The TCM theory of XueyuYundu believes that blood stasis and poison is the fundament of endometriosis. Long term of blood stasis may convert to poison and further aggravate the blood stasis. This article has summarized literatures about poison stasis syndrome and blood stasis syndrome. On this basis, we introduced a self-made prescription, QuyuJiedu Decoction, and the theoretical and laboratory study progress of this decoction, for the purpose of providing a new method for treating endometriosis.

OBJECTIVE: To observe the effects of Quyu Jiedu Granule, a compound traditional Chinese herbal medicine for removing blood stasis and expelling superficial evils, on the quality of oocytes and the expressions of tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha)and interleukin-6 (IL-6) mRNAs in ovarian granulosa cells of endometriosis (EM) rats. METHODS: Forty EM rats were randomly divided into two groups: experimental group and control group. There were 20 EM rats in each group. The uteri of another 20 SD rats were drawn in sham-operated group. The number and percentage of high quality oocytes and the levels of TNF-alpha and IL-6 mRNA expressions in the granulosa cells of EM rats were detected by using reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction. RESULTS: The number and percentage of high quality oocytes in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05), and the levels of TNF-alpha and IL-6 mRNAs in granulose cells in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). CONCLUSION: The increase of the TNF-alpha and IL-6 mRNA expressions in ovarian granulose cells of EM rats leads to the decrease of the oocyte quality. The mechanism of Quyu Jiedu Granule in improving the quality of oocytes may be related to the decrease of TNF-alpha and IL-6 mRNA expressions in ovarian granulosa cells.

Methods: The electrocardiogram and DNA samples were obtained from a Chinese LQTS family of 26 members. Genotype was performed with polymorphic short tandem repeat (STR) markers at the known LQT1, LQT2, and LQT3 loci. SSCP analysis was used to find aberrant conformers. hERG mutation was confirmed by cloning and sequencing. Results: Three gene carriers were linked to chromosome 7q35-36, where the potassium channel gene hERG was encoded. A 19-base pair deletion was identified. The mutation was located at nucleotide position 1619-1637 between transmembrane domains S4 and S5. Furthermore, A1692G polymorphism was found both in the normal control and patients. Conclusion: A novel 19 bp deletion mutation of hERG is identified in a Chinese family. All gene carriers are demonstrated to be typical LQT2 ECG phenotype.

Objective To discuss the effect of light invasive treatment of endometrial in husband sperm intrauterine insemination outcomes.Methods A total of 248 patients receiving husband sperm intrauterine insemination were divided into two groups by random digits table method.The patients in light invasive treatment of endometrial group (138 cases with 246 cycles) were performed with light invasive treatment of endometrial,and the patients in control group (110 cases with 201 cycles) were not perfomed with light invasive treatment of endometrial.Human chorionic gonadotropin day of endometrial thickness,intrauterine insemination tube placed successfully or not,whether fertilization tube bloody and clinical pregnancy rates and so on were compared between two groups.Results There was no significant difference in human chorionic gonadotropin day of endometrial thickness between two groups (P ＞ 0.05).The success rate of intrauterine insemination tube placement in light invasive treatment of endometrial group was 78.5％ (193/246),which was higher than that in control group (65.2％,131/201),and there was significant difference (P ＜ 0.05).The intrauterine insemination tube bloody rate in light invasive treatment of endometrial group was 13.4％ (33/246),which was lower than that in control group (34.8％,70/201),and there was significant difference (P ＜ 0.05).The pregnancy rate in light invasive treatment of endometrial group was 31.9％ (44/138),which was higher than that in control group (18.2％,20/110),and there was significant difference (P ＜ 0.05).There were no significant differences in ectopic pregnancy rate and abortion rate between two groups (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion Through light invasive treatment of endometrial the husband sperm intrauterine insemination outcomes can be improved.

Objective The correlation and agreement of mycophenolic acid (MPA) plasma concentrations that detected by enzyme extended immunoassay (EMIT) and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) were studied using Pearson's correlation and Bland-Altman plots.METHODS 435 plasma samples were collected from 95 renal transplant patients who were treated with MPA from October 2014 to December 2015.The MPA plasma concentrations were simultaneously measured by EMIT and HPLC respectively,and the results were divided into two levels.Paired t test and Pearson's correlation were performed using SPSS13.0 to evaluate the relationships between the results in each level.The Bland-Altman plot was used to assess the agreement of the results of two methods.Results Higher concentrations were obtained with EMIT,there was a significant positive bias of EMIT for MPA(20.94％ ±14.42 ％,P＜0.001).Pearson's correlation analysis and Bland-Altman analysis showed that the results from different methods presented good correlation (r＞0.98) and agreement.Conclusion The results of EMIT were higher than that of HPLC.There were good correlation and agreement between the two methods.The differences between EMIT and HPLC suggest that different therapeutic window should be set up when the two methods are used for MPA therapeutic drug monitoring.

