1.The tube produced from chitosan and discussion on its clinical use
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 2000;21(6):588-590
ObjectiveTo explore the method of preparing the tube from chitosan and study the biocompatibility between blood and chitosan. Methods3% chitosan-based hydrolgels were pro-duced from acetic acid and chitosan. The needles coated with chitosan were submerged in NaOHaqueous solutions. The tubes of chitosan were taken off from the needle. The portosystemic shuntswere created using the tube of chitosan. This model without heparin was observed whether the intes-tinal congestion developed or not. ResultsIt was shown that the chitosan-based tube has blood in 8rats went back to veinal system. ConclusionIt was easy to prepare the tube from chitosan. Thetubes have an excellent biocompatibility with blood.

24 days in mm, V1:the degree of expansion in ml) had linear correlation, E1=(0.86V1?0.60) mm. Conclusion The results of the study demonstrate that CT is an accurate and reliable imaging technique in the evaluation of the degree of expansion of the injured orbit and in the prediction of the possibility of the consequent enophthalmos and its degree. It is significantly helpful to the therapeutic planning for the quantity the retroglobal filling in the rectification of the enophthalmos.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2017;33(4):442-446
Objective:To investigate the effects of recombinant human interluekin-1 receptor antogonist (rhIL-1Ra) on the cartilage repair in rat temporomandibular joint(TMJ) with osteoarthritis(OA).Methods:Collagenase-Ⅱ was injected into bilateral TMJs of 24 adult rats for the induction of bilateral TMJOA,1 week after injection,5μg rhIL-1Ra(diluted in 0.05 ml normal saline) was injected into each right TMJ and the left joint received the same amount of normal saline injection as the control.12 animals were sacrificed at 2and 4 weeks after the first injection respectively.HE staining, immunnohistochemical method and RT-PCR examination were conducted.Mankins scere was used to evaluate the TMJOA degree.1 adult SD rat was used as healthy control, and sacrificed at 2 weeks of the experiment. Results:The TMJs of both sides showed typical OA-related cartilage degradation 2 week after IL-1Ra treatment, the Mankin~ score of the IL-1Ra treated and control joints was 1.33±0.52 and 2.00±6.63 (P>0.05),4 week after treatment that was 3.00± 0.63 and 6.50 ± 0.84 (P<0.05),respectively.Lower expression of ADAMTS-4 and ADAMTS-5 was observed in the treated joints than in the controls (P<0.05).Conclusion:Intra-articular injection of IL-1Ra into TMJ can alleviate the cartilage lesion, the mechanism may lie in the inhibition of the expression of ADAMTS-4 and ADAMTS-5.

Cancer Research and Clinic 2000;0(06):-
Objective To study the inhibition effects of 10-hydroxycamptothecinc and low molecular weight heparins on human hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)in nude mice. Methods Metastatic model of HCC was established in nude mice. The model mice were randomly divided into 4 groups:the control group,10- hydroxycamptothecinc group, low molecular weight heparins group, and combined treatment group(10-hy- droxycamptothecinc and low molecular weight heparins).Tumor sizes, tumor inhibition rates, tumor metas- tases, intratumoral microvessel density(MVD),CD_(31)and AFP were evaluated. Results In comparison with the control group and the 10-hydroxycamptothecinc group, the tumor sizes of the low molecular weight heparins and the combined treatment group were significantly smaller;the tumor inhibitor rates were 0 versus 76.6%, 79.8%,94.1%;MVD were 21.1?6.5 versus 17.2?3.1,7.1?2.3 and 4.8?1.8;CD_(31)were 31.7?6.1 versus 26.2?5.2,20.9?4.7 and 19.5?2.4;the incidence of liver metastasis was 80% versus 70%,20% and 10%;lung metastasis was 70% versus 60%,20% and 10%;the peritoneal metastasis was 90% versus 60%,30% and 30%.AFP were(121.9?31.4)ng/ml versus(56.2?37.9)ng/ml,(75.6?28.7)ng/ml and(20.7?12.9)ng/ml. Inhibiting effects of growth and metastasis of HCC in 10-hydroxycamptothecinc group, low molecular weight heparins group and combined treatment group were significantly different from those of the control group(F= 9.074,P

Objective To investigate the effects of constant magnetic field on secretion and expression of vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1) in human vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) induced by angiotensin Ⅱ (AngⅡ). Methods The fourth to sixth passages of in vitro cultured VSMCs from human umbilical artery were used. The cells were divided into six groups, i.e. control group, AngⅡ (1?10 -6mol/L) group, Ang Ⅱ with exposure to 1, 5, 10 or 50 Gs of constant magnetic field groups. Samples were collected 12 hours after intervention. The secretion of VCAM-1 was assayed by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and the expression of VCAM-1 was assessed by immunocytochemistry. Results The secretion of VCAM-1 was increased significantly 12 hours after intervention with AngⅡ of 10 -6mol/L (P

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2016;32(5):732-734
Mandibular symphysis fracture combined with anteromedial dislocated condyle fracture is commom in clinical, but mandibular symphysis fracture associated with superolateral dislocation of the mandibular condyle is rare, which is often misdiagnosed or completely over-looked.Malpractice can lead to ankylosis and other sequelae. This article reviews 10 patients with mandibular symphysis fracture associated with superolateral dislocation of the mandibular condyle, discusses the causative mechanism, diagnostic features and clinical management according to literature data.
