[Objective] To understand Chinese scholars in different periods on the different understanding of tongue, for further development of research and provide a theoretical basis. [Method] Access to a large number of ancient books and literature, selection and tongue of related articles, extract and summa-rize the main points. [Result] The ancient understanding of TCM tongue is very knowledgeable, and by the subjective leading generation, does not have the scientific rigour;modern research of Chinese medicine tongue is mainly from the tongue and tongue color, tongue shape and other aspects, the objec-tive diagnosis and analysis system, the research methods of modern TCM tongue with scientific rigor modern Chinese Medicine; from the point of view, different degrees of col aterals and the width of the color purple tongue, sublingual y reflect the progress of the blood stasis degree and disease conditions, different diseases have different characteristics of the tongue. [Conclusion] Research on the development of modern tongue made certain contribution to TCM development.

Juvenile retinoschisis (RS or XLRS,MIM#312700)is a rare X-linked inherited disorder,mainly affects bilateral retina,and is characterized by cartwheel-like changes of the macular region of the retina and schisis or splitting within the inner retinal layers,leading to visual deterioration.The electroretinogram is beneficial in the diagnosis of juvenile retinoschisis.The a-wave can be of normal or nearly normal amplitude in this disorder,whereas the amplitude of the b-wave is appreciably reduced,giving a decrease in the proportion of b/a.The responsible gene,XLRSl,maps to Xp22 and was identified by positional cloning.This paper makes a brief review about the latest XLRS research of pathogenesis,animal experiments,clinical therapy,and 25 references are cited.

AIM:To investigate the role of SDF-1? in migrating of bone marrow stromal cells to the injured areas. METHODS:Ischemic brain lesion model was created in rats by permanent middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO). 48 SD rats were divided randomly into 2 groups. Group 1:phosphate buffered saline (PBS 1 mL) for control (n=25); Group 2:BMSCs (2?106) were injected intravenously at 24 h after MCAO (n=24). After propagated in BMSCs,Ad5/F35 GFP (green fluorescent protein) was infected to BMSCs. The expression of SDF-1? (stromal cell-derived factor-1?) mRNA in the penrumbral tissue was assayed by real-time quantitative PCR. The expression of CXCR4 on MSCs was detected by flow cytometry. Confocal microscopy was used to detect the GFP-labeled MSCs migration. RESULTS:Ad5/F35 GFP signals was observed in almost infected BMSCs. The expressions of SDF-1? mRNA in the thalamus and hippocampus of the ischemic brains were peaked at 3rd day after stroke,followed by a decrease at 14th day post-ischemia. The expression of SDF-1? mRNA in the cortex of the ischemic brains was peaked at 7th day post-ischemia,still at high level at 14th day post-ischemia. The median percentage of surface CXCR4 expression in BMSCs was 14%. GFP labeled BMSCs were detected in the origination of the middle cerebral artery (olfactory area) at 6 h,after 3 days in the prenumbra tissue such as thalamus,and in the cortex more labeled cells were found after 14 d post-ischemia.CONCLUSION:BMSCs can pass through the blood brain barrier of ischemic rats. Its mechanism might be associated with the expression of SDF-1? in the ischemic brain.

