to be applied in epidural puncture.
