Objective To analyze the advantages of combined analysis of allergen skin prick test(SPT)and phadiatop/specific IgE antibody on the allergen diagnosis in asthmatic children. Methods Inhalant allergen SPT and Phadiatop test were done in 57 asthmatic children.Thirty-three cases of those asthmatic children were measured serum specific IgE antibody against dermatophagoids pteronyssinus. Results Dermatophagoids, molds and pets were the main inhalant allengens in asthmatic children. The positive rates of SPT and Pha-(diatop) in 57 asthmatic children were 86% and 79%,respectively,and the consistence rate between SPT and Phadiatop was 86%.Five cases with negative Phadiatop were confirmed to have molds allergy via SPT and molds specific IgE test. The consistence rate of dermatophagoids pteronyssinus SPT and specific IgE was 97%.Conclusion It is helped to improve the sensitivity and specificity of allergen diagnosis in asthmatic children when doctors combined analyze the results of allergen skin prick test and specific IgE test.
3.Retrospective analysis on 1 124 case-times of renal transplantation
Chinese Journal of Organ Transplantation 1996;0(02):-
Objective To sum up the experience of renal transplantation in order to improve transplant effect and enhance the long-term survival and recovery rate. Methods The data of renal transplantation of 1 124 cases who received renal transplantation from Jul. 1978 to Oct. 2001 were summarized. All the possible factors that could influence the transplant effect such as pre-operative preparation, HLA match, donors' quality, surgical procedure, immunosuppressive therapy and so on were analyzed. Results The 1-, 3-, 5-year survival rate (%) of patient/kidney was 83.1/ 70.3, 74.6/ 68.6 and 62.6/ 56.1 respectively. The rate of AR was decreased significantly from 3.09?% only with LXM to 0.89?% with LXM test in combination with HLA serological test. The rate of HAR and AR in 130 cases with additional PRA test were lower than those only with LXM test. Conclusions The well pre-operative preparation, the ideal HLA match, the high quality of donor's kidney and transplant operation were keys for successful renal transplantation. Reduction of the complications, individual and combined medication in reason and long-term follow-up were very important in the long-term survival time.

Microbiology 1992;0(06):-
An acidic xylanase gene, named xyl3,was cloned from the genomic library of enviromental microbes constructed by using shotgun cloning strategy, and submitted to GeneBank with accession number of gb:AY300805.BLAST analysis indicated that the gene xyl3 has low similarity with other xylanase genes and the encoded xylanase, sorted as Glycosyl hydrolases family 10,has 77% similarity with the intra-cellular xylanase from Geobacillus stearothermophilus at amino acid level.Treated with T4 DNA polymerase, the gene xyl3 was ligated with the linearized Pichia pastoris expression vector pHBM905 produced by digestion of restriction endonuclease CpoI and NotI to generate the recombinant plasmid pHBM706.Then the plasmid pHBM706,digested by restriction endonuclease SalI,was transformed into P.pastoris GS115 to obtain the recombinant P.pastoris GS115(pHBM706),which was induced to produce the recombinant xylanase with 0.5% methanol at 28℃.At the 36th hours of induction, the porduced crude enzyme was detected to reach the higest enzyme activity of 0.177 IU/mL.The optimal pH and temperature of the enzyme activity is 5.5 and 50℃ respectively.

