Objective To analyze the CT features of large adrenal adenoma and to compare the pathological features of large adenoma and small adenoma in order to improve the diagnosis of large adenoma.Methods The unenhanced and enhanced CT images of 14 patients with large adrenal adenoma,proven surgically and pathologically and pathological features of small adrenal adenomas in 30 cases were retrospectively reviewed.The pathological features were evaluated in the cell composition,the incidence of cystic degeneration and hemorrhage of large adenoma and small adenoma.Results 14 large adenomas were unilateral and single,3 had distinct margin and 11 had indistinct margin,14 showed regular contour of round or ellipse,the size of tumors were 5 cm?5.5 cm～18 cm?20 cm.14 large adenomas presened heterogenous density in unenhanced CT study with CT value of-36～51 HU,and 3 showed calcification and 6 showed cystic degeneration.Most of the 14 adenomas presented heterogenenous enhancement after contrast administration.Pathologic examination indicated that the clear cells were predominant in the cell composition of small adenoma,while in the case of large adenoma,the proportion of compact cell predominance was equivalent to that of the clear cell and compact cell concomitance.3 small adenomas and 6 large adenomas had cystic degeneration,5 small adenomas and 4 large adenomas had hemorrhage respectively.Statistical analysis suggested that large adenoma had higher incidence of degeneration than that in small adenoma,while no difference was found in the cell composition and incidence of hemorrhage between large adenoma and small adenoma.Conclusion The large adrenal adenomas have higher incidence of degeneration than that in small adenoma,while no difference is found in cell composition and incidence of hemorrhage between large adenoma and small adenoma.

Old patients with hand-foot itch were treated by acupuncture combined with the irradiation of TDP. For hand itch, selected acupoints Jianyu (LI 15), Quchi (LI 11), Shousanli (LI 10), Hegu (LI 4), and Zhongzhu (TE 3); for foot itch, selected acupoints Zusanli (ST 36), Sanyinjiao (SP 6), Jiexi (ST 41),Rangu (KI 2), Taichong (LR 3) and Zulinqi (GB 4). OF 33 patients, the symptom were cured in 26 cases and improved in 7 cases after 2-course's treatment.

Objective To evaluate the cancer risk of benzene and formaldehyde in different indoor air environments in Guiyang city.Methods From 2004 to 2005,benzene and formaldehyde monitoring was conducted in bedrooms,living rooms, kitchens,offices,classrooms and outdoor environments in winter,spring and autumn,and human health risk assessment was done. Results The mean benzene and formaldehyde concentration in different environments were lower than the China indoor air quality standard except for formaldehyde concentration in offices.The benzene cancer risks of male and female adults were 1.63?10~4 and 1.40?10~(-4)respectively.The formaldehyde cancer risks of male and female adults were 6.05?10~(-4)and 5.23?10~(-4) respectively.The human formaldehyde cancer risk was higher than benzene cancer risk,and the risk for male was higher than that for female.Benzene and formaldehyde cancer risks of different population in different indoor environments were above 1.00?10~(-6), the acceptable level of human cancer risk.Conclusion The benzene and formaldehyde concentrations in different environment in Guiyang city has the high cancer risks to human health.

Objective To explore the value of the use of the vacuum sealing drainage technology (VSD) in the dermatoplasty for large area of cutaneous defects.Methods By a prospective randomized study,64 patients with large area of cutaneous defects were randomly divided into traditional packaging group (dermatoplasty with the traditional dermatoplastic package method,n =32) and VSD group( dermatoplasty with the vacuum sealing drainage technology,n =32).Operating time,survival.rate of skin graft and wound infection were compared between these two groups.Results There was no significant difference in the operation time between the two groups( [77 ± 16]min vs [83 ± 12] min,P =0.06).The survival rate of skin graft and wound infection in VSD group were significantly better than those in traditional packaging group( survival rate of skin graft:(6±1)％ vs (20±7)％,P＜0.001;wound infection cases:1 vs6,P=0.039).Conclusion Treating large area of cutaneous defects by the dermatoplasty with VSD technology could significantly improve clinical efficacy.

