3.Research progress of the relationship between choroidal thickness and idiopathic macular hole
International Eye Science 2016;16(7):1291-1294
Idiopathic macular hole is a full - thickness defect of retinal tissue involving the anatomic fovea and affecting central visual acuity and quality of life in elder patients. Recent evidence showed that the alterations of choroidal blood flow and choroidal thickness are associated with the formation of macular holes. Enhanced depth imaging spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (EDI SD-OCT) enables in vivo measurement of choroidal thickness and may provide new insight into the understanding of pathogenesis of idiopathic macular hole. In this article, we reviewed current studies on the relationship between choroidal thickness measured by optical coherence tomography and the pathogenesis of idiopathic macular hole.

Objective To establish luciferase-labeled mesenchymal stem cells in vitro. Methods From May,2013 to January,2014,recombinant lentiviral vectors containing luciferase gene was transfected in to mesenchymal stem cell line C3H10T1/2.Puromycin was used to filter the cells.Western-blot and immunofluorescenceimaging were used to detect the transfection efficiency. Results Western blotting analysis showed that the size of this protein in cells expressing about 60KD.Showed that infected C3H10T1/2 cells expressing luciferase protein.I mmunofluorescence, compared with the uninfected control group,virus-infected cells group of about 100% of the cells were positive for red fluorescence.Show that had built a good stable expression of luciferase C3H10T1/2 cells. Conclusion A monoclonal cell line stably and highly expressing luciferase is obtained with luciferase-labeled mesen chymal stem cells.

Objective To investigate the expression and biological significance of microRNA-126 in colon cancer tissue. Methods The expression of microRNA-126 in colon cancer tissues and adjacent tissues of colon cancer patients was detected by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) in 104 patients with colon cancer surgery (total of 104 pairs). The lentiviral vector was used to construct microRNA-126 cell line, and the effects of microRNA-126 on proliferation, migration and invasion of colon cancer cells were further studied in vitro. Results The relative expression of microRNA-126 in colon cancer tissues (0.63±0.11) was significantly lower than that in adjacent tissues (1.08±0.15),the difference was statistically significant(t=14.561,P<0.01).The positive rate of microRNA-126 expression in colon cancer tissues (61.5%) was significantly lower than that in adjacent cancer tissues (86.5 %) the difference was statistically significant(x2=16.908,P<0.05).The expression of microRNA-126 was significantly correlated with Dukes stage, depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis (P<0.05).In the Transwell experiment with matrix glue, the number of cell migration in transfection group (11.26±4.85) was significantly lower than that in blank control group (264.37±32.15),the difference was statistically significant (t=23.418,P<0.01).In the Transwell experiment without matrix glue, the number of cell migration in transfection group (83.75 ± 13.74) was significantly lower than that in blank control group (339.64 ± 26.38),the difference was statistically significant(t=12.682,P<0.01).MicroRNA-126 could inhibit the proliferation and invasion of SW480 cells. Conclusion MicroRNA-126 can significantly inhibit the development of colon cancer cells and affect the biological behavior of colon cancer cells.

Objective To compare the pathogenesis of coronary heart disease (CHD) with heart_blood stagnation syndrome (HBSS) due to Qi deficiency and Qi stagnation. Methods Indices such as endothelin,NO,TXB 2 ,6-Keto-PGF 1? ,blood rheology, platelet aggregation rate, atrial natriuretic factor,high_frequency electrocardiogram and cardiac function were observed. Results The changes of the above indices in CHD with HBSS due to Qi stagnation (Group A)were smaller than those due to Qi deficiency(Group B). Conclusion Qi stagnation is the primary stage of CHS with HBSS,the pathological changes being mild;Qi deficiency is the advanced stage, the pathological changes being severe.

Objective To study the ameliorative effects of pseudoginsenoside GQ (PGQ) on electrocardiogram changes in rats with acute myocardial ischemia induced by isoproterenol (ISO). Methods 50 Wistar rats were divided into five groups (n=10) randomly. Group I : i. v. 0.9% sodium chloride water liquor; Group II : i. v. verapamil hydrochloride of 0. 2 mg ? kg-1 ; Group III : i. v. 3. 0 mg ? kg-1 of PGQ; Group IV : i. v. 6. 0 mg ? kg-1 of PGQ; Group V : i. v. 12. 0 mg ? kg-1 of PGQ. Myocardial ischemia was induced by intravenous injection of ISO (2.0 mg ? kg-1). ST-segment changes in the lead II , precordial in lead V1 and precordial in lead V2 were examined. Results In lead II , lead precordial V 1 and lead precordial V 2 , ST-segment elevation of three PGQ groups were not obvious at every time point, the extents of ST-segment elevation were lower than those in sodium chloride water liquor group (P

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(08):-
Objective To study the relationship among insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1), insulin-like growth factor binding protein 3(IGFBP-3) and birth weight, length and placental weight and to discuss the endocrine factors which affected fetal growth by assaying levels of IGF-1、IGFBP-3 in umbilical cord serum. Methods The neonates were divided into appropriate for gestational age infant(AGA) and small for gestational age infant(SGA) according to birth weight and gestation. The birth weight, length and placental weight of neonates were measured and at meantime the levels of IGF-1 and IGFBP-3 were assayed by immunoradiometric assay. Results 1.There were 105 neonates, including 79 AGA and 26 SGA. There were significantly statistical differences in birth weight, length and placental weight (all, P

OBJECTIVE To investigate the drug resistance and the prevalence of inducible clindamycin resistance in clinical isolates of Staphylococcus aureus and evaluate the clinical value of cefoxitin disk diffusion method and oxacillin disk diffusion for detection of meticillin-resistant S.aureus(MRSA).METHODS Bacteria identification and susceptibility test were performed by VITEK-2 system and K-B disk method. The PBP2a was detected by latex agglutination and MRSA was identified by cefoxitin disk diffusion method and oxacillin disk diffusion. The inducible resistance of erythromycin to clindamycin was checked by D-test according to the standards of CLSI(NCCLS).The statistical analysis was performed by WHONET 5.4 and SPSS 13.0 software.RESULTS Resistant rate to penicillin and ampicillin was 98.9% and 100.0%,respectively.Vancomycin-resistant(VRE) or intermediate strains were not found.Of the 93 S.aureus isolates,MRSA and meticillin-sensitive S.aureus(MSSA) were 58(62.4%) and 35(37.6%),respectively.The resistant rate of MRSA to 11 antibiotics was higher than MSSA.The sensitivity and specificity of cefoxitin disk diffusion method were 98.3% and 97.1%,respectively,those of oxacillin disk diffusion were 75.9% and 94.3%.Of the 9 isolates resitant to erythromycin but susceptible to clindamycin,5(55.6%) showed inducible resistance to clindamycin.CONCLUSIONS Resistance of S.aureus is quite serious.Cefoxitin disc diffusion method is a simple and reliable method for the detection of MRSA.The inducible resistance of erythromycin to clindamycin in S aureus should be checked by D-test in clinical microbiology laboratory routinely.