OBJECTIVETo compare the therapeutic effect of Astragalus and Angelica Mixture (AAM) on treating CKD patients according to different CKD primary diseases, staging and TCM syndromes.
METHODSA multicentre, open-label, and self control clinical design was used, and thirty-two patients in line with inclusive criteria were recruited. Based on maintaining their previous basic CKD treatment, patients additionally took AAM (Astragalus and Angelica each 30 g), once a day, three months consisted of one therapeutic course. Serum creatinine (SCr), estimated glomerular filtration rate (eG- FR), 24 h urinary total protein (UTP), plasma albumin (ALB), hemoglobin (Hb), and changes of TCM syndrome factor integrals were compared before treatment, at the end of month 1, 2, and 3. The differences in the aforesaid indices were compared between CKD patients with different CKD primary diseases (chronic glomerulonephritis, chronic renal tubulointerstitial disease, hypertensive renal damage), different CKD stages (CKD 3 and CKD 4), and patients of qi-blood deficiency syndrome (QBDS) and non-QBDS.
RESULTSAAM could improve 78.12% (25/32) patients' renal function. Compared with before treatment, SCr decreased (12.08% +/- 10.11%), eGFR increased (21.14% +/- 18.55%), and ALB increased (2.76% +/- 1.97%) at the end of 3-month treatment (all P < 0.05). As for TCM syndrome factor integrals, compared with before treatment, the integrals for qi deficiency syndrome, blood deficiency syndrome, and yin deficiency syndrome decreased, while the integrals for dampness heat syndrome and turbid-toxin syndrome increased (all P < 0.05). There was no obvious difference in all indices except the integral for hypertensive renal damage patients of yin deficiency syndrome (P > 0.05). The SCr decreasing percent was 19.82% +/- 8.30% for patients of non-QBDS and 5.24% +/- 10.75% for patients of QBDS. The latter was higher with statistical difference (P < 0.05). As for TCM syndrome factor integrals, the integral differences of qi deficiency and blood deficiency were obviously higher in patients of QBDS, when compared with patients of non-QBDS (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONAAM could improve the renal function of CKD patients, elevate their ALB levels, and ameliorate associated qi deficiency syndrome, blood deficiency syndrome, and yin deficiency syndrome, especially for CKD patients of QBDS.

National Journal of Andrology 2014;20(3):234-238
OBJECTIVETo evaluate digital rectal examination (DRE) , transrectal ultrasonography (TRUS) , free/total (f-PSA/ t-PSA) prostate-specific antigen (PSA), and PSA density (PSAD) in the diagnosis of prostate cancer (PCa) in patients with PSA < or = 4.0 microg/L.
METHODSBetween April 1996 and December 2012, a total of 343 subjects, aged 30 -91 years, with PSA < or =4.0 microg/L and abnormal findings on DRE or TRUS underwent prostatic biopsy. Based on the levels of PSA, the subjects were divided into four groups: 0 -1.0, 1.1 -2. 0, 2.1 -3. 0, and 3.1 -4.0 microg/L. The diagnostic values of DRE, TRUS, f-PSA/t-PSA, and PSAD were assessed in those with different PSA levels. According to the age, the subjects were again divided into five groups: C49 yr, 50 -59 yr, 60 -69 yr, 70 -79 yr, and > 80 yr. The rates of PCa detection in relation to PSA levels were estimated in different age groups.
RESULTSOf the 343 subjects, 65 (19.0% ) were diagnosed with PCa, with detection rates of 16.28% (21/129) , 17. 17% (17/99), 21.82% (12/55), and 25.00% (15/60) in those with the PSA levels of 0 -1.0, 1.1 -2.0, 2.1 -3.0, and 3.1 -4.0 microg/L, respectively. There were statistically significant differences in f-PSA/t-PSA between the PCa patients and non-PCa subjects with the PSA level > 2.0 microg/L (P <0.05) , but not with the PSA level < or =2.0 microg/L (P > 0.05) , nor did PSAD show any significant difference between the PCa and non-PCa groups ([0.09+/-0. 16] versus [0. 06 +/- 0. 07] micro/L/ml, P > 0. 05). The rate of cancer detection rose -with the elevation of the PSA level, but had no statistically significant difference among different age groups (P >0.05).
CONCLUSIONPSA 2.1 -4.0 microg/L with abnormal DRE and TRUS findings should be considered as a warning signal, which requires regular follow-up and PSA detection. With f-PSA/t-PSA <0. 15 with or without abnormal DRE and TRUS findings, routine prostate biopsy should be performed. PCa diagnosis cannot be effectively established by DRE, TRUS, f-PSA/t-PSA, and PSAD in those with PSA < or = 2.0 microg/L.
