Objective:To study the effects of Shixinyatong buccal tablets(SBT)in patients after the extraction of mandibular third molar.Methods:150 cases of patients were divided into 3 groups(n =50).After tooth extraction the patients in SBT,cephalosporin and control groups were given SBT at 0.6 g,4 times per day,cepholosporin 0.5 g,2 times per day and no drug respectively.At the 3rd and 5th day the patients were followed up and their local symptoms were scored.The data were statistically analyzed with SAS 9.0 soft ware.Results:Between SBT and cepholosporin or control group there was no statistical difference in demographic data and impac-tion types of the teeth(P >0.05).The total symptom integral,primary symptom integral,minor symptoms,wound pain,redness, swelling degree and oral odor in SBT group were lower than those in control group(P <0.05)at the 5th day after tooth extraction.Be-tween SBT group and cephalosporin group there was no significant difference(P >0.05)in the total symptom integral,primary symp-tom integral,secondary symptom integral at the 3rd and the 5th day.Conclusion:Shixinyatong buccal tablet is effective in the preven-tion of complications after the extraction of mandibular third molar.

OBJECTIVETo investigate diagnostic efficacy of transvaginal three-dimensional hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography (3D-HyCoSy) in assessing tubal patency with chromolaporoscopy.

METHODSA total of 157 infertile women underwent 3D-HyCoSy to evaluate tubal patency. Among these patients, 39 patients were also examined by chromolaporoscopy. The concordance of the two clinical assessment methods was analyzed by the Kappa coefficient test.

RESULTSAmong the 306 oviducts examined by 3D-HyCoSy, 99 (32.4%) were patent, 126 (41.2%) partially obstructed, and 81 (26.5%) completely obstructed. Diagnostic results with 3D-HyCoSy were not statistically different from those obtained in the 39 women (78 oviducts) who also underwent chromolaporoscopy, and the two methods showed a high concordance (k=0.747, P=0.000). The 3D-HyCoSy procedure had a sensitivity of 84.8% (28/33), a specificity of 96.2% (25/26), and positive and negative predictive values of 93.3% (28/30) and 86.2% (25/29) respectively.

CONCLUSIONTransvaginal 3D-HyCoSy can accurately reveal the spatial path and morphology of the oviduct and is a safe and effective method to evaluate tubal patency.

Objective To identify dosimetric predictors for the development of gastrointestinal toxicity in patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma treated with TOMO radiotherapy .Methods From January 2014 to Janu-ary 2015 ,we analysed the medical records of 68 pancreatic cancer patients who received helical tomotherapy from Air Force General Hospital .The stomach and duodenum were contoured separately to determine their dose volume histogram(DVH)parameters.Chi-square test was employed to analyze the count data .Spearman correlation anal-ysis was used to analyze the relationship between occurrence of gastrointestinal toxicity and clinical and physical factors.Logistic regression models was performed to identify risk factors associated with gastrointestinal toxicity . Results The median follow-up was 9 months(4~16 months).18 patients experienced grade II acute gastroin-testinal toxicity ,1 patient experienced grade Ⅲ acute gastrointestinal toxicity , whereas 17 patients experienced grade II late gastrointestinal toxicity ,1 patient experienced grade Ⅲlate gastrointestinal toxicity .On UVA,the vol-ume,Dmean,D1,D3,D5,D10,V5 to V40,and V5′to V45′of duodenum were significantly associated with GradeⅡor higher gastrointestinal toxicity ( P <0.05 ) .The MVA, V45′of duodenum was independent predictor for gradeⅡor higher gastrointestinal toxicity(P<0.05).The ROC analysis also showed that V45′of 0.5cm3 was the optimal threshold to predict for gastrointestinal toxicity for the entire cohort .Conclusion V45′of duodenum is of greater importance in the judgment of occurrence of hypofractioned radiation -induced gastrointestinal toxici-ty.

Objective:To explore the mediating effect of positive emotion on relationship between cognition reappraisal and meaning of life in freshmen.Methods:Totally 192 freshmen[62 males and 130 females,aged 18 to 22 years,mean age (20 ± 2) years] were assessed with the Chinese version of the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ),Positive words of the Positive and Negative Affect Scale (PANAS) and Chinese version of the Meaning of Life Questionnaire (MLQ).Interval of 3 months of longitudinal data was used to investigate the mediating role of positive emotions in cognitive reappraisal sense and meaning of life.Results:The EPQ scores were positively correlated with the scores of PA,MLQ-P,and MLQ-S(r =0.17-0.26,Ps ＜ 0.05).The PA scores were positively correlated with the scores of MLQ-P and MLQ-S (r =0.16-0.35,Ps ＜0.05).Bootstrap test showed that positive emotions mediated meaning of life through cognitive reappraisal (95％ CI:0.065-0.295).The structural equation model proved to exhibit an appropriate data fit (x2/df=1.58,RMSEA =0.06,CFI =0.98,GFI =0.95).Conclusion:It indicates that cognitive reappraisal is related to meaning of life and positive emotions,and positive emotions mediate the relationship between cognitive reappraisal and meaning of life among freshmen.

Objective:The recombinant human retinal pigment epithelium-derived factor(PEDF)protein to be obtained and the angiogenesis of the rPEDF to be identified.Methods: PEDF gene gene was amplified by PCR and cloned into pET32a,rPEDF protein was expressed in E.coli BL21 and confirmed by SDS-PAGE and Western blot.The rPEDF was purified by Ni-NTA on denature condition.The concentration of the rPEDF was determined by Bradford method.The angiogenesis of the rPEDF was determined by chick chorioallantoic membrane(CAM) method.Results: The expression plasmid pET32a-PEDF was constructed successfully.The rPEDF was expressed with stable efficiency in E.coli BL21.The results of the CAM experiment showed that the rPEDF had notable angiogenesis effect in the concentration 0.4、0.04 ng/ml,but had no effect in 4 ng/ml.Conclusion:The PEDF gene was cloned and expressed efficiently,the angiogenesis of the rPEDF to be identified and the activity was worked in certain range.The results can facilitate studying its function and spreading its application.
