2.Research progress of the relationship between choroidal thickness and idiopathic macular hole
International Eye Science 2016;16(7):1291-1294
Idiopathic macular hole is a full - thickness defect of retinal tissue involving the anatomic fovea and affecting central visual acuity and quality of life in elder patients. Recent evidence showed that the alterations of choroidal blood flow and choroidal thickness are associated with the formation of macular holes. Enhanced depth imaging spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (EDI SD-OCT) enables in vivo measurement of choroidal thickness and may provide new insight into the understanding of pathogenesis of idiopathic macular hole. In this article, we reviewed current studies on the relationship between choroidal thickness measured by optical coherence tomography and the pathogenesis of idiopathic macular hole.

Microbiology 1992;0(01):-
Six bacterial strains with malachite green decolorization ability were isolated from a sediment of aquaculture pond, and strain M6 was selected by further enrichment culture in nutrition broth with malachite green and decolorization rate comparison. The decolorization rate of strain M6 to malachite green was 97.14% in the conditon of 30?C and 150 r/min, and its morphology was observed by gram stain and electronmicroscopy, its physiological and biochemical characteristic was studied by ATB bacteria identification in-strument for identification of bacteria, and its 16S rDNA sequence was determined following PCR amplifi-cation, the sequence was aligned and the phylogenic tree was instructed with those bacterial strains of high identity with strain M6. In addition, its growth characteristics was also studied. The experimental results showed that strain M6 was gram negative and bacilliform with a flagellum at one end. Its size was 0.45 ?m ?0.84 ?m. Its colony produced on common agar plate appeared as round, light blue, dense, hard to choose; 16S rDNA sequence of strain M6 had high identity of 98%~99% with Pseudomonas sp. located in GenBank and strain M6 had the most close relative relation to Pseudomonas putida OW-16 (Locus number: DQ112328.1). Combined the results of the traditional morphological, physiological, biochemical character-istics and 16S rDNA sequence analysis, strain M6 was identified as Pseudomonas putida (Locus number: EU348741.1). Additionally, its growth curve in the condition of 30?C and 150 r/min was as follows: lag phase was 0~4 h, log phase was 4 h~64 h, stationary phase was 64 h~80 h, decline phase was after 80 h. Its best growth conditions were pH 7 and 30?C,and in the rotational speed of 50 r/min to 250 r/min. Its concen-tration increased with the increase in rotational speed.

Objective To observe the effect of smoking on the great saphenous vein tension. Methods The rings of great saphenous vein in 3mm long of selected from 31 patients with coronary artery bypass grafting were divided into three groups :smoking over 10 years( group A, n = 12 ), ex-smoking over 1 years ( group B, n =9 ) and non-smoking( group C, n =10). The changes of the tone were measured in organ chamber at 37℃ with a constant supply of oxygen when vasoconstriction induced by phenylephrine ( 10 -9 - 10 -5 mmol/L), and vasodilatation by acetylcholine ( 10 -9 - 10 -5 mmol/L) or nitroglycerin( 10 -9 - 10 -4 mmol/L)after the rings were precontracted by 10 -5 mmol/L phenylephrine. Results Vasoconstriction induced by phenylephrine and vasodilatation by nitroglycerin is no significant difference among three groups. Compared with group A, vasodilatation by acetylcholine was significantly increased in group B or C, while there is no significant difference between group B and C. Conclusion Smoking has a deleterious effect on the endothelial function of great saphenous vein, however, smoking cessation over 1 year may help to restore the endothelial function impaired by smoking.

10.Research progress of specific pro-resolving mediators in ocular surface diseases
International Eye Science 2022;22(6):946-950
Specific pro-resolving mediators(SPM)are a class of lipid mediators that trigger and orchestrate the resolution of inflammation, which formed in cells by the metabolism of polyunsaturated fatty acids. SPM pathway and receptors are highly expressed inocular surface, and constitute endogenous SPM networks which are important for maintaining ocular surface health and immune homeostasis. Recent evidence indicates that SPM and their analogs are essential mediators in promoting corneal wound healing, corneal nerve regeneration, and inhibiting the immune inflammatory response of corneal transplant rejection, allergic conjunctivitis and microbial keratitis. In addition, they are potential therapeutic drug targets of dry eye disease, and provide novel insight on the research and treatment of ocular surface diseases. Here, we will review and discuss evidence for SPM as important endogenous regulators of ocular surface health and disease and their therapeutic potential.