Objective To investigate the application validity of the adjusted norm of WAIS-RC in the identification of intellectual disability.Methods128 patients with mental retardation (MR) were chosen for identification of the intellectual disability, measured their full scale IQs (FIQ) according to the original norm, calculated their four-subtest short forms FIQ respectively by Tellegen way according to the original standard norm and the new adjusted norm, then compared and analyzed the outcomes.ResultsThe short forms FIQ according to the original and the new norm had high correlation to full forms FIQ (P<0.01). The average of the short forms FIQ was higher than full forms FIQ according to the original norm (P<0.01), showing no significant difference according to the new norm(P＞0.05). In severe intelligence defected group according to full forms IQ, the grade classification corresponding rate of short forms FIQ according to the new norm was 0.00%, as well as the original norm. That in medium and mild intelligence defected groups was higher than that of original norm(P＜0.01).ConclusionThe test validity of adjusted norm short forms of WAIS-RC is superior to the original norm, but not suitable for severe intelligence defected.

Objective To investigate the role of Xuebijing injection in inhibiting perioperative inflammatory responses and protecting the function of multiple organs.Methods A single-blind,randomized,parallel controlled trial was conducted.60 patients in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine,aged 18 to 80 years,ASA grade Ⅰ-Ⅲ,undergoing elective abdominal surgery,were enrolled.The patients were randomly divided into the control group (n =30) and the treatment group (n =30).In the control group,after induction of anesthesia,a continuous infusion of 0.9％ normal saline (NS) 200 mL was given in a speed of 2 mL/min,while a continuous infusion of Xuebijing 2 mL/kg in 100 mL of 0.9％ NS was given at 2 mL/min in the treatment group after induction of anesthesia.The blood sample was drawn,and body temperature,routine blood test,C-reactive protein (CRP),liver and kidney function,fasting glucose (Glu),and serum interleukin-6 (IL-6),high mobility group protein B 1 (HMGB 1) levels were determined in all the patients before anesthesia (T1),at the end of operation (T2),12 hours after operation (T3),or at 5:00 am on the third day after operation (T4).At the same time the adverse reactions were recorded for evaluation of the safety of Xuebijing.Results After using Xuebijing injection,T3 body temperature and the T3-T1 temperature difference in treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group(℃℃:36.70 ± 0.37 vs.37.38 ± 0.47,t＝6.199,P＝0.000; 0.07 ± 0.50 vs.0.85 ±0.58,t＝5.598,P＝0.000).Postoperative white blood cell count,neutrophil percentage,and CRP were significantly higher than those before the operation,but the differences between two groups were not statistically significant.Compared with the control group,alanine aminotransferase (ALT),aspartate transaminase (AST),total bilirubin (TBil) levels at T3 of treatment group were significantly reduced [ALT (U/L):17.56 ± 9.80 vs.88.60 ± 179.76,AST(U/L):27.53 ± 13.12 vs.84.16 ± 151.14,TBil(μ,mol/L):15.46 ± 9.79 vs.25.63 ± 25.33,all P＜0.05].Difference of conjugated bilirubin (CB),blood urea nitrogen (BUN),creatinine (Cr),Glu were not statistically significant between two groups.IL-6 showed an increasing trend after the operation in both groups,and IL-6 level (ng/L) at T2 of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group (41.42 ± 59.74 vs.124.84 ± 119.66,t=3.405,P=0.001).The HMGB 1 level of two groups at T4 were lower than those at T1,but it decreased significantly only in treatment group (μg/L:22.03 ± 15.73 vs.45.09 ± 33.79,P＜0.05),and there was no significant difference between two groups.No serious adverse events occurred during the clinical trial.Conclusions Application of Xuebijing injection during anesthesia can significantly diminish postoperative inflammatory injury,which plays an important role in the protection of liver function,helps restore organ function and improve prognosis,and it is safe and effective.
