Objective:To evaluate the safety and efficacy of high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) ablation for the VX2 liver tumor near the hepatic main blood vessels of rabbits by using dosimetry and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and by analyzing path-ological changes and survival. Methods:Rabbits with VX2 liver tumor adjacent to the abdominal aorta were divided into the HIFU (n=32) and control groups (n=20). MRI-guided HIFU was employed for the ablation of the liver tumor in the HIFU group. The ablation vol-ume and the energy efficiency factor (EEF) of the 32 ablated rabbits were further analyzed. MRI and pathology were used to compare the changes in the tumor before and after HIFU. The survival of the animals in the HIFU and control groups was also determined. Re-sults: Both pathology and imaging showed that the rabbit liver VX2 tumor adjacent to the abdominal aorta was completely ablated, with an EEF of (25.72±11.40) J/mm3. The survival rate was significantly higher in the HIFU group than in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: HIFU ablation is safe and effective in rabbit VX2 liver tumor near the abdominal aorta. This approach significantly in-creases survival.

Introduction: Caregivers have a high risk of mental health disorders. The quality of patient care is
inseparable from the mental health status of caregivers. The objective of this research was to study the
mental health status among caregivers of psychiatric patients and its associated factors.
Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted among 198 caregivers in Kuching from January till
July 2014. The respondents were recruited using systematic sampling and were required to provide
information on sociodemographic and environmental factors as well as complete the Hospital Anxiety
and Depression Scale (HADS) questionnaire. The data was analysed using the IBM SPSS Statistical
Software Version 20.0.
Results: The prevalence rates of anxiety and depression among caregivers were 32.8% and 27.8%,
respectively. The caregiver’s age (OR=0.97, 95% CI = 0.953 - 0.996), the perception of caregiving as an economic burden (OR= 2.70, 95% CI= 1.256 - 5.803) and the dependence of the patient (OR= 2.27, 95% CI= 1.087 - 4.719) were associated with anxiety. A caregiver who was male (OR= 2.21, 95% CI= 1.143 - 4.262), a caretaker who held the perception that a patient was dependent on them (OR=2.53, 95% CI= 1.203 - 5.337) , and a caretaker who lacked stress-coping skills (OR=2.48, 95% CI= 1.030 - 5.973) were found to be significant factors in depression.
Conclusion: A high prevalence of probable anxiety and depression among caregivers points to the need to screen caregivers. There is a vital need to train healthcare workers to be able to detect early anxiety and depression. Culturally sensitive research should be carried out for different ethnicity, and improving the support system for caregivers is necessary

West China Journal of Stomatology 2008;26(1):15-18
OBJECTIVETo evaluate wear resistance and hardness of three kinds of new composite resins.
METHODSThree kinds of new composite resins, Solidex, Spectrum, Filtek Z350, were tested. Enamel as control group. A refited MG-200 wear machine was used in this study. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) was used to observe the friction surface of each tested material. Hardness of each tested material was determined by Vickers indentation technique. The data of wear and hardness were analyzed by Mann-Whitney test and 1-way ANOVA. The relationship between the hardness of the composites and the amount of wear of them was determined by a regression analysis method.
RESULTSFiltek Z350 showed the lowest volumetric wear and highest Vickers hardness in the composites (P < 0.05). No significant differences in wear and hardness were observed between Solidex and Spectrum (P > 0.05). Significant relationships were observed between the hardness of the composites and the amount of wear of them (r = 0.968 6) (P < 0.05). Different wear characters of the friction surface of the tested materials were observed by SEM.
CONCLUSIONNanofilled composite was superior to the hybrid composite in wear resistance and hardness.

West China Journal of Stomatology 2008;26(5):503-525
OBJECTIVETo research the influence of gilt to the retention of the complete metal crown.
METHODSSixty Ni-Cr alloy complete metal crown were divided into three groups, control group (common Ni-Cr alloy complete metal crown), whole gold-plating group (whole gilding on the tissue surface of the inner Ni-Cr alloy complete metal crown), partial gold-plating group (gilding on the tissue surface of 1/3 cervical inner Ni-Cr alloy complete metal crown). The retention force of complete metal crown was measured by tensile force/pressure ergograph.
RESULTSThe retention force of control group, partial gold-plating group, whole gold-plating group were (657 +/- 151) N, (632 +/- 139) N, (569 +/- 103) N, respectively. There were significant differences between control group and whole gold-plating group, whole gold-plating group and partial gold-plating group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference between control group and partial gold-plating group (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSIONThe force of retention would decrease after gilding on the tissue surface of the inner Ni-Cr alloy complete metal crown, but have no influence to normal retention requirement of complete crown. Although the retention of partial gold-plating complete metal crown had somewhat decrease, it could be ignored.

International Eye Science 2017;17(3):568-570
AIM: To investigate the clinical characteristics and surgical effects in patients with Duane retraction syndrome(DRS).
METHODS: Totally 13 patients with DRS during June 2011 to December 2015 were analyzed retrospectively. The data including clinical types and manifestations, surgical methods and outcomes were reviewed and analyzed.
RESULTS: There were 11 male cases and 2 female cases who all had no ocular and systemic anomalies. The left eye was involved in 9 cases, the right eye was involved in 3 cases and 1 case involved in both eyes. Six cases were type Ⅰ,1 case was typeⅡand 6 cases were type Ⅲ. Eleven cases had abnormal head posture(AHP), 9 cases had the up- or down-shoot phenomenon. The surgical treatment was designed according to subtypes and clinical features which included medial rectus recession, lateral rectus recession, recession of both horizontal rectus muscles and lateral rectus recession combined with Y splitting. After surgery, horizontal deviation was less than ±10△ in all patients, and AHP disappeared in 4 cases and improved in 7 cases. The up- or down-shoot and global retraction disappeared in 5 cases and improved in 4 cases. Simultaneously, the restriction of ocular motility was improved in all patients.
CONCLUSION: The clinical features of DRS are variant in different types. Detailed examination before surgery and reasonable surgical design are important in treatment of patients with DRS.

Chinese Journal of Radiology 2000;0(12):-
Objective To provide a practicable method for the complete display and localization of the posterolateral structures (PLS) of the normal knee through MRI study. Methods 30 tibial bone specimens were observed to establish the bony landmark for localizing the knee. In 50 cadaver knees, the angles between lateral tibial plateau and the long axis of the individual structure of PLS were measured. Then the scan methods of the oblique MR images were determined based on above results. The routine and oblique scans of T 1WI were performed in 40 normal knees. The display effect and appearance of the PLS were observed on MRI. Results The lateral tibial plateau was a stable bony landmark for measuring and localizing of the knee. In the 40 normal knees, The fibular collateral ligament could be intactly displayed on 70? posterior coronal oblique images in 34 cases (85%). The popliteus could be better seen on either 45? medial sagittal oblique in 34 cases (85%) or 60? posterior coronal oblique planes in 36 cases (90%). The popliteofibular ligament could be intactly appreciated on both 60? posterior coronal oblique in 32 cases (80%) and 70? lateral sagittal oblique images in 34 cases (85%). Although the arcuate ligament and the fabellofibular ligament could occasionally be seen on routine and oblique images, but the display rate was lower. Conclusion The oblique MR imaging can intactly display the main structures of PLS, and can be useful in diagnosing the injuries in those structures.
