4.Analysis of the“Wind Tranquilizing Method”Used by Pro. Lian Jianwei for Vertigo Treatment
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2013;(11):1289-1290,1293
[Objective] To conclude the clinical experience of vertigo treatment using“wind tranquilizing method”by Pro. Lian Jianwei. [Method] Through analyzing clinical cases, generalizing the major syndrome, basic formula and formula modification of “wind tranquilizing method”used by Pro. Lian Jianwei to treat vertigo. [Result] The major pathogenesis of vertigo is wind, fire, phlegm, blood stasis and deficiency of blood. Pathological change of vertigo is in liver and so the treatment requires the tranquilizing of the liver-wind. Pro. Lian Jianwei is good at using“wind tranquilizing method”to cure vertigo caused by liver-wind stirring internal y. The formula of“wind tranquilizing method”takes into account the nature of vertigo and the physiological characteristics of the liver. He is also good at modifying the formula according to the patient conditions. [Conclusion] Pro. Lian Jianwei is good at prescrib-ing formula according to principles and treating methods. He also has deep understanding for the characteristic of vertigo and liver. Therefore the formula of his“wind tranquilizing method”has clinical value in terms of vertigo treatment.
5.SERUM CONTENT OF B2 MICROGLOBULIN IN VIRAL HEPATITIS PATIENTS
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(06):-
?2 Microglobulin levels were measured by radioimmunoassay in the serum of 114 patients with viral hepatitis and asymptomatic HBsAg carriers, and compared with 24 normal controls.Elevated serum ?2 microglobulin levels were found in acute viral hepatitis, chronic persistent or active hepatitis. The quantity of the serum ?2 microglobulin was remarkably increased in the chronic active hepatitis (P
6.A Comparative Study of the Expressions of ets-2, IGF-Ⅱ, C-myc and N-ras in Human Primary Hepatocelluiar Carcinoma and Tumor-adjacent Tissues
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1982;0(01):-
The expressions of ets-2, IGF-Ⅱ, C-myc and N-ras in 12 pairs of human primary hepatocellular carcinoma (PHC) and tumor - adjacent tissues are presented in the present paper. The results showed that there was at least one of the four oncogenes studied overexpressed in the 12 pairs of samples. ets -2 was the most commonly expressed oncogene seen in all the PHC and tumor - adjacent tissues, with 3. 5 and 2.4 kb as the major two bands, which differed from the evenly expressed 4. 5, 3. 5 and 2. 4 kb bands in the normal control livers. In six tumor-adjacent tissues the expression of ets-2 was higher than that in PHC. IGF-Ⅱ was expressed as 5. 0 and 2. 0 kb fetal transcripts in PHC and tumor-adjacent tissues, while in the normal control livers it was 5. 6 kb. One tumor-adjacent tissue had IGF-Ⅱ fetal transcripts expressed but the corresponding PHC had no IGF -Ⅱexpressed, indicating the reverse differentiation in PHC. N-ras was expressed as 4. 0 kb band in 8 out of 12 PHC and in 6 out of 12 tumor-adjacent tissues. In two cases the expression of N-ras was higher in tumor-adjacent tissues than in PHC. 5. 6 and 2. 6 kb N -ras transcripts were also detected in one pair of PHC and tumor -adjacent tissue and in two tumor - adjacent tissues, together with the 4.0 kb transcript. C - myc was expressed as 4. 0 kb band in 9 out of 12 PHC and in 6 out of 12 tumor-adjacent tissues. One tumor-adjacent tissue had higher C-myc expression than PHC. In two PHC 2. 2 kb C-myc transcript was detected besides the 4.0 kb transcript. The roles and relationships of these oncogenes in the carcinoge-nesis of human PHC are discussed in detail.
7.The States of HBV in Human Primary Hepatoceilular Carcinoma and Tumor-adjacent Tissues: A Comparative Study
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1981;0(03):-
The present paper reports on the study of HBV states in human primary hepatocellular carcinoma (PHC) and tumor-adjacent tissues. The results showed that in 11/12 PHC (91.5%) and 9/12 tumor-adjacent tissues (75%) there were integrated forms of HBV DNA. The amount of HBV integrated in PHC was higher than that in tumor-adjacent tissues, indicating a clonal selection for liver cells containing integrated HBV during the malignant transformation of PHC. In two tumor-adjacent tissues only free HBV was found, while in the corresponding PHCs there was integrated HBV DNA. This suggests that integration had taken place in the process of carcinogenesis of PHC. It was also observed in this study that four patients had putatively defective HBV in their liver cells which could be replicated but not be secreted into serum. The possible role of HBV in the carcinogenesis of PHC is discussed
8.Effect of tranexamic acid on blood loss in vein and joint of patients with total knee arthroplasty
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2014;37(7):105-107
Objective To study the effect of tranexamic acid on the blood loss in vein and joint of patients with total knee arthroplasty. Methods 90 patients diagnosed with primary osteoarthritis from January 2012 to December 2013 were selected as subject. They were scheduled for the first-time unilateral total knee arthroplasty. All patients were divided into three groups randomly.Experimental group one was tranexamic acid intravenously,Experiment group two was given tranexamic acid with knee local injection, and Experimental group three was given nothing.Hemoglobin and total blood loss were detected and compared in 48 hours after operation in three groups;subcutaneous ecchymosis situation within 7 days were recorded and compared. Results Hemoglobin levels of Experiment group one and Experiment group two in 20 hours and 48 hours after operation were more than those of Experiment group three significantly (P<0.05 );hemoglobin levels in three groups in 20 hours and 48 hours after operation were all less than before operation (P<0.05 ),and hemoglobin in 20 hours after operation were all less than those of 48 hours.Total blood loss, blood transfusion cases and subcutaneous ecchymosis in Experiment group one and Experiment group two were all less than those in Experiment group three (P<0.05 ), but there was no statistically significant difference of those datas between Experiment group one and Experiment group two. Conclusion Tranexamic acid could reduce blood loss in knee replacement surgery and reduce the suffering and economic burden of patients.
9.Clinical research advancement of fecal calprotectin during the neonatal period
International Journal of Pediatrics 2013;40(6):589-592
Neonatal gastrointestinal dysfunction was closely related to postnatal growth retardation.Looking for an early specific indicator to reflect gastrointestinal function was important.Calprotectin was a calciumzinc binding protein mainly in human neutrophil granulocytes, which was the marker of acute inflammatory cell activation.Fecal calprotectin was expressed at high levels during the neonatal period and was significantly higher in the intestinal damage, which could be used as the marker of intestinal illnesses (such as feeding intolerance, neonatal diarrhea, necrotizing enterocolitis). This review will summarize the characteristics of fecal calprotectin in neonates and its clinical significance as a noninvasive marker of intestinal illnesses during the neonatal period.