Objective To investigate the effect of Xuefuzhuyu pill on blood glucose,sex hormone,insulin levels and HOMA-IR index in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome and infertility.Methods 59 patients with polycystic ovary syndrome and infertility from January 2014 to January 2015 in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into experimental group and control group,29 cases in each group,the control group was treated with clomiphene citrate capsules,the patients in the experimental group were given Xuefuzhuyu pill baseed on the treatment in control group,treatment period for three menstrual cycles,after the end of treatment,the levels of serum sex hormone levels,fasting blood glucose,insulin levels,HOMA index,uterine endometrial thickness,ovulation and pregnancy were detected.Results After treatment,compared with control group,in the experimental group,the serum levels of LH and T were significantly lower,and the serum levels of FSH,E2 and P were significantly higher,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the serum anti-Mullerian hormone(AMH)content in the experimental group was significantly lower,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the serum levels of FINS and HOMA-IR were significantly lower in the experimental group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the endometrial thickness of patients in experimental group was significantly increased,the number of follicles and ovarian volume were significantly decreased,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the ovulation rate and pregnancy rate in the experimental group was higher,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Xuefuzhuyu pill can significantly reduce the serum LH,T,FINS,AMH and HOMA-IR levels in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome,which can improve the serum FSH,P,E2 levels,regulate sex hormone secretion,reduce insulin resistance,improve the ovulation rate and pregnancy rate,compared to single use of citric acid clomiphene capsules effect is more ideal.

ObjectiveTo explore the association of smoking to the Aspirin and Clopidogrel antiplatelet in patients with stable angina after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods241 smoking patients and 252 non-smoking patients underwent PCI for stable coronary artery disease, all patients had taken aspirin 100 mg/d for 7 d or more. The arachidonic acid (AA)- and adenosine diphosphate (ADP)-induced platelet aggregation were tested as they got in hospital. Then, they accepted Clopidogrel 300 mg as loading dose, continued with 75 mg/d for 3 d. The ADP-induced platelet aggregation were re-tested. ResultsThe incidence of aspirin resistance (AR) and aspirin semiresponder (ASR) was 19.1% in all the cases, and was 25.5% in smoking group, 14.3% in non-smoking group (P=0.027). Age (OR=3.79，95%CI: 1.77～8.12) and smoking (OR=1.98，95%CI: 1.18～4.43) were the independent risk factors of AR and ASR. The incidence of Clopidogrel resistance was 19.5% in all the cases, and was 13.2% in smoking group, 24.3% in non-smoking group (P=0.03). Smoking (OR=0.22，95%CI: 0.09～0.54) may reduce the risk of Clopidogrel resistance. ConclusionSmoking increased the risk of AR and ASR, but reduced the risk of Clopidogrel resistance.

Objective To study the effect of comprehensive care on the level of high-sensitivity Creactive protein and matrix metaloproteinase-9 in patients with hemorrhagic infarction.Methods 48 patients with hemorrhagic infarction were divided into the control group and the observation group with 24cases in each group.The control group was given conventional care,the observation group was given comprehensive care.Serum hsCRP and MMP-9 level of all patients were measured on day 1,day 3,day 7,day 14.Results The level of serum hsCRP and MMP-9 in the observation group on day 7 was significantly decreased compared with on day 1.The level of serum hsCRP and MMP-9 in the observation group on day 7 was lower than the control group.On day 14,the level of serum hsCRP and MMP-9 returned to normal in the observation group,which was lower than the control group.Conluusions The implementation of comprehensive care for HI patients can effectively reduce the hsCRP and MMP-9 level in serum,shorten hospitalization time,and is conducive to the prognosis of patients.