Receptor of activated C-kinase 1 (RACK1) shows different expression in various tumors,because its seven WD repeating sequences can combine with a variety of molecules.In addition to activating protein kinases C,RACK1 still plays a role in many tumor-related signaling pathways.With the deepening of research,RACK1 is expected to play an active role in cancer diagnosis,treatment and prognosis.

Objective To tudy the relationship of working family conflict and working pressure, symptom, working satisfaction, job burnout, and working achievement in Wanzhou district of Chongqing. Methods 1094 nurses were randomly surveyed in this study. Nursing woking family conflict scale, working pressure scale, symptom, working satisfaction scale, job burnout, and working achievement-related data were collected from clinical nursing units. Results High working family conflict had been ob-served in nurses of Wanzhou district of Chongqing. Nurses individual health had been greatly influenced by working family con-filct, which not influencing working achievement. Conclusions It is important to keep individual mental health through relieving job family conflict and taking more care for nurse population in family conflict.

The literature retrieval course is the main form of current domestic medical infor-mation literacy education. But students have no interest in it, so it's difficult to realize the goal of in-formation literacy education. Information literacy education has the same ideas and goals with PBL in developing students' ability to ask questions, analyze and solve problems, as well as in improving students' autonomous learning and life-long learning ability. To study the model of medical information literacy education embedded in PBL from three stages that early course preparation, mid implementa-tion and later evaluation. The research is aimed at the improvement of students' information literacy and their lifelong study ability. It suggests that there are coordinated effects between PBL and informa-tion literacy.

Objective To investigate the effects of sodium cyanide(NaCN) and /or acute hypobaric hypoxia on the contents of monoamine neurotransmitters in rats' brain.Methods 128 adult male SD rats were divided into normoxic group and acute hypoxia group with 64 animals for each group.An artificial hypobaric hypoxia chamber was used to simulate a 4 000m altitude situation.The acute hypoxic exposure models were established by exposing rats to the hypobaric chamber for 3 days.All the rats were then injected intra-peritoneally with NaCN in a dosage of 3.6mg/kg at sea level and at simulated high altitude at 0,0.5,2 and 6h time points.The rats were sacrificed and the brains were isolated.The brain tissues of hippocampus and striatum corpora were then dissected on ice.Proteins of the brain tissue were extracted by centrifugation.Contents of dopamine(DA),epinephrine(NE) and 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT) in the brain tissues were analyzed by HPLC.Results NaCN intoxication did not affect the contents of DA,NE and 5-HT at 0.5h,2h and 6h in the selected brain tissues of the normoxic group.Compared with non-intoxication group,however,NaCN intoxication for 2h or 6h significantly decreased the levels of NE and 5-HT in the hippocampus tissues and the contents of DA,NE and 5-HT in striatum corpora in acute hypobaric hypoxia group.The contents of DA,NE and 5-HT in striatum corpora and the contents of NE and 5-HT in acute hypoxia group were significantly decreased compared with that in normoxic group(P

The lineage-Actinobacteria class nov.comprises organisms with a DNA base composition which generally is above 50% G+C (with a few exceptions).We set up a method that has been used in isolating Actinobacteria and Actinomycetes. We added 25?g/mL Nalidixic acid and 25?g/mL Aztreonam into isolation media to inhibit the other bacteria and 20?g/mL Benlete to inhibit fungi.We used fluorescent in situ hybridization to identi 1fy Actinobacteria. Using the four probes,PA-1,PA-2,PHGC and PNHGC,we made the identification on the 31 strains of the 56 gram-positive bacteria randomly selected and got 22 positive results,6 negative results and 3 ambiguous results.It was showed that the results of G+C content determination and FISH method were identical.Among 31 strain,there were 24 strains of Actinobacteria,the rate was 77.4%.This proved the isolation and FISH identification methods were effective and reliable.