Objective To investigate the dynamic changes of splenocyte cytokines in mice immunized with the transgenic alfalfa containing Eg95-EgA31 fusion gene of Echinococcus granulosus (Eg). Methods Eighty-eight Balb/c mice were divided into 2 groups randomly according to body weights,and immunized orally or intranasally with 100μl or 10μl extracted leaf protein from the transgenic alfalfa(20 g/L) respectively once per 3 days for 2 months. Four mice randomized from each group were killed to get splenocyte on week 0(control),2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18 and 20 after the last immunization. The splenocyte were cultured in medium for 48 hours with EgAg or concanavalin A (ConA) stimulation to induce the interleukin (IL)-12,interferon γ(IFN-γ) and IL-10,and cultured for 72 hours with EgAg or lipopolysaccharide (LPS) stimulus to induce the tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α). Then the supernatant was collected to measure the level of IL-12,IFN-γ,TNF-α and IL-10 by ELISA. Results In the oral immunization group,the level of IL-12,IFN-γ,TNF-α and IL-10 increased significantly from week 4 to week 6,week 2 to week 8,week 2 to week 6 and week 4 to week 12,respectively,reaching the highest level(25.0±5.8)ng/L on week 4,(575.0±28.9)ng/L on week 2,(50.0±11.5)ng/L on week 2 and (42.5±2.9)ng/L on week 8,respectively,as compared with the values on week 0[(11.3±2.5),(125.0±28.9),(11.3±2.5),(12.5±2.9)ng/L,all P < 0.01]; in the intranasal immunization group,it was similar about the values of IL-12,IFN-γ,TNF-α and IL-10 could be seen from week 4 to week 6,week 2 to week 10,week 4 to week 10 and week 6 to week 16,respectively,reaching the highest level(25.0±5.8)ng/L on week 6,(725.0±28.9)ng/L on week 4,(27.5±2.9)ng/L on week 6 and (60.0±11.5)ng/L on week 6,respectively,as compared with the values on week 0[(11.3±2.5),(125.0±28.9),(11.3±2.5),(12.5±2.9)ng/L,all P < 0.01]. The cytokine levels in the groups with EgAg,ConA or LPS stimulus were significantly higher than those in the corresponding splenocyte suspension groups(P < 0.05 or < 0.01),and the cytokine levels in the groups with ConA or LPS stimulus were obviously higher than those in the corresponding groups with EgAg stimulation (P < 0.05 or < 0.01). Conclusion The mixed responses of Th1 and Th2 types can be induced in mice immunized with the transgenic alfalfa in the early period post immunization(2-10 weeks).

Objective To investigate the change of splenocyte subsets in Balb/c mice immunized with transgenic alfalfa(Medicago sativa)containing Eg95-EgA31 fusion gene of Echinococcus granulosus(Eg) and challenged with Eg protoscoleces.Methods Leaf protein was extracted from transgenic alfalfa containing Eg95-EgA31 fusion gene by heat-coagulation method,and concentration of 20 g/L was used in the study.Meanwhile,leaf protein extracted from the transgenic alfalfa containing blank vector(pBI121)and the normal alfalfa was served as control.Thirty-two female Balb/c mice were randomly divided into 4 groups,8 mice in each group.Oral group was immunized with the leaf protein containing Eg95-EgA31 fusion antigen intragastrically(100μl per mouse);intranasal group was immunized with the leaf protein containing Eg95-EgA31 fusion antigen intranasally(10 μl per mouse);blank vector group was vaccinated intranasally with 10μl leaf protein with blank vector(pBI121);and normal control group was given 100μl normal leaf protein intragastrically.All mice in the above mentioned groups were immunized every 3 days for 2 months.Then,the mice were challenged intraperitoneally with Eg protoscoleces(50 protoscoleces per mouse)8 weeks after last vaccination and sacrified 24 weeks pest infection to separate the splenocytes.Flow cytometry was used to measure the percentages of CD4+ and CD8+ T ceils subsets.Resuits Compared with the normal control group(0.166±0.018,0.083±0.006,2.019 ±0.369),the percentages of CD4+(0.286±0.009)and CD8+(0.102±0.004)T cell subsets and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+(2.814±0.014)in oral group increased significantly (P<0.01 or<0.05).The percentage of CD4+ subset(0.269±0.016)and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+(2.955±0.986) in intranasal group was significantly higher than that ofthe normal control group(all P<0.01).The percentage of CD4+ subset in oral group was significantly higher than that of the intranasal group(P<0.05).No significant difference was found in the percentages of CD4+ and CD8+ T cell subsets and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ between the blank vector group(0.169±0.018,0.093±0.019,1.852±0.188)and the normal control group(all P>0.05).Conclusions CD4+ T cell may play an important role in the protection induced by transgenic alfalfa vaccine against the challenge of Eg protoscoleces.Intragastrical immunization may be a good route.
